Data Diamond is the sound of FOUR STROKE BARON at their most confidently unhinged. Originally conceived as two separate EPs (one purely electronic - Data, one heavy - Diamond) that would then meld together on one full length release, the idea morphed into what is now the succinct sucker punch of an album that is heading our way at speed.
No such claim could be laid against Data Diamond - a dizzying sub-40 minute dive into the deranged psyches of its creators. The tracks on Data Diamond are lithe yet still allow enough room for idiosyncratic flourishes that mark this out as a true FOUR STROKE BARON opus. If Classics was a Man vs. Food belly busting plate of indulgence, Data Diamond is an upmarket Gordon Ramsay dish, served with a side of insanity.
With this, their fourth full length, FOUR STROKE BARON has blossomed into the self-absorbed, wildly confident, musically deranged partnership that they were always destined to be - and it sounds incredible.

This band is criminally underrated
If you get it, you get it. FSB hits different because they are different. I'd wager big money these albums will be more popular in 20 years than they are today -- and that sucks.
I totally agree. There’s literally not another band like these guys, they are completely doing it their own way and that really hard to do these days. I hope it catches on.

I have Cyborg Pt II as a 'liked song' on Spotify and it comes up randomly here and there, I otherwise do not often listen to FSB. Today on my way home, I hit shuffle on the liked Songs, hoping Pt II played among the hundreds of songs on there, just had a hankering to hear that riff- it did, I blasted it. I got home and this was in my recommended YT home, posted 13 days ago. Love to see it, love to hear it.

Kirk is the riff king! Matt is one of my favorite drummers! This band is insanely good.
I've noticed Matts are some of the best drummers, like Matt Halpern in Periphery, Matt Greiner in August Burns Red etc. All so great at what they do!
