During my last interview I was asked to convince the personnel to start looking my special African dish which he has no preference for. Somehow, I haggled my way through it but kept on wondering how I could have made it better. Your video title is a catchy one and really drew me in. Now I feel better for clicking on this channel. I've been invited for the next stage of the interview which will involve marketing the company's product to the panel team. I believe I'm on the right track here. Wish me luck guys.

+Create Supply and Demand: Create a demand in the buyer, for example tell him that if you don't buy this thing, you will face this problems in the future, and this is cheap so he will buy it.
+ Solve his problems or goals.
    +Upsell more than cross-sell.
+Involve the buyer emotionally, talk more about the solution, and then about how your products can solve.
+Give more than what you get, soon you'll get more than what you gave.
+All the tips given in this video

As a seller everyone try to sell expensive products , so the pen example is not going to work out but as u said in your experience the real estate guy has done his job by showing the cheapest and bad examples first then he convince what he have in his hand to sell .
Vedio is helping people's to get some information but build a RAPPORT to earn trust 🤗

I watch victor Antonio and grant cardon. For b2b and b2c model. I used their tactics and use rapport as flexible with Indian market and being a non sales person I sold 15k rs service in day 1.
You r right make customer life easy.
Here I am talkin abou victor Antonio an grant cardon. You wil go and watch them. I sold them, how its actually nudging.
Just like recommending any movie to friends. We don't make money for that sale but we nudge that up and he goes for movie.

or you could simply say that you wouldn't wanna take the expensive pen everywhere in case of loss or damage so buying the cheaper pen would be a good choice because you can take it anywhere and if it gets lost no big deal. also buying cheaper pens equals more pens and you could have a pen in your house, car, boat, work everywhere a pen! Better deal

A product may have great value, but it really depends on the salesperson to bring that out in the most relevant and contextual manner. Many sales persons do not know the art of selling. Selling is a skill set for sure. A transaction does eventually take place, but the vast majority of the time, you’re cultivating a relationship, listening to determine your customer’s needs. Get to know your product so well, you should be able to sell it in your sleep!

I found this video not that great as I am into sales & marketing and dealing with big guns. My feedback after watching this video are:
1.) Video is too long and few viewers commented on that note "Make it short and easier".
2.) The content was not so appealing and missing out on the "WOW" factors in it. Keep it more natural for the viewers.
3.) Need smooth transitions will communicating each other.
4.) Keep in mind not using the words so many times like "DAM" thing. There was in fact lot of repetitions to notice.
5.) Overall it was an average. I wish you both best success and keep burning the flame.
Please don't take it personally it is a suggestion...Cheers!! :-)

Really? You're gonna tell him to use this pen as an investment "when you're 3-4k worth pen is not working".
That's just devaluing his pen. Instead, you could say "use this pen for less important circumstances cause you can't afford to lose your expensive pen" or "the expensive pen should be used for what's most important to you, you shouldn't be using that for informal circumstances or when someone asks you if they can borrow your pen". That would sell.
Devaluing his investment in his expensive pen would get him telling you "just get the F outta here". That story ain't real bruh.

An expensive pen improves your image, if that is your objective. A cheap pen wouldn't look good on your pocket right if you are wearing a suit. Know your target audience and their requirements. Price isn't always a selling point.

I agree. They made the less costly pen sound un interesting.
Price point may be the issue only with correct lifestyle question. We customers purchase not of cost most of the time, we buy on an impulse, we buy based on what that "pen" will change in our life. What does my product do that no other can do? Why then pen should be the question. Build a story behind the pen using the customer's daily lifestyle and then hit then with a celebratory victory on how their lifestyle will change. Make them Invision why the pen.
