bleed op
I concur
shatterspleen is best girl change my mind
shatterspleen for the win
indeed
did you bleed before mr streamer? of course it is op
you play exclusively on monsoon until you need to beat mithrix for the first time :)
Lmaoooo
Lmao I thought about doing that but then I just said "oh wait, engineer exists."
I beated him for first time on moonson with loader smh
Mythrix is really gimmicky, generally less difficult to defeat than a surprise scavenger with the high ground.
He took my Dio's, procced it, then one shot me. THANKS IM NOT MAD AT ALL ;_;

Great comment, just a head's up Dio's is listed at 26:05 not 27:05.
CheesecakeMonkey22 thanks brudda
He forgot the actual best equipment in the game.
The Fuel Array.
How could he
technically it’s the only item that gives you a survivor so yes
Does having the fuel array and picking up a glass shard instakill you?
@@ifyourmarriedyourasimpanda7440 I don’t think so because it counts your total health(which is max health + max shield), using a shrine of blood however instantly detonates it
-(though in all honesty the hardest thing to unlocking rex is to get abyssal depths to spawn)-
-(no you don’t use bazaar to force it because you still have to save up for artificer)-
The Halcyon Seed is literally just the "Final Boss when you fight them vs. when you unlock them in your team" meme.
Mired Urn is F tier in multiplayer, you start stealing health from each other and slow each other down as well
I think hopoo are looking to change that in the next update
Some would argue that, that makes it S-Tier :)
@@mitios4590 You are an agent of chaos
Also on engineer, my turrets stole health from me and slowed me. Going near them was like asking to die
procs razors though so its good with engi
Fungus is good for one other thing: You're doing Void Fields stage 1 and need to heal between events.
Or ya just a engineer
also early blood shrines
@@wolfpupgaming5922 but we want to have fun XD
And *Medkit* is still better to have.
But yea, it's very good for blood shrines
I see it as free scrap lmao I mainly play merc.
When Woolie says "consistency", he means reliability^^
Woolie, the term you're looking for is "diminishing returns"
a note on chronobauble: the slow makes avoiding Mithrix's melee attacks easier by a bunch
and a note on Dio's best friend: it's slightly better on engineer because it gives your turrets a second life, but it gets outclassed by a brainstalks right away.
It's particularly good for engineer on the final boss, since stalks has no elites to proc off of. That ground pound aoe pretty much one shots the turrets, so getting them a second lease on life is really nice.
@@Trademark989 I wondered if the final boss dies does he use your dio? Or does he just give you back your items by then so it doesn't proc?
@@angelgutierrez9581 he revives but you get your shit back

@@rodbot you poor soul to have gone through that.
I've noticed Chronobauble being pretty effective on Mythrix, so that helps quite a bit with keeping him at a comfortable distance.
ESPECIALLY on Eclipse runs. 40% movement speed Mithrix is legit horrifying. Chrono is an item I always try to have for Eclipse runs.
Also rlly good for proccing death mark
Or be like me and hang on to a wall with loader with razor wire and hellfire tincture and stack medkits and slugs because I'm scurred
Just noticed this myself
@@alphabetsalphabets5242 that sounds like it's really effective
To back up Tougher Times, i had like 3 or so of them and in that level where you unlock Acrid, the Tougher Times bears were literally nullifying the damage you take when outside of the safe zones. God tier white item.
49:50 First time I got the Voodoo Doll, I ended up holding it for 8 minutes with 250+ uses. Daggers, Wisps, Fuel Cells, Gestures, and Soulbound Catalyst. I eventually discovered that the game will not let you deploy it after some number of uses per stage.
(Edit: this was after the 'nerf' that prevented infinite spamming of it.)
FUN FACT: Captain + Capped Bleed + Capped Crit + Shatterspleen = 16 bleeds per shot.

thanks for the great video. It’s really nice to see you still making risk of rain content and i have been watching sense the game came out.
scrap op, procs way too much and it scales proc chance and damage pls nerf hopoo
i agree, white scrap is the single most op item in the game, it has massive damage and can proc your other items, making it way too op. if you get it on stage 1 you know you are getting god run
@@CyCloNeReactorCore jokes aside, when you factor in the bug that's currently in the game where you can magically duplicate scrap at a cauldron, a single green scrap isn't that bad if you get a blue portal.

