- Welp, this day didn't go according to plan. With some new parts on the bike, I was hoping to get a full day of testing, but unfortunately a rookie mistake ended my day on the third lap of my second session.
While the damage to the bike was minimal, I did pull a bunch of muscles in my right leg, making it difficult to walk and move around on the bike. Will I still race during the weekend? Stay tuned to find out!

I always wondered what was out there above the tarmac of the Riverside turn! Thanks for sharing, glad you are okay! Guess I'll plan on jumping off before the fence if I ever venture out there!

Ouch Chad that sucks. The bike sounded great too, pulling stronger out of corners and revving out much faster. Luckily you didn't get hurt too badly. Best of luck out there next time.

Hi Chad, I am so sorry that you had your accident but I can understand only too well how it happened and I have done similar things myself.
It is amazing how much ground you can cover in such a short time when you are distracted.
You were going so well up until the crash.
Glad that the bike did not get too much damage but not so good for the rider.
Only ride if you feel you can safely control the bike, if not there are many more days left for riding in the future.
I am sure that you will make the right call.

Might be worth blanking or removing the lap timer and just looking at lap times and over lays back in the pits 🤷

I think I only got distracted because I wasn't checking it on the front straights like I usually do, The new gearing had me focused on the tach to avoid hitting the limiter on the front straight as I adapted to the bike's new gearing.
That fence is a fucking joke no colors or anything to let you know it’s there , although you should’ve slowed down way faster and not grabbed all clutch and down shifted through that
It would have been nice if it was more visible for sure. I didn't use the front brakes because I was in the dirt on slick tires, and can tell you from experience that if the dirt is soft, the second you go for the brakes the front is going to lock and you're going down. I didn't see the fence and figured I had more time to stop so didn't think it was worth the risk.
Looks like ABS might have screwed you over there.
This bike does not have ABS.
