There's no reason in the world that Zoe should not have laughed at that point; many people do laugh when they're scared or nervous, and besides, Zoe was just detached enough to see the humor of a situation when others couldn't right away. The sign of a mega-genius.
How did I miss this panel!! I was there last year! Don't give the moderator too much fluff, he was just trying to create discussion. Padbury...just as hot as she was in the mid-60s.
Zoe worst companion ??? The guys obviously not seen the Ponds or frigging Clara Oswald 🤬 Shame Janet wasn’t there. She would have sorted that bloke out
At the London Excel Doctor Who Festival in 2015, some guy asked a question in which he said that Clara was irritating. The panel comprised, Stephen Moffat, Peter Capaldi, Michelle Gomez, and Ingrid Oliver. Stephen Moffat gave the guy a right royal roasting which he clearly not enjoy, as he sat there for the duration, looking uncomfortable. Everyone's entitled to their own view (Personally I liked Clara, but I know opinion is divided), but there's a time and a place, and this was neither. It was difficult not to feel sorry for him, but hopefully he'll be more thoughtful before making similar comments in public again.
Also that guy was lying, literally no website I’ve personally seen has ever said anything bad about Zoe, she’s one of the most popular classic who companions!
@@surfdaymetalnight9182 What's intriguing about Padbury in that movie is that she's already 22 at the time of production, and is actually Linda Hayden's senior by five years! But because Padbury is so physically petite, she looks like she's only about twelve!! This may have been a factor in the casting at the time because her child-like appearance makes the scene of her character's attack and demise all the more vile and repulsive.
How can Zoe be considered the worst companion? She was awesome! That whole era has great companions, IMHO. Most of them do.
Bloody well done Deborah Watling. With so called fans like that no wonder we're all classed as weirdos!
Speak for yourself
And that's why Victoria is our hero! :) (And I adore Zoe, screw that guy.)

Good job Debbie. Both she and Wendy were awesome in DW.

You can see wendy padbury is visibly upset by that question. How pointless was it? And totally inappropriate.
I loved Zoe.
I would love to meet wendy and Frazer some day i wanted to meet them since 2001😢😢

I still have a crush on Debbie Watling!
Who doesn't?
What exactly was this bozo's intent in bringing up these irrelevant websites?
MaskedMan66 To get a reaction.

Zoe is the best
Have you seen her and Anthony Ainly in the Hammer Horror Classic, THE BLOOD ON SATAN'S CLAW?