This happens once in a blue moon, but I love Forgive Me Please's interaction with Soulbound Catalyst (which rapidly reduces FMP's cooldown as it's an on-kill effect), throw in a Gesture or two and there are constantly 3 dolls on the floor proccing things. If you somehow manage to get all that + ceremonial knives, you can just go afk and your equipment plays the game for you
The fact that so many characters have a different play style makes this list more general rather than must takes, I would say aegis is top tear for rex but for most others its really not great, I still think its a great guide
Me: Mom can we have Headhunter?
Mom: We have Headhunter at home.
Headhunter at home: Wake of Vultures
Path of Exile
Idk why but Headhunter came into my mind just that time, saw the item so many times yet just tought about that now, both the effect and the appearance are identical
@Nextshot it's actuelly a refference to headhunter since some devs at hopoo are poe fans.
Still sane, exile?

Also Woolie: 9:44
Lmao yes, 15 minutes in stage 2.
@@kelvinferreira3767 no ten
Well double bands is worth it.
@@timothytosser288 Ngl, I would only bother going for the bands with a survivor like huntress, commando or mercenary, where you can just skip the barrier, or if you're later in a run and have high enough movement speed that you don't even need the dash. Otherwise, I wouldn't say that accruing up to 5-7.5 minutes extra just for two items, even if they are the bands, isn't worth it.
whenever you use one of rex's abilities that damages you, medkit will count that and heal back that damage.
AFTER a delay of not taking damage
If you want to minmax your DPS as REX, then the medkit will never really see much usage
@@sharethevoid121 I disagree, as you *will* eventually stop using your damaging moves, giving you that heal at the end. With say, 2 stacks that you forgot to scrap that's still at bare minimum a 10% heal when you pause.
Just had my 1st +1hr run thanks to you, Woolie! Your content on this game is the best I've found. Thanks!

@@donk8961 *galaxy brain*
Yeah, I love these tier lists and for the most part I agree with what he says but it's hard to rank an item in relation to their synergy with other items. I would easily put Forgive Me Please higher on the list simply for it's synergies. 3 fuel cells, maybe 5 of Wisp and Gasoline, and if you're fortunate, a Ceremonial dagger, will be enough to obliterate anything.
he did say "otherwise I'll make it A-tier or even S-tier if you have a tons of on-kill items"
Point is, this item's usefulness is rng based that it's inconsistent af. What are the odds that you can find shit tons of will-o-wisp from a chest, or a ceremonial dagger? It's luck based, unlike equips like royal cap or gnarled.
@@COOPERx223x It also synergizes wonderfully with Soulbound Catalyst to reduce its own cooldown down to just 5sec IIRC, and that's without having to do anything. If you kill monsters while it's active, you can pretty much use it non-stop. In fact, it gets so ridiculous, I wouldn't advise taking a Gesture with those 2 items, otherwise RIP to your PC.
Well, the whole list, and I only have one disagreement, Mr. Streamer:
Tonic *annihilating* final boss (even with some afflictions) has to be something that isn't F tier 🤔There is just too much raw power packed in it
Yeah, honestly, even without stacking equipment cooldown, tonic can easily save the run, should be at least D-C tier
CRABBAR I DEMAND MORE TERRARIA
If you get gesture of the drowned and 3 power cells spinel tonic is always active and is really broken
I don't think Mithrix takes tonic afflict
He does take shaped glass though
You can even throw afflictions into scrappers to get rid of them. Although it breaks the scrapper in the process.
Amazing job! Thanks for all the content man
Just so you guys know, I absolutely recommend getting tonic if you happen to have a clover, even with no gestures or cells. The affliction chance being reduced to *4%* means that you are pretty unlikely to receive a single affliction, let alone 2 (two removes your OSP)
Great list! I would rank the Deskplant a bit higher, however (no really, hear me out). Since the Deskplant counts as an on-kill effect, it gets triggered by the Forgive Me Please equipment. This means that you essentially get a placeable super-concentrated fungus that quickly reaches insane healing values, as the Deskplant seeds are stacked on top of one another. Just barely touching the healing AoE will instantly heal you up. It's very powerful. This *might* be an argument for moving N'kuhana up a tier as well, but that's another discussion.
