I have ONE HOUR to figure that out.

Thanks for watching,

when i was photographing birds the other day, i met someone with a1 and 600mm f4 and I'm shocked to see it irl. i pretty sure that guy is professional
Or a gadget freak amateur like me 😂
@@mkp31 i don't think that 60 years old chinese is like you
@@Pian no you are right. I’am 48 and Danish 😆
@@mkp31he wasn’t saying it was you. He was saying he wasn’t LIKE you as in he knew what he was doing
I worked with a guy who had a setup like this, he was a forklift driver in a warehouse, had a sideline in making guitars and selling them that funded his photography, turned out he used to be a wildlife cameraman for the BBC, the photos he took were incredible.
2:18 OH MY GOD IS THAT HEAVEN?!!??!?!?
200-600 is still amazing.
That lens is my goal, while for now am still learning the ropes with RX10 iv.
It’s an amazing lens!!
i just got the a6700 a few weeks ago and a 35mm 1.8 lens. took it on vacation and i started to fall inlove with photography again. loved this video! i want a zoom lens one day to take pictures of the amazing birds!
I‘m not really interested in wild photography but I really like your vibe and your editing style (both still and video) - so great work!
Hey man, I’m just getting into wildlife photography and you have been a big inspiration for me. I just want to say thanks for all of your great videos!
So glad to hear that!
Thank you so much!
So glad to hear that!
Thank you so much!
So jealous of you getting to try this beast combo!!! Awesome video as always my friend 😍
Love your channel. Keep doing what you do….an inspiration to say the least
Awesome insight on how it'd be to have a 600mm lense! And I love the message at the end for I'm the type of guy who always wants to own the best gear and fears his photos aren't good without it!
Super awesome video man! 10/10 definitely a dream set up! Also side note, love the Milwaukee bucks hat!
Wow! Thanks for Sharing your experience!
Great video! Always exciting when there's birds involved!
Great message Olle, and video as well. The best gear don't make us the best photographers.
Hey, I've been photographing wildlife for the past 2 years. Yesterday I got myself a Sony A7IV, can't wait to put this BEAST to the test. I'll pair it with sony 200-600, can't wait for the results. Wanted to thank you for all the videos you post and all the hard work you put in. You are an inspiration for me, many don't understand how we are able to photograph nature - ( birds for me ) that has already been photographed so many times... like what's the point ? Either way it was supposed to be a " Thank You" comment, so Thank You. Have a great day. Can't wait to see what you are going to psot next.
I just love the atmosphere of your videos. Im still very new to photography (bought a a6400 as my first camera about 10 days ago) and cant even think about being able to afford anything close to that but its so fascinating to see what some of the bleeding edge technology allows you to do.
money aside the 6400 is all i could wish for :)
That was my first camera ! Welcome to the photo community ,you will have fun 😊
@@polmestrathanks! im already enjoying it a lot. about to buy my first lens beside the kit one and am excited to have something new to try out :)
That’s fantastic, great camera!
Wish you a lot of great encounters with it!😊
Thanks for taking your time to comment!
In my Nikon days, the rule ‘bird same size as focus square, forget it’’. Now, I will shoot when bird is within the square! Sure, no eye AF but still recoverable. My A1 and 600f4 was the culmination of my GAS but I love it. It was a retirement present.
For some the a6400 is a dream of an camera, in a few hours I'm gonna get my first camera, a Canon T7 (EOS 2000D), it's what I can afford for now, but since I'm starting I'm good with it, so good luck for both of us man, taking photos of birds is way more exciting and rewarding than you can imagine
one of the best videos I have ever watched! You are a fantastic person!
Wow, thank you so much!!
So are you buddy!
Love the videos, hope you will be doing some more POVs again now the summer is at an end 🦅
I'd like to see the comparison between the photos from the 600 F4 and the 200-600. I just bought a 200-600, mostly inspired from your videos, and I hope to get the Sony A7R V very soon.
I have half of that setup hahaha... I shoot on the a1 and have an FE 200-600m f/5.6-6.3 G OSS like most with this setup and it's absolutely stunning the results so I can only imagine the 600 f/4 GM. The a1 was important because I love shooting wildlife and action sports when I can so it's a double dip of work and hobby for me! Great video newly subbed and enjoy all the videos I've watched so far!
I own both the A1 and 600mm and my photography dramatically changed. The fast speed of the focus and clarity from the 600mm is amazing. The birding AF from the A1 is outstanding. The pair, for me, is the perfect scenario! I can't wait to get the new 300mm this week. It was fun watching you shoot with it. With the bird videos you took...was that with the same gear? Not the footage of you.
