R.I.P. Deborah Watling. She’s still a legend. And she still looked as beautiful as ever, right up until she died.

Imagine what an amazing Tardis quartet team they would’ve made! Rest In Peace to Patrick and Deborah, God rest their souls.

This almost makes me wish they were in a TARDIS team of 3 for the entire era. They clearly get on so well, so much so they turned a panel into them just talking as friends

God I wish I had been born in the 40's. The 60's were a good time to be a young adult, and a brilliant time to be so if you also had some money in your pocket.
These three are good people from better times.

The cast of Classic DW were a family, and as anyone who has lost a family member will tell you, that is something you know you got to accept, but you never ever get over it. R.I.P Debs, we'll always treasure your time in the Troughton Era.

Just finished The Space Wheel again and watching Jamie grow from a strong willed youth saddled with adult responsibility, into a strong gentleman by learning to live by the heart and love as Vicki did, lose her and become a Kind Hearted, Thoughtful Man, who defends others by Zoe's influence.
It showed how important they were to each other and displayed such a beautiful and organic healthy human connection that could only happen by opening themselves up to the unfamiliar life of another person.

@@BeAGoodDoga It's an absolutely brilliant story! Atmosphere, great characters, and surprisingly effective horror are practically falling out of its ears, plus it has a heart-pounding climax and one of the best companion departures of the show. Easy 10/10 for me. (And I've only seen the telesnap reconstruction with still shots and the soundtrack, not even the animation!)

I still find the constant need to be the joker a little bit tiring, when I watch Frazer Hines in fandom events. I love him as Jamie in the second Doctor era and have really enjoyed it at past fandom events over the years when he has been serious for a moment and talked about behind the scenes problems, decisions and making the series during the 1960's.
My favourite was when he said he wished to appear on the Simon Dee talk show that was very popular when he was playing Jamie, Dee Time (1967). However Patrick Troughton did not wish to be on as he didn't feel it was right to appear as himself, as he felt it gave people to much insight into the actor behind the character of the Doctor. This resulted in him not being able to go on alone and missout on appearing on the show.