Yea, especially if playing on Command, you can EASILY get your FMP to be a beast stage 2 if ya get a bazaar. You should easily have enough items to use the pods to snag a red, and if ya have the ability to do so, snag a fuel cell(stop at 3). Grab Dagger first, then next red grab Soulbound Catalyst. This is the one and ONLY case where Gesture can screw you over however. Sometimes, for unknown reasons, Gesture can glitch the Doll to such a degree you can no longer spawn them. And besides, it won't activate the doll any faster than the player does only their own since you can only ever have 3 Dolls per player. Also, another note, Equipment Drones will never activate it. On Command, FMP just becomes the absolute best equipment due to it's sheer versatility, especially on Mul-T. Swap back and forth between your equipments for constant uptime.
And for items to take for FMP? Easy! Dagger/Catalyst first and foremost. Later on Resonance Disc will just always be at max. Ghor's Tome and Will'o'Wisp. One Topaz Brooch(yes, only 1. With 3 constant upkeep kills, it will cap insanely fast), Tooth(imagine Desk Plant, but orbs). Oh and just grab proc chain items or max stacks of good items as Mr. Streamer man said, Dagger has a 1.0 proc coefficient, so regardless of your own, it will benefit the best. Oh and the daggers deal 300% damage, going up to 600% if ya get a second. This means you'll always have Band firing off everywhere. Never take behemoth though, the dagger proc the explosion on decay, and well, you spawn 9 every second at minimum. 72 over the lifespan of your FMP. That's such an insane number of explosions that it can easily start lagging once enemies stop spawning.
@@sakurawillows8364 I just finished a Command run with Forgive Me Please and about 60 Will-o'-the-wisps and 100 Crowbars. It was up there with the most broken runs I've ever had - just non-stop wisp explosions that covered the entire map and one-shot everything. Obviously, in a non-Command run it won't be that strong, but it can still get pretty wild in the right set-up. It's often really nice for those runs where you have fantastic clear and on-kill effects but lack in single-target, too.
It definitely needs some other items to work well, though - it's not just great out of the box - so it can range from being useless to the best equipment in the game. It does tend to get stronger the later into the game you are, though, while other items can plateau somewhat. I do love that it's something you can really decide to build around, even outside of Command runs!
Railee Saru Don’t forget gasoline, it’s a weaker version of willowisp but still it has larger explosion radius and applies burn debuff that can be used to trigger death mark.
@@loobkoob yea, on command it goes from mediocre late game equipment to top tier equipment by your second red. And if ya want, you can just sit on a level or in the void fields to get unlimited lunar coins. Cause yea. FMP can drop lunar coins. It's kinda sad that it doesn't proc Frost Relic, cause THAT would be broken.
@@plumbusc1379 true. But then again, how many enemies are gonna be alive long enough for burn to matter as much. If you don't have dagger, sure, burn helps, but with even 1 dagger it's extremely unlikely for enemies to be alive long enough for the burn dot to matter
"hard earned *COUGH* lunar coins"
...he knows
I thought the same thing!
is there some kind of cheese for lunar coins?
@@Barrel7899 Supposedly it's very easy to just go into the game files and change the number of coins you have.
@@aidandavid6681 oh dang
Imagine cheating in this game
I haven't played ROR2 in a couple of months, so imagine my surprise when medkit and dagger outclass energy drink. Damn, what a huge update.
Really surprised by the spinel tonic ranking, I think it is a valid equipment item even if you don’t have an endless setup. It functions just fine if you use it sparingly with its explosive effect, long duration and low risk drawback. Reminder that alternative to infinitely looping the equipment with cooldown items just a single 57 leaf clover brings its chance to reduce stats down to only 4% per use. So if you’re only using it a couple times per stage it’s actually pretty unlikely to ever receive a single negative stack before obliterating or fighting Mithrix. The fact that the negative effect is removed on use means that you have some freedom with its usage even if you get it early while working towards better cooldown options (or just better luck).

Beatle guards are only useful as a battery when you have a mired urn.
