Watching your podcast is like having a good friend visiting me 🥰 Thank you 🌻
Awww. Thank you. ❤️
Amber, I am amazed at the things cardiologists can do for patients these days. My almost 6 year old great nephew was born with multiple defects. He's doing great. Between the advancements in technology and your deep faith, you will find answers. They may not be the ones you want, but to have them now is better than letting the questions bother you. And don't worry about not responding. Unless I ask a direct question, I don't need one. I wish you well. And I wish you peace. Keep making.
That blush pink color is PERFECTION on you, Amber!
Thank you for the inspiration. Praying for your health questions to be answered and treated successfully.
Prayers going to the throne room for you, your Dr., nurses, and care staff, and your family. You’ve already got the victory in Christ!!! Love you, Amber, and we’ll see you when you’re up to it!!
Thank you so much for the encouragement, Tamara!
Stay grounded my friend. - you are going to be fine! Your podcast is my safe place and I look forward to spending time with you whether it’s chatting or knitting related. Thank you so much for your precious time. Just keep in your heart how much all of us are praying for good health.❤
Thank you for your encouraging words, Pam. ❤️
Thanks for the great podcast. Nice knitting. Take care
The Ankrr T Shirt looks so good on you. The socks look good well because it is blue. The Felix Pullover looks good with long sleeves. I also like the gloves. Phillipians 4 verse 6 is for you. Take care ❤😊
I love how the tweedy Felix is coming on, it's really pretty. You are going through a lot at present. I hope everything goes well with your heart monitor and they can get to the reason that it's happening. Sending you hugs. 😘
Thank you so much!
I feel at home watching you Amber! I thought you were going to mention Punxsutawney Phil's prediction of an early spring!Beatrix Potter is a favorite of mine as well. Peace and Blessings to you and your family this lovely spring, from Maryland 🌻🧶
Hi Amber, I got that Beatrix Potter book for my best friend for her birthday last June and she loved it. 😊I just knew she would!
Hang in there Amber! God will take care of you and get you through this health crisis. I have a pacemaker now and it works 96% of the time. But I’ve already lived more than my three score and ten and I’m so thankful for that. 😊
Thank you for your encouragement, Cassandra!
Purls Before Thyme only has 14 videos, so I assume she is fairly new. I will watch her after this video. 💜☺️🦋 You seem much lighter is spirit today. Spring seems to be your season. Much love and hugs during this crazy time you are dealing with. 😊
Hi! I’m a brand new knitter still just knitting practice swatches and using a beginner pattern to do the rows. I’ve just started going to a knitting group. I live in the Pittsburgh area. I love your videos. I’m inspired!
Your podcast is a favorite of mine. I so look forward to watching as soon as you upload it. I did purchase the yarn you used to add into your Felix. I have gray yarn for another one I will make & will add the multi-color yarn to it. That pattern is a great one to make. Praying for your upcoming surgery to add the monitor. Rest in the peace and comfort of our Lord. ❤
Thank you so much for the prayers. Are you going to use the gray and tweed yarn to make a Felix?
Thank you so much for your lovely shout out 🌼. I'm based in Norway and have lived here most of my life but my parents are French and South African which explains the accent. Your projects are so gorgeous, your podcast is so calming, love it 🌷
Ah, yes that explains it. Thank you for watching. I look forward to watching more of your episodes.
Always appreciate your podcast. Praying for peace as you walk through the next few days. The Lord is your shepherd, you have all that you need.
Thank you!
Hey Amber, I always enjoy your podcasts. Have knit many of the same patterns as you. On the subject of charts, please remember that everyone learns and comprehends differently. Some people may not be intimidated by charts but find them uncomfortable or maybe even impossible to use. One thing I learned from teaching kids with learning issues is that everyone's brain is not wired the same and learning/reading/comprehension styles can be very different.
Hi Kathy! Yes, you're absolutely right about learning styles! I just wouldn't want someone to feel intimidated by a chart and not give it a go. They may really like chart reading once they tried it. That was my experience. I shied away from charts for the longest time because I was intimidated by them. Now it's my preferred way to knit. Thank you for watching!
Lovely episode!! Purls before Thyme, a new podcaster to me, thank you for the tip! I watched 1 episode, right after watching your podcast, it is the episode of 21st of January of this year, where she talks about Nutiden yarn. She told her watchers she lives in Norway. Personally I don't hear an accent, but maybe that is because I'm from Europe too (The Netherlands).
I love Clementine patterns!
marta mcdowell also wrote gardening books related to emily dickinson's life and frances hogdson burnett's life - they are both wonderful reads.
