Thank you so much for your videos. Currently in the weaning process. I have done the same. I stopped day feeds and just keep the ones at night. He’s teething and soon going to daycare. It breaks my heart to think he won’t have the boob but he will have me and all my love and comfort to give to him. Anyway! Thank you so much for this. I'm glad I just found your video this morning!!! My 5th is about to turn 1 and I want to stop breastfeeding because I want to start fertility treatments again (and you cannot breastfeed with this strong medication). My daughter has a huge bond with me and I'm scared of stopping 😅 but you gave me hope!!! Thanks!!!!
My daughter is the same age with Grayson and I was very tired of breastfeeding, in my own case people where advising me on stopping, the pediatrician as well, I thought weaning her would be the hardest thing ever, but it was easier than I thought.

I have four children,i breastfeed them on till year 3months..First to 3 but last one is 1and half year and am finding it difficult to stop her because she's love breastmilk too much ,am happy to see ur channel thanks dear sis😘😘
Thank you for this video. I'm a new mom and my baby is about to turn 1, and just like you I think I'm tired. It has been a wonderful journey. I initially planned to breastfeed for 4 months but the benefits of breastfeeding kept me going and I'm so grateful I did. I will definitely start gradually with the weaning.

I really appreciate this. My baby will be 1 in a few days and i am so ready for this journey to end bc I am tired and im ready to have my body and my life back. Im ready to be able to enjoy family outtings etc. Shes currently is teething so I feel like itll be hard especially with night time feedings. She wakes up a few times a night still. Heiii, thank you for all the advice you gave us❤ my son he will soon turn 3 and he is obsessed with boobs ( I don’t even have milk anymore) but he is still sucking like crazy days and nights. When i say no it’s enough he lose it and makes crazy tantrums 😮 I’m a bit hopeless i really have it enough and can’t find the way to stop. Plus I’m pregnant with second baby and would really like to enjoy breastfeeding process with her like i did with my son when he was baby 🙏🏻💖🍀 i will try very hard with what you said and hopeee it will work 🤞🏻💪🏻 the scariest will be night times because we co-sleep and he ask for breast couple of times per night 😬🫠it is really nice for all of your mamas to share and support each other ❤❤❤

I really needed this. I've been trying to stop breastfeeding my 1 year old coupled with the fact that I'm pregnant. The stress is taking a toll on me and I'm always in and out of the hospital. I'll try these tips and hopefully they work.

@@amrita6038I had this same issue when I was 8 months pregnant with my second my first was 20 months 😅 he refused until we tried the Haka bottle! It's designed similar to a boob lol after that he took his milk

The same thing happened to us this week. We started weaning and it seemed like there was a light at the end of the tunnel but then the baby got very cranky and inconsolable. He was teething and then he caught a cold. Back to the beginning we go. How long did the wait to start again after you realized he was teething?
Thanks so much. This was helpful. I’m planning to stop breastfeeding at 1. But I am little worried my baby will not have enough food choices. He has animals milk allergies along with eggs and cheese!!! So I need to be creative about his food intake.
So during the day il just keep covering it with coffee so i dnt breastfeed daytime only 9t time. Gonna do so for a week then remove day n 9t. God bless u for these tips n this helpful video of encouragement ❤

I’m going through the weaning process at the moment. We’re down to just nap time and bedtime which I know are the biggest ones. He’s 2 on Wednesday so I know he’ll understand what’s happening, and I know he’ll struggle with it but I’ve been holding off any potty training so that we can successfully wean and then focus onto the next challenge. I’m committed to weaning but I’m not so committed to potty training!! Not yet lol

Hi there.... We have successfully dropped even the night feeds, it was quite difficult but I would also ask my husband to be the one who puts her to sleep by rocking her and then at night when she wakes up we will rock her to sleep. So that's how we did it and she now sleeps through the night without nursing. For now just wait till baby is better and then resume, I know it's hard mommy, hang in there....