Portable battery meta here we come
If you have caped crit it gives insane healing
Have you ever considered making an ability tier list? Like ranking all the characters abilities against each other? It would probably be incredibly difficult because all the abilities are built around the character's kit so they aren't easy to compare.
I've been running huntress on attack speed crit builds, and this video is really helping me round out the decisions I need to make. Ten soldier's syringes is definitely too many when Predatory Instincts is a thing.
Supermassive leech is amazing on MUL-T with a gesture. Had a Royal Capacitor in the other equipment slot, and did the nail gun / rebar puncher switch strategy, so everytime you switch the leech is activated, pretty good if you don't have that much healing yet.
Streamer man: Fire band is lower than ice because enemies move around too much to get the use unless they are big and/or slow.
Streamer man as well: Chronobauble slow does nothing, shut up shut up Shut Up SHUT UP SHUT UP!!!
He's right though. I've never seen my Chronobauble slow make a difference on monsoon. I use it only to help trigger death mark. You should be the one moving, slowing your enemies really does nothing super great.
@@THEGRUMPTRUCK It keeps medium boys like Ass contraptions, Void Reavers, Elder Lemurians and Greater Wisps in the Kjaro band, as well as aiding to keep Jellyfish, Imps, All Beetles, Bison away. Sure, death mark is legit amazing with the chrono, but it still has some niche to have one in a run. The less enemies move, the more success you'll have landing high damage moves like Artificer Freeze Spears, Captain Airstrike, Huntress Ballista, Multi Scrap Launch and Rebar Punch, Acrid Spittle and Engineer Grenades/Mines.
Is it a lackluster item? Yeah, no doubt. But unless you play exclusively Rex, Commando Huntress or Loader, you can notice the difference.
That synergy is barely relevant at all.
Tbh they should make chronobauble slow attack speed as well. maybe like, 10% or something.
I'm always excited for my first Chronobauble, and then a little disappointed by the subsequent ones.

I actually really liked a lot of your comedy in this video very well done
9:48 every survivors second ability is quite powerfull

Taser has sucky damage but it shouldn’t be used for that. Locking down a bunch of golems so you can focus on the boss or stun clay Templars the second they start shooting to set up your air strike and charge a shot is really useful
@@lydia8226 and it resets the shotgun animation after firing meaning you can shoot way faster
Doll is easily A-tier, just a few broaches and you get insane survivability from it, especially when you get a few fuel cells since you can have 3 at once, not too shabby with wisp either and definitely good for crowd control in midgame (or lategame if you get lucky with a wisp printer or something)
If anyone hasn’t you should try the fuel cell + gesture + tonic combo. Although it takes up your equipment slot permanently, on characters like commando and huntress it is completely worth that sacrifice for the constant bonuses it gives. Any run I do with those characters I try to get that combo
You got to love this guy he really goes into detail for every item
24:53 "The ice band is now the most consistent type of damage"
Commando mains: *cries in not being able to proc*
Buff Phase Round please.
Buff Frag Grenade. Make it explode on impact
You can proc it with grenades
Commando can proc it with Frag grenade, I’ve seen it happen. I think it just has to hit more than 1 enemy so that the... what is it, 280%? I forgot. But basically if you can hit multiple enemies, it’ll equate to dealing over 400% damage and thus will proc bands.
I shouldn't have to use the crappy grenades in order to use a band. The threshold/cooldown should be adjusted per-survivor.
@@bugjams Center of explosion does 700%
UMM ACTSHUALLY MR STREAMER...
Lol jk, but I do want to clear up a little discrepancy. The energy drink isn't just changing the flat speed at which you sprint (it kinda is, but not really) it affects the speed _multiplier_ you get when sprinting. Think of it as increasing the "speed gap" between sprinting and walking, goat hoof marginally increases _both_ speeds, but the energy drink is increases the boost in speed you get from going from a walk to a sprint.
If you wanna test it out, try comparing the speed of sprinting with 13 goat hooves, then try 10 hooves and 3 energy drinks.
This! I always prioritize Goat Hooves but I'll take 3 hooves and 2 energy drinks over 5 hooves any day.
energy drink would give you better results because of that multiplier
Great video. So much info. Thanks! :)
Amazing video Woolie. You're entertaining^^
Got my first skin running Forgive me Please, Desk Plant, and Aegis literally couldn't die
Add a Soulbound Catalyst and Infusion. It works, astoundingly.