I’m also doing the 1000 Hours Outside! I only know of one other adult doing it too. I started in early September, I got as many hours as possible over the winter (Wisconsin) but I have a lot of hours to make up this spring and summer. I’d love for you to update your progress on your podcast. Praying for your health!
Always wonderful to visit with you, Amber. Hugs!! :)
Hang in there, Amber!!❤
Oh Amber... Please do tell us all your Drops Belle Pattern ideas. I have so much Drops Belle and need ideas for summer tops. Yeah for the Ankers Tee. That is a good idea. Thank you....
Have u seen the movie Miss Potter? Rene Zellweger played Beatrix. I loved it.
I have not, but you reminded me that I want to see it! I completely forgot about that movie.
Hugs and prayers. Always look forward to your UA-cam videos.
Thank you so much!
So glad you love your needle stoppers and barber chords!!! Our Advent swap was so so fun!!!!
It was fun!
Hi Amber! No worries on not responding to comments, you have a lot on your mind. The sweater is gorgeous with the make it tweed yarn. Keeping you in my prayers. 🩷🌷🌸🌻🌹🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thank you, Catherine.
Drops Belle is on sale at Wool Warehouse in England. Shipping is reasonably priced to the US and arrives in a week. I'm getting some to make the Anker Tee.
Yes! I noticed that when I was putting the link in the video description. I have ordered from Wool Warehouse multiple times and am always suprised by how quickly they ship things out.
Hello from Swansea, Illinois.
Hi Amber: love your podcasts; always relaxing and enjoyable. Yes, I also buy embroidery patterns and even thread, that are sitting in my drawer in my sewing room. My patterns are either Brazilian embroidery or cross stitch. So much to do, so little time. 😊
Hi Alice. I also enjoy cross stitch. You are right. We have a lot of creative energy and ideas and not enough time to get them all done!
I’m knitting my first Felix sweater because of your influence. I’m using 1 strand of Nutiden with Mohair with size 9 needles because it produced the fabric I wanted…also because of you! I’m loving it and it is going fast so maybe I can still wear it before the end of winter. I’m new to MI and just found an Alpaca and sheep farm about an hour east of me AND she has a fiber mill. I took a spinning class there and it got me back into spinning and I’m spinning for socks. I’m taking an Advanced Spinning class in April. God has greatly blessed our move to MI,
Hi Nancy. That sounds like it's going to be a wonderful Felix! How fun that you have a sheep farm close to you! Enjoy all of your spinning. I need to get back to spinning too!
Your podcast was wonderful!
You might want to watch Jeri Landers of Hopalong Hollow. She lives in Tennessee, she has created gardens using Beatrix Potters ideas. She is very talented.
May your health keep improving!!!
Hi Nancy! I've been watching Jeri's videos for several years now! They are dlightful and so inspiring!
Please do it worry about not responding to comments. You have much going on, and I think you give your viewers more than you realize. I am very thankful for you 😊
That is so very kind of you to say. Thank you.
Amber you are in my prayers every day. I know you are in God's hands - He is in control and holding you close. Sending love, hugs and prayers for complete healing. ❤️ 🥰🙏
Thank you so much, Maria. You are so incredibly kind. I appreciate you. ❤️
@@alovelyyarn 🥰🥰🥰
Thankyou Amber for another lovely podcast. Embroidery - one of your charts reminded me so much of a picture my mother did when she was young - maybe more than 80 years ago - that I though I’d try it but I’m no embroiderer. Then you said you weren’t either and that has inspired me to have a go. You are in my prayer book and I ask for God’s blessing on you and your family. Xx
❤morning Amber!!!🎉🎉
Glad ur dr looking after you!!!!
Love ur mitts!!!!wow!!!!so pretty!!
And socks!! 🧦
Take care!!!westher here in southern Ontario been smazing too😊
Elaine 😂always thinking of you!!!!
Thank you Elaine!
Amber your finishes and wipes are wonderful as always….love the sweater……have fun with embroidery I love switching out my creations…..blessings to you on your up coming procedure…..❤️
Thank you, Rhonda!
Love seeing you again. Im happy that you will have a heart monitor. My bff’s daughter has been wearing one and they have gotten such good feedback. You are like me with letting the mind go down dangerous rabbit holes of gloom and doom. I have tried to stop, and am getting a little stronger in my resistance. I think of you often, and hope you are doing better each day. The better weather and getting outdoors will help your head clear to make more room for happy thoughts. Love to you, Brad, and your children. ❤
Hi Amber. I loved seeing your projects. I ordered the tweed and discovered it comes from Carlisle Pennsylvania. We stayed there last year while visiting Gettysburg. I thought that was a fun little coincidence.
