The Italian renaissance was one of the high points in human civilization. Absolutely extraordinary human beings producing extraordinary art - the like of which the world may never again witness. And this series (including the music) has been a beautiful and fitting tribute to that marvellous period.
Italian renaissance is a bit like greece in antiquity. Cities living in a state of rivalry, intrigues, trade and mutual agreements. But unlike antic greece, it didn't really stood up against imperialism, it was too much surrounded. When Greece pushed back achemenid empire and later on was agglomerated under the rule of macedonians after civil war struggles. Italian renaissance is pretty close, but the surrounding empires were pretty much too strong to let it have an imperialist burst itself. It's what Mussolini desperatly tried to realise 4 centuries later. I didn't think about it that way, but indeed italian quattrocentro is a peak in civilisation. As antic Egypt, antic Greece, and France 19th aswell in my opinion.

Make this vision all brand new
We can fight them
I can say that I can win it all
Come with me and
I will make my worst untold
Let me do this
I am here
To rejoice
To revenge
To resolve
To be longed for
To be longed for
I am here (if you want this)
To rejoice (if you want this)
To revenge
To resolve
To be longed for
To be longed for
I am here
I am here
Sometimes I justify the words I spill
Like secret angels they test your will
Outside my troubles are over
But in your eyes the melody is frozen
It's not "worst untold" but "world stand tall".
@@GiuseppePipia I think it might be "I will make my words stand tall"?
She is indeed a master. What a beautiful voice, clear notes. A gift
I love Skin, have been a fan since I was around 10 years old. Her voice is legendary. So gorgeous.
Well balanced music : rock and medevial like background voices with Skin : Bravo !!
Everytime I listen to this beautiful piece of music, I certainly imagine being transported to that period of time in Florence and Renaissance.
It resonates with the art, culture and the historic personalities brilliantly.
"We owe you a great deal Medici... without your help, we never would have flourished"
This is one of the most beautiful songs in the world. I hope all Medici soundtracks will ever be available. Because the music from the Medici is so beautiful, everyone should be able to hear it.
THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SONG. TOUCH MY HEART AND MY SOUL. 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
Questa canzone è pura poesia! Fa venire i brividi ad ascoltarla... è questa la bellezza della musica!
One of the best series ever, with fantastic soundtrack 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Belleza de serie y musica !!! Grandes actores !!!!!!!!!❤
Wow, what a mesmerizing collaboration between Paolo Buonvino and Skin! "Renaissance" truly embodies the spirit of the Medici Masters of Florence TV series. The hauntingly beautiful melody, combined with Skin's powerful and emotive vocals, creates a captivating and immersive musical experience. The composition effortlessly transports the listener to the opulent world of the Medici family, evoking a sense of intrigue, passion, and artistic brilliance....
Bravo to both artists for crafting such a masterpiece that perfectly complements the visual storytelling of the series. This song is a true Renaissance in itself, leaving us yearning for more.
Thank you for sharing this exceptional piece of music with us!

She literally made me love the show😍😍😍😍😍
I've recently become so obsessed with Italian renaissance. This show and song transports you to a time and place in history that is unmatched. Truly fascinating and captivating in every way. I only wish the show had kept going or that there would be more productions on this time period. Medici did a wonderful job of making it a show I could stomach due to gore. I want more music of this nature!
Thank you! Greetings from Florence ❤
Magnifica canzone per una "magnifica" serie. Ho amato la prima e sto amando la seconda. W la nostra Storia!

Same, I was just around 10 when I've heard Skunk Anansie and ever since then I've been in love with her voice. I was studying singing until adult life happened and she was a role model for me.