@@Seeker_of_Truth_and_Beauty *bruh*
Add a Nhkana's and kill everything around you too.
U forgot ceremonial daggers
tonic with just 3 fuel cells and a single gesture is my new favorite goal every run
15:57 Playing with mercenary I actually love having 5+ bandoleers for perma invincibility (you can pick the reset up while invincible)
the burn you can get from the molten perferator is actually useful for being a more consistent form of gasoline, it actually adds to your deathmark
41:20 "This one PANES my quite a bit"
I'd say the doll (forgive me please) could get a better ranking, one ceremonial dagger a few topaz brooches and enough drowneds/fuel cells and you get permanent barrier, plus the game plays itself
Glad you made Infusion B tier ive been advocating grabbing this item whenever possible to my friend group for awhile now.
Thank you for the incredibly helpful video! I'm new to the game, I've only got 20 hours into the game and this is very helpful to me.
Honestly from my experience with the “new” bands I’ve found them to be far less effective even if they are reliably consistent. The difference between a hard cap 10 second cool down and infinite proc chance and chaining seems crucial to determining their power compared to their previous iteration
Gotta get that blast shower with some fuel cells and the drowned item.
While I like the change to differentiate them from all the other on-hit items, their numbers are definitely low. Their 10 second cooldown does as much damage as a single AtG Missile (!!!)
@@rinder5 I agree. The new bands are great for the game's variety. However, their damage numbers need to get buffed hard enough to counterbalance the hard limit on their uptime.
Yah I think it’s pretty crazy to rate them on the same level as ATG. Think about how many ATG procs you get in 10 seconds. I think the bands are significantly worse than they were before personally.
Imagine if rusted key gets buffed:"for every stack of this item, you get 1 chest per stage"?
Thank you for this Tier List!
It should also be noted that purity is INSANE on thermal harpoons + visions of heresay engi. with 1 stack of purity, visions has a .5 second reload time, and your thermal harpoons ALSO have a .5 second cooldown. You can essentially hold down m1 and fire constant barrages of visions, and you can spam m2 m1 over and over to fire near endless harpoons because of the incredibly low cooldown. Just firing 1 harpoon at a time makes you have that split second of downtime that recharges it. It's pretty damn insane, and it also makes mobile turrets with visions MUCH more desirable.
YOU ARE A LEGEND WOOLIE! YOU MAKE ME NOT SUCK
You know you're a veteran when you instinctively salute that printer. If you know you know
Bustling fungus is good for the engineer on multiplayer. It makes all of your turrets have auras around them too, and its really useful.
Hey @woolie just a heads up, Silence between two strikes is broken on Mul-T as it completely refills his healthbar when you switch. If you switch to the equipment slot where you are holding it, then it fills your healthbar with shield regardless of how much hp you had. And inversely it fills your hp bar to full when you switch away from it. You're literally invulnerable unless you get oneshot(or twoshot instantly to avoid OSP)
I didn't realize this video was almost an hour long til I was 35 minutes in
Oh my God I had no idea I sat that long watching this until I read this comment... I better get of yt stat
Should you do void fields
Do you have razor wire y/n
Except the void field damage won't happen while in the bubble, which you have to do to charge them. And enemies don't spawn in between waves. So unless in multiplayer, or playing Engi and sticking your trrets in the damage field while they have healing, it isn't beneficial
You could always take a few peeks outside the cell zone to wipe out mobs around, while not losing much on tp charge
I pretty much would only take it there if I was going for the hyperbolic time chamber strat for fun (artifact of sacrifice while just infinitely killing enemies in there to gain items due to time being completely stopped and enemies spawning forever). Besides that... nah.
@@lordalex027 that's a good strat honestly. Especially if ya have enough regen thaf it doesn't matter
@@CrabBar oh hey Crab! good to see you here! ☺️
coming with the pro strats as usual, I see.

