Cam Newton only missed 19 games in 9 seasons. Most of those 19 games came from last year, when he missed 15 games. Yet people say he's injury prone. 4 out 9 seasons - he's made it to the playoff, 1 season in which he got to the Superbowl. Last Playoff Appearances was 2017. People overrergarate Cam presence, Why? He does endzone celebrations & the way dresses in press conference? All that is white noise. One of the hardest worker & most disciplined players in the league. Work ethic is impeccable. Ron Rivera should thank Cam for willing his teams to wins through injuries. They praise QB's like Brett Favre who did it & experienced far more injuries. Cam's a Starter, Leader, & Former MVP Minus last season, he's only missed 4 games.
>They praise QB's like Brett Favre who did it & experienced far more injuries. I'm a huge Cam fan, but knocking Brett Favre for longevity is a shitty argument, considering he's the record holder for consecutive starts in the NFL (321). The man was absolutely lit up against the Saints in the NFC championship game from illegal hits and still finished the game. He played through everything. Nobody will ever come close to toughness in terms of a QB that Favre did, ever.
@@WhoopityDoo Brett literally played with severe Back, Knee, Hand, Finger, Shoulder injuries & was praised for displaying grit. He holds the record for most consecutive starts. Other than Last Season, Cam has ALWAYS started & played a minimum 14 games in 8 of 9 seasons. Another player than fits this mold is Ben Roethlisberger. "The style of play don't usually last." Stop regurgitating stuff you hear from punditants. Roethlisberger has never been touted as an accurate quarterback. He was known as & to some degree, still know as elite an quarterback - 6'5 with above average athletic ability, who can roll out the pocket, improvise & could find ways to get the first down when needed. Ben has always been praised for playing through pain & injury. He literally had a season injury just like Cam last year & still will have a starting job. Yet Cam is younger, more athletic, same level of accuracy, with less to work with most of his Career than Big Ben, in Regards to Coaching & Offense. Lamar Jackson, Carson Wentz all play the same.
@@WhoopityDoo the point is simple. He wasn’t knocking Brett he was using him as a example to why does he get praise but Cam gets scrutinized for doing basically the same thing.

I remember getting all excited because we got Kolb and thinking he was gonna take us to the superbowl😂😂
He was a good QB. Concussions + bad luck shortened his career.
Cam is still good he good he’ll of experience and that’s going to make it better and Carolina has never gave him a line, you have to protect your QB
Please make the video quality be 1080p @nfl