Hi Sabrina! Yes, that Etsy shop is in PA
It was lovely to watch your podcast and doubly awesome to see your Clementine patterns! I grew up with the family that makes them and it's so fun to see them in your hands!
Oh that's so fun!
Yay! I just opened up UA-cam and this made me so happy. I’m going to have a great knitting break now.❤
I adore Beatrix Potter! Her watercolor fungi are exceptional. Your Comfort Felix looks amazing with the tweedy yarn. Blessings!
There is a Beatrix Potter movie about her life on Netflix, really good! Rene Zellweger plays Beatrix Potter.
It's always a joy to catch up with you and your knitting, Amber! It was inspiring to hear of your Instant Pot and knit socks bartering exchange! How neat! Thank you for all your time and effort dedicated to these videos!
Thank you for watching, Hannah.
Amber, thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and your knits. I don’t watch many podcasts because I get overwhelmed but I really look forward to yours!!
What size did you knit in the anker summer shirt? I have this in my ravelry cart and it’s on my wishlist.
That make it tweed is giving Noro Madara vibes and I love how it looks in the Felix ❤❤❤
Thanks, Kaci.
Love all your projects. You feel like home watching you ❤️
Awww. Thank you so much.
I loved seeing all of your crafty projects that are bringing you joy! Those embroidery patterns are so pretty, too! I can definitely relate to having good intentions when buying crafts and then not following through 😅 hehe anyway it was great getting an update from you and will continue to pray for you in this journey, especially with the procedure coming up! Much love & prayers, friend 💛
I ordered that OPAL yarn from your last podcast that you made for the insta pot trade. I haven't cast on yet but it is a very pretty color. I am not a person who does multiple projects simultaneously. Once in a while I have a sock as a mindless knit in the background but I've been doing so many mindless sweaters that I haven't needed more. I'd be a very boring podcaster!
Haha.
👋from WNY...yes, beautiful weather today.🌞
I love the tweed added to your Felix Pullover.
I am curious as to how the yellow/mustard Hobby Lobby yarn has held up in your Felix Cardigan from awhile back. I believe it was an acrylic/hemp blend. I have considered making one in green.
Hello! It has held up really great! I wear that cardi quite a bit. I should circle back around on that and give a little update about that.
Love your sweater, your socks and the wingmits!
Have a great week!
Thank you.
It says on Elise’s channel that she is in Norway
Love the moth mitts! The tweed yarn looks so great in your sweater. Praying your procedure goes well.
Thank you, Denise.
As usual, love the sweater and the socks! I don’t know anything about the procedure you’re going to have but it sounds like a good preventative for something worse?? I had a heart attack. I think it’s been nine or 10 years already. Just thought I was having problems breathing. But it was 99% blocked. Anyway, having to stand putting in your heart was really nothing for me and you go home the next day feeling wonderful. It would’ve been better to have known there was a problem so I could prepare. Oh well, that’s life. Thanks for sharing.❤
Hi Kathie! It's a heart monitor that they are implanting on my chest, under my skin. It will monitor for heart rhythm 24/7 and give the doctor more data.
I'm so glad that you felt such an improvement after your stent placement. I think everything feels bigger to me because I do struggle with health anxiety. I tend to do a lot of worst case scenario thinking.
@@alovelyyarn praying for you to have peace! Philippians 4:6,7
🙏🙂Also wanted to add that I am praying for you as you have the monitor implanted. May the Lord give you his peace during this time.
Thank you so much.
My husband and one of my sons wear size 12 shoes and my other son wears 13. I haven't knit any of them socks (none of them have asked!)
Oh wow! Yeah, those would be some big socks!
Your husband and I are birthday buddies :)
Love the moth mitts! Can I ask what bind off you used?
Thank you! I just did a regular bind off in pattern.
Do you keep a Raverly account with notes esp your felix
may i ask what size did you knit for the ankers summer shirt?
What kind of beautiful spinning wheel do you have behind you?
Hello! It is an Ashford Traveller.
my goodness that moth is everything. Perhaps it will scare away any real live moths from your woolens!!
Hi Amber sounded like you are having a loop recorder implanted. I am the biggest chicken had it done like 6 years ago. Believe me it is not bad at all. Just need to tell person checking going through security at airport. The cardiologist told me when battery died you can just leave there it will cause no harm. If I wanted he would remove it. I said so long as no problem just leave it. It is so tiny no stitches at all you won’t even realize there.
Hi! Yes! That's what I'm having implanted. Thank you for this insight and encouragement. That helps to know that it's not a big deal. They don't even use stitches???
@@alovelyyarn no stitches just a band aid over it. It is very tiny. Good luck don’t stress over it. Cathy