I couldn't help smiling during the whole video as an owner of the 200-600mm and someone who desperately wants that 600mm prime (and knows it is probably not going to happen). And I can definitely approve to your final message that in the end it isn't the gear but being at the right place at the right time.

3:39 In India this flower is called lily ❤
I love this photography
Very cool!!!! Thanks for sharing…
Absolutely correct! I get AMAZING shots with my Sony A7R2 with the Tamron 150-500! Wicked combo for Birding! I live in Michigan and we are a couple weeks away from one of the best migrations in the United States!
You need it! At least just to have it in your bag every day 😉😂 great video 😀
Love your Videos and i Know i say it every single time but your Videos are making my days better
I really appreciate that you’re commenting it. Thanks for watching them, so glad to hear that😊
I'm was using A7R III with 200-600 lens on photoexpedition on Helgoland and Düne and I was very happy with the results what I've taken with that gear. This is another brutal next level, best combo for wildlife, but as you said it's over prize of house. :D
You can the minolta version of this lens for a less than 1k. I believe the preformance is around 75% of this lens.
3:23 😂 it's so sharp
At first i came here to learn, but recently i had to sell my camera for some financial reason but now i'm still here cause i love your videos.
Thanks for such great content.
I’m sorry to hear that. Hope you’ll get the possibility to buy one again in the future!
Thanks for being here, I’m really glad to hear that!
I love to have fun with my Sony A1 and the 600/f4. But sometimes at my Safari tours at Kruger National Park in South Africa, the 600 mm was too long or do only have f4. Then, I decided to take the 400/2.8 on the A1, which is also a great lens.
My most favourite place in the whole world! Personally I prefer using a 150-600 just for the fact the animals can sometimes be too close and I don't have time to change lenses. But I also don't have 14k to spend on a lens.
Amazing dream setup but like you said, out of budget :P I recently changed my Sony A7IV back to a Sony A9, i don't shot many videos and I was missing the burst shot of the A9 and the no-blackout :)
That's one crazy lens bro! I need to stop tempting myself to buy this.
Haha me too!!
My Canon 850D & Sigma 18 - 300 ... will serve me fine for my type of photography!
Eating flowers got me... 🤣
Sick lens lol!
It will make you motion sick for sure!
Hey! I have a question I am looking to get a Sony camera for wildlife photography but I’m having trouble deciding which one to get I am looking at the Sony a7lll or the Sony alpha a9 which one is better??? Btw they where both close to the same price
Whooo so very nice lens 😊 I wish I could have like that to my canon even 70-200mm F2.8 USM V2 can't afford too expensive, perhaps I'm using only kitlens 😄
I love Nature & wild photography
Watching from Philippines 😊
have you tried A6700 with 200-600 lens? What do you think for birds?
Olle, owning one is a commitment, and I say that as someone whose income relies on one. It helps you to create better images and will open opportunities to shoot things in ways the 200-600 cannot achieve, partly because it's f4 and partly because of the speed it aquires and holds AF, especially on the alpha1. The 200-600 is a fantastic lens, moreso when you factor in the price of it, but once you shoot with a supertele prime (like the 400 2.8 or 600 f4) you will start to understand why they cost the money they do. You'll also be very conscious of the cost of it, the size of it, the size of bag you need to transport it and the attention it creates if you are anywhere public.
My uncle owns the Nikkor 400mm f2.8 with teleconverter that released last year. And yeah, it's a different league in terms of sharpness and bokeh.
21.000€ 😮😮 and I can’t buy a 1000€ one 😂😂😂
Man... good that you have priorities. I use similar gear as you (A7m4 with 200-600) . I would love to get A1 though. Lens... I like 200-600 :) and have other priorities.
As much as I dream for the 600mm F4 it's a huge commitment because you can't zoom, close focus is 4.5m and F4 a lot of the time doesn't get enough in focus so if you shut the aperture you are now carrying around more weight then you need to. What justifies it, is if you need more than 600mm, the lens takes teleconverters no problems with plenty of light to spare.
I upgraded from the A7R IV to the A1 and to me personally it was a game changer, I only use silent shutter at 30fps now with no problems. The autofocus speed and fps were the only features I needed and a large bonus I wasn't expecting were much cleaner images at ISO 2000 and higher.
The 200-600 is dwarfed when next to the 600 f/4 😮
those words hits me
I have the Tamron 150-500, on my A7III it was a great lens, though it missed focus sometimes with high speed subjects coming towards me. Now with the A7RV I notice it's not very sharp, so I'm thinking about buying either the Sony 200-600 or this 600mm... But with 600mm you lose flexibility and money for just 1 stop.
I am in your exact shoes... i used the zv-e10 with the Tamron 150-500.. upgraded to the 7rv, and suddenly it seems crappy (compared to my 35-150 which is honestly insane)
hey bro nice work im a 14 year old and have a sony A450 with a minolta 75-300 but kinda wanne upgrade only one problem budget so do you have any reconommended lensen?
