Ahhh damn dude, this came up in my recommended and I decided to check the comments, I cannot describe the amount of pain I have reading all the happy comments about Sky, and knowing that all of those peoples' childhood hero turned out to be a bad person. Sometimes I fool myself, trick myself into thinking it's not real and that my first and all-time favorite UA-camr is exactly who I always believed him to be, a wonderful person who does his best to be kind towards others. It's so hard to see and read everyone being obliviously joyful when I now know it's just a facade.

I think lizzie enjoys it cause she doesn't view it as a job/burden? She takes her breaks and does her "recipe" but yet she still keeps people on edge waiting for her to post, whether it be over a month or just a few days. And I will always love and respect her so so so much.
Dantdm had such an impact on my childhood. Things like the color blue, short hair, and even minecraft all became things I love because I started loving it through his channel. I still will watch his videos, even going back to the old Modded Minecraft server of Diamond Dimensions and he is just such an integral part of my childhood that I can't imagine it without him. Thank you so much Dan for everything

Yammyxox (one of the UA-camrs in Lizzie’s circle) never let her son have his face revealed to the internet either. Now that he’s older and makes his own videos, he’s done an internet face reveal, but she never let the internet see him until very recently.
Yeah, the child might not even want his childhood shown to the public and gets recorded on the Internet forever. Some people might even attack the child just because they are a bunch of nobodies. Better to remain your child's identity unexposed to the public until the child grows up and says that they want to.

So grateful for Dan, he forever changed my life with his minecraft videos and really any game he played. I remember in his peak when I went to his world tour show and absolutely loved it, even got a high five! I was so intrigued by how he could play games for a living, I even had him as my biggest inspiration when I had to write an essay in the final exam in 4th grade. these three youtubers were definitely a huge part of my childhood.
i remember like back in 2014 when i discovered minecraft, i believe dan was the first minecraft youtuber that i watched and i really enjoyed his content and he got me hooked with the game. i then discovered lizzie and then adam thru lizzie.
they basically raised me at this point, specifically dan and lizzie (they're the two youtubers that i frequently would watch their contents back then until now) and they're one of the people who helped me find what my hobbies and interests were.
but lizzie will always have a special place in my life. it's been 7-8 years since i started watching her contents and i still watch her contents up to this day. she's my go to person. watching her videos really help lift up my mood whenever i'm feeling down and i dont ever plan to stop watching her contents.
after learning about sky, this video makes me feel sick :(

Lizzie is still one of my favourite youtubers, for basically all my life and she was the reason I started to play Minecraft and still do
lizzie was right about the “used to watch” thing. yeah, a lot of people say this when they rediscover a content creator, but just because we move on doesnt mean we still didnt love the content! people come and go from certain channels, and thats okay because there are still new people who are just discovering these creators and love it too :)
People age and change and our preferences of content change with maturity and brand of comedy, we aren't Ash Ketchum, we don't stay 10 years old for 10 years.

I never really watched Sky or Dan, but Lizzie.. she was my childhood and is to this day, I sh!t you not, my favorite UA-camr. Honestly, a bunch of my sense of humor, which is the biggest part of my personality was inspired by Lizzie, which is understandable, having watched her since I was 6.
I truly hope to be like her. She has touched thousands and millions of people and has the power to put a smile on millions of people's faces, just hearing her voice or seeing a picture of her.
Fun fact, out of these 3, only Sky is the only person not to be in Minecraft Story mode, imagine SkyDoesMinecraft if he were in MC Story Mode. That'd be awesome.

Sky was the absolute highlight of my childhood and it crushed me when he quit and all that drama and stuff happened I was just... cried a lot tbh

Dan was the first minecraft UA-camr I watched. I remember in 2013 stealing my brother’s iPad just to watch him. I had random bursts throughout my lifetime of watching him. I’m glad he always stood the same and never from what I know of did anything problematic. I’m just glad he was apart of my childhood
While Dan wasn't the first Minecraft UA-camr I watched. I remember myself somewhere in July 2014, randomly finding one of his mod review videos in the old lab in my recommendations (it was the arcade mod review). I watched it, and after watching a few recent uploads at that time. I decided to subscribe, and I don't regret doing so. It's great we had someone like Dan who didn't curse. Because like most of our parents, my parents wouldn't let me watch videos with swearing even though I don't like to swear.
It was great watching his videos, while having epilepsy and seizures. Which thankfully 2 years ago I had brain surgery which put an end to my epilepsy and daily seizures. People like Dan had really helped me when I wasn't happy or in a bad situation.
It's interesting how back then we were all kids in elementary school (or some other school). Now we're either in highschool or college. I was literally 9 years old at that time, and now I'm almost 18 years old and can setup a basic server in a quick amount of time and do programming.

