I'm liking the use of mixed media to piece together the narrative. There's no reason to restrict oneself to just animation or live-action or comics, when all are effective.

Boba knew it was a pointless battle and decided to go into the pit via "Accident" Just so they would think he was dead. After that he knew his fame would grow after escaping the sarlac pit. xD

He is far from too nice. It's actually called wisdom. A good leader knows when to apply violence and when to be patient. He was never an dishonorable individual. He isn't even a villain in the original Trilogy. Yes, he was known to disintegrate. But that's pretty normal for Mandalorians. Din did it to some jawas. The Fett clan has always been pretty ruthless. Cassus Fett caused a genocide to win a battle. But Jango while ruthless was not without honor. In fact, pre Disney, he actually helped a jedi save Coruscant from a death cult because Zam pointed out how many sons wou be mudered. And he instilled this in his son. Seriously, read republic commando Hard Contact. There's an old story describing the 3 great daimyo of Japan that fits into this pretty well. Hint, Tokugawa established a 400 year shogunate that took the American navy to stop. Nobunaga, Hideyoshi and Tokugawa were watching a cuckoo bird waiting for it to sing, but the bird wouldn’t sing. Nobunaga says “Little bird, if you don’t sing I will kill you”. Hideyoshi says “Little bird, if you don’t sing, I’ll make you sing”. Then Tokugawa Ieyasu says to the bird “Little bird, if you don’t sing I will wait for you to sing”.
Hes not very powerful if you look at the book of Boba Fett but in legends and the original Trilogy, he is a bad ass. Leave it to Disney to screw up one of the most iconic characters in Star Wars. They need to fire the douche bags who made all the new stuff they seriously must hate all of American culture.
Wasn't Boba's main gun already powerful enough to disintegrate people? I remember seeing a comic where he disintegrates someone with one shot of his blaster.

i think tense matters here, "how badass WAS boba fett?" is more accurate.
