Great review! Does this game have any difficulty modes? I played the demo and was a bit disappointed how incredibly easy the first levels were, though the last one was rather challenging. I'm also hesitant of upgrading the villagers, since doing that made some of the stages even easier. I think this kind of gameplay could really shine as long as the developers aren't afraid of giving a really tough challenge for the player.
smaller quicker drawings are a great idea =D I can't really think of another game quite like Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess myself, looks very interesting

I played the demo for about 5 hours, really enjoyed it. Definitely picking up the game when it comes out in a couple days. Nice drawing too 😊