Lizzie’s pure enjoyment and passion for making her videos is so sweet… I wish more creators these days were like her
Lizzie, personally, is the most *legendary* Minecrafter. She has been uploading content, which she spends HOURS of work on each episode (not editing, she does like 4350 things in one video) , and came out with dozens of unique and carefully created series, and has never had the quality of her videos decrease. She is such a legend that her videos get millions of views in 2-7 days of uploading STILL, even after the Minecraft videos hype died.
The fact that she had managed to stay relevant for so long and is still constantly getting more subs and millions of views is amazing
Her underrated/hidden relevance and the way she still makes millions of views is just commendable

Yeah. So much so that I actually first found her channel in 2016 or so, when the Minecraft hype had mostly died out.
I'm gonna have to give that one to Stampy. For 5 years straight, every few days, he's had to come up with an original and creative structure to add to live Lovely World. Not to mention, the skits, most notably his stop motion. I just wish he got his own graphic novel like Dan and Pat did. I know that he got an activity book, but that's just not enough for me. But then again, I suppose that it's part of Stampy's charm to stay out of mainstream events. Although I guess I have a bias because I didn't grow up with Lizzie. I still respect her anyways.

Watching this gives me so much nostalgia, Dan was my ultimate favorite UA-camr back in the days. Kind of sad to think that I've outgrown my Minecraft phase and but I'm glad that they are still going on at it.
I was always so excited going home and watching their latest uploads.

I absolutely love Lizzie. I have phases and usually about a year later, I end up returning back to them for another while. Minecraft is one of those phases. I loved Lizzie, I've binged all of her SMPs from Crazycraft, Funcraft and Shadowcraft to One Life, Last Life and Empires SMP. She has had a big impact on my childhood and now that I started rewatching her content, I still understand why. I hope she stays true to herself, if she quits Minecraft or UA-cam in general to focus on her life with Joel, I will support her no matter what.

Dan's letsplays showed me minecraft and minecraft mode also he introduced me to UA-cam the first video I liked and the 12 I watched
He also was the first British person I knew. Like I didn't know what a British person was so yea lol
I don't remember really watching Lizzie or Sky but Dan has been my favorite UA-camr since I was 8 or 9, his videos have helped me through so much
i remember making a youtube account when i was 12 to watch sky. such nostalgia. also just massive respect for the dude now

adam & all of his friends he’s had on his channel were literally the biggest & most memorable part of my entire childhood. OG minecraft youtubers really have done more for young adults/the online sphere of gaming than they’ll ever know, seeing them all again still brings a giant smile to my face

Super happy to see Lizzie here. I only started following her a year or so ago when I watched the Afterlife series.
All these people literally sculpted my childhood. I'm so glad Dan was able to lessen his burnouts and continue, Adam looking genuinely really happy and well, and Lizzie not changing her "recipe". It's what keeps me coming back to her

@@hellostudios9742 crazycraft was their best smp series in my opinion. There were so many cc in that server, both big and small and I can tell pretty much everyone enjoyed their time in that server. Everyone made so many episodes, I think some even reaching 100 episodes. I miss it so much.

I like how Dan and Lady were like the older, well adjusted cousins that used to do fun things with you when you were younger, but now have lives of their own, while Sky is the Chaotic Neutral Uncle that sneaks you a beer at every family gathering

It’s such a real shame that Sky ended up being a real pos. He was a huge part of my childhood watching his videos. His Cops and Robbers videos were my favourites
I really appreciate and remember these channels even if I kind of outgrew Minecraft videos. It was never personal, I just shifted away from these videos as I got older and busier and went through some tough times. It also didn't help that I didn't realize that I stopped getting notifications from these channels as UA-cam changed and updated. It's kind of sad but I appreciated my time with these videos and creators and still appreciate them even if I don't watch so much anymore.
