Autumn is at its peak and I'm out with the Sony A7C & A7IV to try and capture it on camera. It's one of the best seasons for photography in my opinion. Grab some snacks and come with me on this little adventure!

I´ve been told our 200-600 lens has its sweet spot at f/8. It should give sharper photos compared to f/6.3.
Something you can confirm or deny ? Or/and test it next time u use the 7Iv and 200-600 ?

I think you can keep the A7iii tbh, I think the handling of that camera is better than the A7C!

How do you honestly like the 20-40? Would you rather have a different lens which makes more sense? Why this lens?
I like it a lot. A 24-70 is not really wide enough for my type of forest photography. So having the ability of 20mm to 70 in one lens is very powerful imo. The F4 doesn’t bother me much since I usualu step down anyway😊

It's a big difference between the Sony A7C II and the Sony A7IV?
I want to upgrade this year, and i don't know which camera to buy.
I've only tried the A7CII quickly, but I prefer the handling of the A7IV better becuase of the amount of dials. I'm not really a fan of changing the shutter speed with the ring. So I'd honestly go with the a7IV!

I have been doing wildlife photography as a hoby since I was 4 or 5 and to this day I still take bad photos, yesterday I was down by my local dam on the low side where there is tons of fog early morning and I would say 1 in 50 photos was a C+ so many things just have to line up like the lighting, your background, your location to your subject. Hell I had a juvinile bald eagle literally sitting in a tree letting me take photos and I could not get the right lighting I wanted and with fog in the background my camera was throwing a fit giving me focus stutter and by the time my camera finally stopped the eagle said "thats enough for today" and flew off I was so bummbed about that and thankfully some geese were willing to let me get some photos of them.
I totally understand you!! That sums up how to be a wildlife photographer so much😂
I guess we need the ”bad photos” to appreciate the good ones as well!👍
