🎉 🍾 🥂Since I'm a newsletter sub, I saw the title and cover days ago on the Monday the 7th :) That being said, I really LOVE this cover the best, Andrea for two reasons: One, because of all the pink detail (pink is my colour, as you know) - that pink wisteria and Celeste's dress are EVERYTHING; and two, because I'm obsessed with hotels. Not sure why but ever since I was a kid I've loved hotels so anything relating to hotels makes my day. I grew up watching "Great Hotels with Samantha Brown" where she'd stay overnight and go over the best qualities and recommend the best hotels in the state. I wanted that job so badly! Just binged a Korean drama, "King The Land" which is set primarily in a luxury hotel and chronicles the daily lives of a female concierge and a male head manager who happens to be the hotel owner's son (10/10 recommended watch). Thus, your newest cover is just feeding my obsession. Do you watch foreign films with subtitles, Andrea? Fun facts: My nephew was born April 2nd 2018 (Two days before your dissertation) and my mother was born on October 4th (the day you uploaded your 8th book). Congrats on your 8th book :)

Well done just a thought I am not an author but I do create my own music collaborations on a piano and as I am going along I don't wait until it is completely finished before letting people hear what it sounds like and I think that it's because I need reassurance that what time doing is ok but maybe I should take a leaf out of your book no pun intended and completely finished my collaboration and then let people hear it
It's always a fine line between how much to share earlier in the process. I share early drafts with about 3 people but wait until it's all done to share with more people.
How do you cope with the extreme heat in Arizona because I am from England and in July I went to Slovakia for a few days and it was so hot they were concerned that if people did not take enough care they could end up with heat stroke
@@AndreaJSeverson I don't like being shut up in doors either and it was bad enough when the UK went into covid lockdown and we were all confined to our homes but if you look at the bigger picture sometimes you have to stay inside for your own well-being

As an author whose debut comes out May 2025...watching you speed through the process was terrifying!!!! OMG!!! I am scared for that day.
It's so daunting but you can do it! Just focus on one step at a time. And it really is such a great day when the book is finally out. :)

The heat is hard. We cope with air conditioning. But I'm tired of being cooped up indoors and having my windows closed all the time.