Hello, my son just turned 3 today. I have a 3 month old baby girl. I’m so sick of breastfeeding my son. He’s been the hardest. Refused a bottle and only wanted breast. My baby (3month old) sleeps better and longer than my son! He wakes and wants to nurse but I tell him no! I’m so sick of it lol thank you for the tips I already don’t nurse during the day and sometimes not during the night but he’ll wake randomly in the middle of the night wanting to nurse ugh lol

Sometimes my 1 year old refused to breastfeed and rather drink water from a sippy cup to go to bed and my son is the one latched on ready to go to bed lol 😩

That’s funny. I have a 6 year old,3 year old and a 14 month old. All breastfed. My 6 year old I stopped breastfeeding him at 2 1/2, my first daughter 1 1/12 and I’m trying to wean my 14 now! I’m honestly not ready and I know she’s not of course. But I feel like I may need to because I’ll have to work soon and I feel a little bit of pressure from others. Yes you will miss all the breastfeeding. I get it's hard. But at least you had a time of breastfeeding. Your children are growing up and they will someday be adults. It's amazing children grow up so fast.
I wanted to continue breastfeeding till 2 as well, but my baby is torturing my nipples with those little teeth. It bothers me how much I don’t look forward to it now. I will miss the closeness.

I’m 10 weeks pregnant now and I have 16 months old baby still breastfeeding. 😢 it’s really hard to stop him specially at night. He will wake up 2-3 times just to breastfeed 😫😢 I don’t know what to do to stop him from breastfeeding. 😞 it’s hard for me because it’s my first trimester I feel weak and exhausted.

I am struggling 😭, i want to wean her but again I'm scared not only for her but for myself too. I'v had to deal with mastitis and severe breast engorgement when she didnt suck for like a whole day-2days and the thought of possibly going through that again plus the rejection of food and cries i might get from her is quite scary. We stay just by ourselves...family is far far away from us and my partner alos lives far from us meaning I'll have to go through this all lone. Shes 14months and why i want to stop breastfeeding her is because she's refused any type of food, she's loosing weight and still only wants to suck. Its draining me and her as well. Try placing chilled cabbage peels on the breast overnight for few days nd watch d magic
If you’re still in the stage of weaning do it gradually. This doesn’t let any engorgement happen so you just wean her off one session this week for example and then remove another feeding session the next week. Do not stop it all at once. Good luck❤️❤️

Im so overwhelmed qnd stressed😢my baby she would scream i mean its so bad that i get nervouse my neighbors thinks im abusing my baby. Im writing this as im so emotional. I stopped breastfeeding my baby due to similar reasons when he was 17 months and I regretted it coz he lost so much weight and still didn't want to eat. That was my 1st baby and now I'm so nervous with my 2nd baby

I always pumped out my milk into bags and store in fridge until my milk dried out. Two about two weeks.

I am breastfeeding my 30 month old toddler. She is VERY attached to the “boobie”. She will not sleep without nursing. She wakes up over and over again during the night (we co-sleep). I am drained! Over it. I don’t want to feel upset, but I just don’t want to breastfeed anymore.
Same, same! my daughter is 27 months, we co-sleep and she is very attached. I just started working remotely a month ago and I go to school part time. It's gets very overwhelming. My husband takes care of her while I work, so for 8 hours I don't breastfeed and she eats food with him, but at night it's like she's starving lol. I have so many scabs on my boobs because she's very aggressive and she doesn't care where we are (especially at church). I give her regular milk but she has to be in the mood, sometimes she pushes it away. Whenever I think of weaning her I struggle a lot with guilt. I've tried putting aloe, the suckerbuster, on my nipples but she gets past the taste. I love bonding but I need my body back 😅
The struggle is real!!! My husband travels for weeks at a time. I feel so guilty trying to take away her comfort. Especially when she misses her “Dada”. This has become a form of torture. What started out as a beautiful, healthy bonding experience has become a routine that sometimes makes my skin crawl. Even saying this makes me feel bad. I am so overwhelmed with this struggle.

@dominiquetalley1199 It's going really well!! I worked myself up and stopped nursing the 1st of August, and she did so great!! It was me holding her back,really. I wasn't ready to let her go yet, but she stopped like a pro! I still haven't started my period yet, though, and no positive pregnancy results yet either.
@kgaogelomogano I know what you mean. I felt that same way. Cutting it little by little helped me so much, though! And, there is no pressure to stop nursing either. The only reason I stopped was so that I could get pregnant again. The time will come when you both feel ready to stop, and it'll all work out! I hope this helps ease that stress :)

I’ve been told putting a cabbage leaf in your bra dries it up. You can try that.
