The Polish pronunciation in this video is making me cringe. Pronouncing "Polish" as in "Nail polish", "sześć" as in "sheesh!" instead of "shehszt" (although I feel like that one was deliberate)...🤣 I'm learning Polish (and I'm also Polish-American - heard a lot of correct pronunciation from my grandparents).

@@JenniferPolish the voice is AI generated and it reads in English and not in Polish. That's why all Polish words are written so weird 😅

As a pole i have no idea what to say except: Zielone jabłka znajdą Twój dom, i liczę, iż będziesz umiał napisać referat na ich temat . Powodzenia

A lot of languages have a gender for their nouns. For example Spanish. In Spanish both a chair (una silla) and a table (una mesa) are females. Does it have more sens? And the Duolingo Spanish course also has a lot of strange sentences.

Men, learn Polish alphabet first - there’s a vid titled “how to read Polish or smth” and it makes life muuuch easier - if you’ll give it some shots 😅 Good luck learning Polish 🫰

@@karczameczka yeah. Beacose when u know each letter u can read any work, not like in english. Jn polish every letter is spoken how it is(beside some softening so words r possible and other "shortcuts" (like w -> f jabłko -> japko etc))

You should be glad that Duolingo does not teach you apple varieties... papierówki, jonagold, idared, gala, szara reneta, rubin... and 20 more 😂 yeah... apples are life 😂😂 I'm Polish and I agree

    1. apple

    3. everything has genders so when u say ten it means masculine ta is feminine and to is neutral and it adds nothing to the language except calling kot it and pig she
    4.idk
    5. it's a slavic language your w is wrong for not being a w but an ł

Ah yes, my favourite phrase in french is "Je suis un cheval" (I'm a horse) or we can also say in german "Ist deutchland in wien" (Is Germany in Viena?)
