    This will be a great reintroduction. I haven't messed with mine for a couple of years. I think this step by step video is great. Since you're on Kraftwerk, how about Trans Europe Express and Numbers except with the "Warning" sample for lyrics?

    Broo, this is actually great. How did you got to aknowledge how to tune and to write every pattern of a song?

      I wish I could say that I’m a genius musician who picks it all out by ear but the truth is I have to do a lot of research. I listen to the original track and watch live performances if available. Sometimes I use tabs or sheet music if available. Other times I’ll watch someone else’s cover to figure out the notes. It’s never the same each time. However, those are just starting points because I still like to do my own version of the song. Once I have the notes I just sketch out the sequences using the Song Maker tool in Chrome Music Lab. It’s a program for kids but if I can’t make it work in there I know it won’t work on the volca. And that’s just half the battle. The real challenge and interest for me is to actually do it on the volca. That just comes from knowing the instrument real well and creative problem solving. Every song poses a new challenge and that’s partly why I haven’t gotten bored with this yet lol. However, it is a lot of work and the main reason why I can only manage about 1 a month now.

    Is this possible on the sample 1 ? Trying in vane to change the note in the base PART, I guess this is not possible with the Sample 1.....

    • @jumpwav
      @jumpwav  3 місяці тому

      It is a bit tricky but both Samples are capable of note value changes according to the manual. However, they have different samples and the samples I use in this video will likely not align to those on the original. Hopefully that helps! ✌️