They're actually very fun to use when you find a healing shrine, as long as you get the heal shrine to t3 quickly, you can have up to three of the squid turrets in constant healing range of it without having to be babysat by you. Even better if they spawn *in* terrain as they sometimes do, because that makes them practically invulnerable while their shots pass through all terrain. And in really late runs when I get an item like.. Interstellar Desk Plant, that can be quite beneficial for them. Also a good item to buddy up with on the Engineer turrets if they have lots of stacks of Bustling Fungus. They aren't a good item on their own, for sure. Requiring combos to set them up, but they do seem to pack a decent enough punch to warrant at least one stack of even if you don't actively (or can't) combo with them at the moment.
I'd put Warbanner in A or B tier just for the Engineer after this past update. The ability for your turrets to consistently have +30% attack speed during the teleporter event is great.
Nice video!
"Here we are with the last item in all the lists and its an S item"
Squid Polup pops up
Fun fact about the Mired Urn:
When it says "creatures", it means it. Already killed multiple allies with this item by accident. Don't know if its enough to knock it out of the A tier, but definitely something to keep in mind as you need to actively avoid staying close to your friends
If everyone has one it evens out and activates razorwire too. Keeping distance is not hard with real players. drones and beatleguards can die from it which shouldn't really bother anyone.
gotta make sure they practice proper social distancing
Well that didn't feel like an hour.
Nice job with the script, info plus a lil humor to help it go down.
coming fromr isk of rain 1, I just got this game today and holy shit is it much more complex and confusing, so these videos are super helpful! keep up the great work!
The desk plant has been able to cover entire sections of the map in circles when I've used it. Seems atleast b tier
Yeah, the new plant is actually p nice. Covering the tele with a permanent heal area is real nice
55 minutes! you spoil us mr. streamer!
in my opinion the gesture+gorag is ridiculously good. i call it the ungo bongo combo. plus a couple fusion coils or the one that reduces cooldowns on kill, and your talking continuous uptime frenzy bb. particularly when your playing with friends, because your getting the frenzy buff ob everybody, including engineer turrets i'm pretty sure, for a few items on 1 person. *chefs kiss*
48:47 Not sure what it is about it but this line is extremely satisfying to my ears, thanks mr streamer
So I've done some compilations on FMP data and how it actually works... Wisps scale at 280% per stack, so using this if at 1 stack it does 280 and hits 8 times you end up with 2240% damage. This is like if the Capacitor could hit multiple enemies.
...this is at A SINGLE WISP WITHOUT GASOLINE OR CEREMONIAL DAGGERS.
Now throw on a single Brooch for 15x8 barrier, Tome for 8 chances of Gold for faster items a stage, Bandolier for CDR so you can use powerful skills more often, Desk Plant for a healing zone YOU CREATE WHEN AND WHERE YOU WANT or just use Monster Teeth for healing from it 2x8=16% health. A single Souldbound Catalyst also reduces the use time by 4x8 or 32 seconds over 8 seconds. 40 second CDR making it a 20 second use item if you don't kill anything.
This is with a single stack of items on what would be a weak run.
If you're going to get anywhere then FMP will help you, it will speed up your runs, reduce grinding, and give you on demand healing. It is literally every equipment in one save for Blast Shield. Provided you have the items... no different then a clover except you have complete control at that point. If FMP doesn't help you... then you lack the ability to kill multiple enemies effectively and will be overwhelmed quickly but with a single Tome you don't have to fight to get money to get those items to kill enemies.
I love your willow the wisp explanation
33:50 Clovers also affect Aspect drop rate.
If you get the lighting aspect on multi it heals half of your HP every time you switch weapons due to how it switches half HP between health and shields constantly, while running double rebar it basically makes you constantly at full HP with one shot protection, it’s pretty great
I think it was worth mentioning how much multiple hopoo feathers can help with the final boss. In my experience, staying in the air as much as possible helps you avoid a lot of his attacks.
Liked before watching, so make it good Mr. Streamer
one *massive thing to add* shield gens are a *big oof* against mithrix on his last phase.. as you have to play pretty much dark souls against him letting him regen his shield if you are unlucky
It seems to me that Woolie should make a separate video about Mithrix boss fight strats, including items to avoid when fighting him
I can't say for sure because I'm on console but the way you seemed to explain all the changes makes me think your teir list was near perfection
thanks for the list, very cool