Jag har blivit jätte intresserad av att göra videor och bilder så vad skulle du rekommendera för foto kamera?
Your doing well brother
I rented one of these when I went to a SpaceX rocket launch amazing lens
I use a R7 and a 100-500 plus add the 1.4X if needed no issues a lot cheaper
one layk from Uzbekistan
Härlig Film Olle ! Behöver inte vara så stort hela tiden !
Tack Tobias!
Det var så kul att ses en snabbis på eventet!
Instämmer ! Får göra om det@@ollenilssonen
Hey, I want to start wildlife photography, but i have quiet a small Budget. What do you think about the Canon 90d with the sigma 150-600. I think you are Sponsored by Sony but maybe you know something about this setup. Maybe you have some completly diffrent suggestions for a budget setup, that would be perfect to. Btw, i have an old Sony-A57 with a 55-200mm right now.
It’s probably a very good setup. Sigma makes great lenses. 90D seems like a nice wildlife photography camera due to its speed!
Mammoth gear. Crazy.
You can have the most expensive gear and still have obstacles, one of which in birding is atmospheric disturbance or blurring because of heat, haze etc.
❤
Brother I like your video 😀
Bravo, you are a professional. Hello, I am also a photographer. Tell me please? For photos and videos, which is better SONY XPERIA PRO-I or SONY XPERIA 1V? Thank you very much in advance.
You should consider the new 300mm from Sony with the x2 converter it is f5.6 not f4 but half the price.
Brother why don't you making the relaxing nature video's ❤. I'm waiting for so long for your video's ❤
I’m all for nature and calm stuff!
I just felt like doing something new for this video, because going to the Kando Trip was pretty far from calm!😆
Cheers
@@ollenilssonendo what ever video you want to do, we will be fine 😊
@@eike.zender thanks for that! Really appreciate it🙏🏻
@@ollenilssonenI also enjoy the calm nature videos, but I love any video you create! ❤ keep up the amazing content!
how do you film and take pictures in both time?
Drömglugg! ❤
Jaa😭
Bro where do you live that you get houses for 14k :D
Anyways great video and thanks for getting me more motivated to go out and shoot again :)
Haha a larger tent maybe😂
Glad to hear that, happy weekend buddy!
I'm gonna try to convince my wife to sell the house so I can buy this setup.. Dang this is awesome!😍
Nilsson, Please make your video with ratio 21:9 wide.
Because I love your photography. You're my photography idol. I want to feel your photography about full ratio with my Xperia 1ii🥹❤️🩹❤️🩹
Love from Bangladesh 🇧🇩
The bigger lenses make the 200-600 look so small in comparison. I thought it was a 70-200 or 100-400
Haha it’s actually funny how small it looks
Not going to lie after that "Lets be honest, who can pay that amount of money for a lens like that..." i expected a shot of you and the lens you just bought :D Good video and conclusion: Gear doesnt matter at all. I upgraded from my a6000 to a a7iii and the first thing that changed was the weight im carrying with me. I felt betrayed, because my shots were not getting better. However, ISO definately was a huge difference and helps when not having the best of the best lenses.
> best to increase skill is time. Waste time as much as possible and also FAIL! I made so many mistakes that are not stuck in my head and i barely do them again.... barely... :)
Also I wished Sony would invite me as a no name, to those eventsm, they seem to be quiet fun!
This is my wildlife setup - let me know the next time you're in the NYC area!
Please test the Samsung galaxy 23....(not the ultra version) .....it is quite a capable one..... please
I love this setup, but kept my 200-600 as a travel lens. 😊
That’s awesome!
There was a timer, but with your calmness I felt totally relaxed.
I've tried this combo once, but I mean, it's not the weight, it's the swing that make it harder to move.
I'm gonna stay happy with my 200 600, a wildlife masterpiece.
finely im not the only one that eats flowers and leavs
I have the setup, no regrets. My 200-600mm stays at home 99% of the time.
That’s a sick setup mate. Congrats!
U should go to papua, and capture the bird of paradise
the thumbnail gave me mr.beast vibes ahahaha
Haha had fun making it a ”youtubey” thumbnail 😂

You get a House for just 14K in sweden?
No not really 😂
Add a 0 at the end and we’re closer. But you can find small summer houses for those money haha
its crazy what a lens can cost yet they still have limitations but my god that thing is sharp.
Sony: where is my firmware update for my A1??? and A7S3??? cheaper sony bodies have features that my $8,000.00US working A1 doesn't have... C'mon sony.
Can’t say I don’t agree with ya! I hope they’ll keep them updated
