    I was utterly lucky to coach by Christella in 2009 while I was transitioning I'm so so grateful for the help she gave me. Those days I have no issue whatsoever with my feminine voice, sounding so natural. Since her coaching nobody ever questioned if I was born female or not. Yes the coaching lessons aren't cheap, though they remain affordable, but I'll never ever regret the investment. Thank you so so much Christella

      Nice video content! Excuse me for the intrusion, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried - Gonameron Voice Vicariousness (probably on Google)? It is a great exclusive guide for learning how to achieve a passable feminine voice in the next 30 Days without the hard work. Ive heard some great things about it and my mate at very last got excellent results with it.

    I sing from Bssso Profondo to Soprano range in any language and am able to imitste anyone's voice, accent etc speaking or singing without ever having attended any speach therapist or done any surgery on vocal chords. But I practice every day since I was a child. Greetings. PS: your first demos seem the same ones of Yeson voice surgery clinic.

    Great App .The material covered is what you would expect from a leading specialist Consultant, high quality at a fraction of the cost of a one to one Consultation,
    which you could follow up with at a later date if so desired.

      Thank you for your comments! The purpose of the app was definitely to offer high quality therapy in a very accessible way. In line with the stages of voice development I wanted to produce three apps for the beginning, middle and advanced stages, to offer a fully comprehensive system that will support clients to reach their goals. The app can be used in isolation and also alongside clients who are having speech and language therapy for voice modification. I really hope you find it useful.
      Christella

    Moving on to stage two of the app has challenged me more but also increased my understanding and awareness of what is required.
    It has been built in a logical and progressive way without becoming overly technical.
    To me the proof that it is effective is that I am prepared to put the practice in, so much so that I can't put the app down.
    When you get positive results that others have told me they can hear the changes in my voice it is also a great motivator.
    Looking forward to the next step and stage three of the app. Great app.

      They are women. And kind words can do a lot. But being honest is more important for feedback in situations like these. There seems to be missing some focus from Christella on her clients breath and weight to compensate for the pitch. I would highly recommend ua-cam.com/video/gZWQ7MICbDY/v-deo.html to Christella to learn some more in depth knowledge that she can pass on to her clients. I wish all of you the best.
      _And sorry, i know i sound a bit strict. But there is nothing worse for someone going through transitioning than having your time wasted further than it already is by the health care system for trans people_

      Great that you’ve been inspired to be an SLP. There is always room for specialist clinicians in this field. As trans voice is often not a part/ large part of SLP/T training, I devised a course called ‘Working with Transgender & Gender Diverse Voice’ (available via the website ). Good luck with your endeavours! Christella

    Personally speaking, objectively not subjectively, the thing that most convinces me in day to day interactions with people of gender is voice. Ive met trans people whose voice is the opposite of their gender, my mind thinks them of that gender. When Ive met a trans person whose voice matches their their gender my mind thinks of them as that gender. I have no subjective proof of this or if this is common at all. And in my mind it doesnt lessen how I think of trans people being their gender. I fully appreciate them being who they are. I just wanted to point out that the vocal change very much helps my mind see the trans person for who they are. I realize its just part of my ape brain recognizing and dealing with the world. But it seems an important part of the initial acceptance. At least for me. So i see changing voice is an important part of people accepting who you are on initial contact. But it in no ways means anything less of anyone. You be you. Everyone else is taken.

      Hi Hannah, sorry for the delayed reply. I would certainly recommend using the app as a low cost starting point for addressing your concerns around you voice. Alternatively however please do take a look at my website www.christellaantoni.co.uk and we may be able to help you address these difficulties via our Antoni Method Voice Feminisation program.

    Ya, that's my problem, sustaining stability. I'm a lyricist and i can very easy make my voice Sound really lady like nice, but it flips back like an instant switch if some transgender hating nut gives me an evil glance, or if i get an internal character change from worrying when that will happen next. I get a little stronger from day to day usually, but goodness gracious, it sure do seem to be forever and a dogs day! Maybe it's childhood trauma? They seem to ATTACK Me from the inside out.

      A little guidance though a voice programme with a voice specialist will help support you through the process . Voice Change is usually best achieved through a staged process with support to also help confidence grow as well as stamina. Ultimately, this can help a person with voice concerns feel more comfortable socially . Best wishes, Christella

    I thought you had to spend thousands of pounds on having an operation on your voice box cords to raise the pitch of your voice to have a female voice as a trans female?

    • @daviniarobbins9298
      @daviniarobbins9298 4 роки тому

      My voice can reach male alto if I am singing and there is a female singer. I don't know why but for some reason I end up matching the singers voice. The only problem is I can't keep it up and I need a female singing to reach that high. If I am singing the song along without the music playing I will sing at my normal voice. I find it impossible to sing in bass though, just can't get my voice that low.

    • @daviniarobbins9298
      @daviniarobbins9298 4 роки тому

      The thing is though that while I would like to have a voice that sounds female I don't want to end up sounding like a Graham Norton or any gay sounding typical man.

      The majority of clients achieve at least a well feminised or at least a reasonably feminised voice without the need for voice feminization surgery. Voice feminization surgery is carried out to achieve pitch elevation. Pitch is an important marker for distinguishing between male and female voices. However, it is just one aspect and pitch elevation alone is not usually enough to achieve a female voice. Many other aspects of voice such as intonation are important for voice feminization and these aspects need to be learnt and practiced to achieve natural and authentic sounding voice.
      From clinical observation, it appears that in the U.K, approximately 20 % of male to female individuals in the U.K may seek voice feminization surgery.
      My clinical observations over 20 years working with pre and post voice feminisation surgeries have strongly indicated to me that the individuals who have better pitch and voice outcomes with voice feminisation surgery are theses individuals who have first had a course of Speech & Language Therapy.. This is because the muscles involved in voice change have already adapted prior to surgery which supports the surgery and prevents the pitch dropping or changing after surgery. In addition, pitch surgery cannot address other aspects of female voice and communication such as intonation and speech style features. Prior to deciding to proceed to voice feminization surgery, the client should have undergone a pre-surgical assessment with an e SLT and an ENT Consultant.

      Hi Freya - really sorry you feel the app hasn't lived up to your expectations. Stage 1 is the beginners stage and the model thats demonstrated has helped hundreds of clients. It sells for £24.99 so the equivalent price in dollars would be around $30.00 so not sure why you have paid $60.00 dollars.?? Stages 2 and 3 are in development now so not too far away from being available. The stages correspond to the the stages of voice skill development - beginners =, intermediate and advanced as thats the way voice change tends to happen - through a guided process. best wishes, Christella Antoni
