Be sure to follow Greg's tiling work on Instagram at: instagram.com/gn_tilingltd/
Some joints quite close to each and out of line, my ocd kicked in, what am I missing? I'm no pro.
That bond wound keep me up at night jhezz
Absolutely love it! Greg is brilliant to watch and you could have your own channel mate (sorry Tony & John 😬). Great to see you apprentice getting so hands on too. Would love to see some work on marble tiles if possible. Cheers, Rob 👍🏼🏴👌🏼
With the large floor tiles, some of the joints are basically inline with each other, shouldn’t they be at-least 100mm apart?
More of a look thing, on a wooden floor you need more of a stagger for strength but with free length tiles you do end up with some close joints, people usually have a similar grout colour to the tile so once that’s all done you hardly notice the joints
Amazing job we love Greg! Would you always recommend prepping a floor before tiling vs building up a few extra mm of adhesive to fill voids etc… Greg always gets the best jobs with fresh spot on floors and walls
Great job by Greg and his team. Would be interested in an explanation/demo on the "expansion joint" Greg keeps mentioning. I get the concept with the longer lengths, just can't visualise what is done.
Them bed joints😱 1 on top of 2👌
Cracking work as always. Love to see such care, knowledge and attention to the trade. End result shows why you do it properly 👌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it Scoot! 😊👍
That’s a great job 👏🏻 I send people over to see your work when they are struggling diy tiling .
Thanks for watching Tony! 😊👍
Absolutely smashed it Greg Keep it up fella
Thanks for watching buddy! 😊👍
5.37 them joints looked really close together by the door, almost straight jointed
Great work as always guys. 👍👍
Amazing work as always Greg and Alex 👌🏻
Glad you enjoyed it Jake! 😊👍
When talking about back butting the tile at 11.43, did you use the the straight edge of the trowel on the tile not the keyed edge you used on the wall ?
Nice one them floor tiles look well smart 👍👍👍
Thanks Mark! 😊👍
Great Team work 👍👍You know your trade Bud 👍👍😀😀
Thanks Robin! 😊👍
That's the correct way to Tile exactly how my uncle does it.
Damn.. great neat work as always! Wish I could tile like you guys! 😂
Thanks for watching Tony! 😊👍
Excellent work as always, great team you have around you.. tiler myself your work is tip top mate… 💪🏻
Thanks buddy! 👍
I’m a tiler too in Ireland . What kind of money per square meter in bathroom s do you charge ?like the bathroom and tiles shown here . I work alone so that room would take me 4 days
Quality craftsmen.
Many thanks Maria! 😊👍
Great video, keep them coming 😉
More to come! 😊👍
Excellent video, really looking forward for the next vlogs. It would have been cool to see how to grout those wavy tiles.
same as any other tile just a bit more work getting the excess of the surface.
@@tentonhammer5469 Thanx for the answer 👍
Great stuff Greg and Alex 😁🤜🏻🤛🏻🧱👍🏼
Glad you enjoyed it guys! 😊👍
@@BuildWithAE 🧱👍🏽
Quality! He needs to start a UA-cam channel
A full bed is the only way to go. As a handyman I go to fix tiles especially in bathrooms. 3mm hollow tiles never stood a chance😁.
Can you show a in-depth of how to seal around shower mixer pipes the correct waterproof, way?
After tiling pls.
Great videos and fantastic presentation. Quick question…. In the bathroom, is that paint on waterproofing? The blue layer? If so, should it not go to ceiling?
Lovely job 👏
Thank you Mark, take care! 😊👍
Hi Greg, Fantastic work as always.
Just want to ask if you would politely explain the bond pattern you have used. Is it just aesthetic.
PS: I am not a tiler or tradesman.
GN could you do an extensive video on setting out please! That’s the difficult bit. That bathroom you tiled looks a mare to set out and get right…
Cracks me up when he says stuff is tricky or difficult.. asif anything is tricky to this man
Absolutely right to slag off dot and dab tiling. My first house had bathroom done like that in small format tiles and only a few months later i started to find them in the bath as if by magic. No anhesive on the wall but little dabs on the tiles🙄
All about going that extra bit further to get the best possible job for the customer. No corners cut... no exceptions. Thank you for watching Doug! Take care 😊👍
What's with the bond it seems all over the place?
Super tidy.
Thank you 😊
I thought your supposed to start from the middle of the floor?
👌
😊👍
Always enjoy watching a quality tradesperson (politically correct people) at their work. As has been already mentioned I'd be interested to see expansion joint explained in more detail too. Keep it up A&E
Thanks for watching Maverick! 😊👍
"People making excuses for doing things wrong"...
You don't even fill your waffles in your Matting before trowelling out tbh mush!
Time lapse too fast. Would have been nice to see how Greg cut the tile for the pipe coming out of the floor. He's simply the best!
Lovely job 👍🏼
Thanks dude! 😊👍
