600HP Turbo J32 V6 Civic Ripping Up the Runway At Slipstream Racing Events!

- @BiggManArthur brought out his "beater" car to the first SlipStream Roll Racing event of 2021!
Stock J32a2 with over 200k miles on it with an eBay turbo on pump E-85 was enough for 600whp at 20psi. Due to the elevation and high DA of Pocono Raceway the car was down on boost (17psi) for the runs in this video. It still ran strong all day with no fuss running over 150mph+ with ease.

Love the J series including the sound. Sounds like a slightly higher pitched and raspier Mitsubishi 6G. Low Tone V6's sound nasty as hell 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
That was my mustang in the first run, missed 4th bounced my slave and got some air in my clutch line. Would have been a great run. Hopefully he’ll be there in July and we can run it back
Bummer, cause it was only one we got go pro video of to. The civic will be back later this season.
Hopefully you going with more power too or getting gapped again for sure even if you dont miss a gear

That car is rolling out for sure. When my car went 159 at Pocono it was running 9.6s at 147mph in the 1/4 mile
This broke into the 10s on 12psi low 130s mph. This video was 17psi, and it runs 20psi for full 600whp

The Honda J32 is a beast. I'm gonna try to grab an Acura TL next month.
The transmissions are honestly the weak(er) links of the Honda and Acura V6’s…. I wonder how much boost a newer direct injection J-series V6, with a 10AT would hold. I also wonder if those transmissions can be built and/or upgraded somehow..

@@isnowyaznall the transmission needs is a 6th gear cuff and new 4th and 5th. Only bad thing about the 6spd is the higher gears stock are so long you lose everything at 5th gear
@@lm44913 I personally feel like the 4th gear is long enough to kill off performance in an Na setup too, although yes, 5th and 6th are definitely long as well. They definitely aren’t full on OD (overdrive) imo, as 6th gear doesn’t even sit super low in my 9th gen Accord manuals, both the 2.4L (K24W1) and 3.5L (J35Y2). I believe my 2015 Honda Accord EX-L V6 manual coupe had a 4.10 final drive gear ratio.
Cruising for me at past 70 mpg is usually around 2.5k+. Anything above 80 mph is well over 3k+ RPM. I mean, it still gets “decent” gas mileage, but when I was tuned and built, I wasn’t exactly expecting fully stock brochure type MPG’s. Haha

@@expressbuys6274 Really all the engines make around 500whp somewhat "safely". 600whp is absolutely the max and a ticking time bomb.
The three motors that are the exception and have weaker components are the J35a1-a2 and J35s1. All the rest have forged Rods (forged to light, not for strength), forged cranks and cast pistons

It does sound kind of bad, like one of those rattle can exhausts but at least it’s fast & I guess it adds to the sleeper look.
How well does the j32 spool the 7875? Is it a t4?
Keeps full spool over 5500 rpm which helps keep the stock rods in the motor
What transmission??
I'd guess the Accord or TL 6-speed based on the shifter. You can also J2K if you want to use a manual awd tranny, which i don't think was ever made for the J.

They heavy cars, Honda so lights, 600hpbis basically 1000hp on a bigger car. The power to weight ratio evens out
