Hahaha I think I was the arrow guesser. But I was hoping against hope that it was a NEW arrow. Now that I think about it, I don't think there are any other arrow options for the SFV4S, but ah well. Good life here, Bill. 👍
The newer arrow is a little more tucked in. But stay tuned, there's something new on the way!
Obviously a fantastic collection of bikes, but that V2 is a bit of a stunner! Your very lucky to have some great tracks to ride on, here in the UK we have some pretty good circuits, but unfortunately they are governed with very strict noise levels. On some tracks even the new Fireblabe with the standard exhaust would have trouble passing the pre-track noise testing.
Yea we have some tracks, laguna, where that's the case as well. Fortunately, California has a ton of remote locations perfectly suited for a track where no one whines about noise 😁

Had a fun time out there in learning 13 cw. It's far bumpier in cw rotation, it seems. I can understand why people call it bumpywillow. Corner exit on sunset AND offramp both have a couple bumps that had it stepping out under power. I wonder how many low-sides happen in those spots. Nice caliphotography shots on the wheelie bump, btw! :p
Yea we definitely prefer it ccw since you avoid majority of the bumpy bits. Hope that they'll give that track some love soon. Starting to get pretty sketchy.

On track with our power rs / power gp 30/19 cold +5 to hot 35/24. Adjust as needed for ambient temp and pace.

believe it or not, the 2022 bmw s1000R is actually faster off the line, for the first 60mph, than the 2022 bmw s1000rr due to the fact that the s1000r has more torque from 1st gear :)
I think it's faster up to 100 !

I'm curious about what I see as a technique you use that I am not familiar with (note: I'm not an expert lol). It seems rather than braking hard late before a turn you instead downshift as you approach a turn and rely on engine braking. If I'm correct in my observation I'd appreciate a comment on why you use this technique (Note I fully admit I have minimal track experience and am solely just curious). thx :)
Stabbing brakes is really not the greatest approach to getting your bike stopped. We prefer the longer smoother braking approach. Of course, we're far from perfect and use probably a lot more engine braking than we should.
Did I miss the modded dyno numbers for the s1kr?
Didn't get around to doing it yet sorry.
