thank you so much for this video! i've been on the fence about school psychology but your videos have helped me get a better understanding about the field as well as grad school! ur amazing! :)
Tiffany I'm a big fan of yours! I'm a school psych intern in Indiana. Can you please do a video about tips and advice for new school psychs to build relationships with parents and teachers, administrators, and students? Even as an intern, I feel like my workload is so high that I am not making those relationships.
Love your videos and I also watch you on TikTok. I am starting grad school in September … I hope to make it through, using your videos for advice. Thank you.
Thanks so much for watching! Good luck with grad school. It’s a lot of work but you’ll get through it! Lots of great resources and communities online and on social media 😊
Been a watcher/subscriber for almost two years now!! And just want to say thank you so much for your content! Currently working on my personal/autobiographical statement for my application and one of the things they want us to discuss is the role of a school psych, so this was the perfect refresher lol! Lots of love to you and your family!❤️
I'm considering to pursue a School Psychology PhD program, and I found your video very informative and helpful. Thank you so much for sharing! I wonder whether a school psychologist need to do all the work you mentioned in your video or they could have a more specialized role and specific responsibilities? Usually, how many students would a school psychologist cover in average? I think it may depend on the local educational policies but I really appreciate if you could share some data about that. Again, thank you!!
Hello, I came across your channel and I have a few questions about the school psychology profession. What was your deciding factor in becoming a school psychologist? Do you enjoy being a school psychologist? Are you always leading IEP meetings? If you had to choose a different career field, would you? Do you have any regrets of being a school psychologist? Is it worth pursuing?
Hi! What do you do for the summer? Do you have the summer months off? I graduated w/ my undergrad in psych in dec. of 2021 and have just been working in the advertising industry but it just isn't for me. I miss psych and have always considered going back for my masters to be a school psyschologists
most of us get summers off unless you want a longer contract which is usually more $$. you can do whatever you want over break! it's one of the only major perks of working in public education
I don't have a question but I'm a teacher and found this interesting.
Thank you for watching!! 🫶🏻

Current practicum student! When I’m asked what we do, answer is always- It depends!
Yes! And it depends on so many things! I think generally though, we help solve problems using data 🤓
I’m a BCBA looking into dual school psychology
This is so interesting! Typically, how long are testing sessions for the kids?
My school psych queen!!!
