I miss Sleepy. I have seen a lot of concerts in my life and nobody and I mean nobody could get the old juices going like Sleepy. You either found yourself up on that dance floor or you were completely mesmerized as I was watching this man’s incredible playing. I remember he found I played guitar a bit and tried to get me to go on stage but couldn’t do it. One of my biggest regrets.
He let me play his 🎸 on stage, ps.i was drunk
This was an amazing time. I drove down from MA with Linda and the girls and Alan. I was exhausted after all that driving. Then I drove home a day later with the band. I was so tired. Good times tho.

EL SONIDO ES UN DESASTRE... NINGUN MUSICO DE ROCK&ROLL DEBIERADE ACEPTAR JAMAS SUSTITUIR UN PIANO POR UN COCHINO TECLADO ELECTRICO, JAMAS. HAY VECES QUE EL TECLADO NO SE OYE, Y OTRAS VECES SUENA DEMASIADO FUERTE EN RELACION CON LA VOZ O EL RESTO DE INSTRUMENTOS. UNA PENA, PUES PARECE QUE GENE DUNLOP LO SABE TOCAR BASTANTE BIEN, AUNQUE A VECES SE PIERDE. AL TROMPETISTA, NO SE LE OYE. EN FIN, HAY QUE CUIDAR MAS ESTAS COSAS.
SLEEPY ERA UN MUSICO ESTUPENDO, AUNQUE LE FALTABA ENSAYAR MAS CON SUS ACOMPAÑANTES, PRACTICAR MAS COSAS CON LA GUITARRA, E INTRODUCIR ARREGLOS MAS VARIADOS.
