- Boba Fett, the clone to Jango Fett, continued his 'father's work as more respected bounty hunter in the galaxy. When the Empire needed something done, Boba was the one for the job (unless Vader's brash and less than stealthy tactics were needed). Here are top 10 facts about Boba Fett from legends and canon to give you some more info about the most notorious bounty hunter out there.

He's also in The Mandalorian season 2 episode 1 as we saw. I wonder how his character will be part of the series now that we know he has survived.

I love the fact that Boba Fett is back, but just seeing Temuera Morrison play live action Boba Fett is even more exciting honestly. Just imagine Temuera with that grey beard Rex has.

Temura wouldnt have the grey beard. Rex and co have it because of accelerated ageing. But Boba is an unaltered clone, so he ages normally

Did anyone else notice that Mando’s defeat of the Krayt dragon resembles Boba Fett’s debut appearance?
I think it foreshadows the fact that he is still alive (if Mando could do that to a Greater Krayt Dragon, then Boba Fett surely can do the same to a Sarlacc).
Can we give credit to Filoni for taking every bad ass character who went out like a bitch and brought them back ie maul and boba

@@Master_Reven If we are being technical, Boba doesn’t really die in ROTJ if he has to be slowly digested and how you could just say his armor protect him for him to escape sooner or later.
With maul, they had to really think of a way to make him survive since at the time, we didn’t think anybody could survive that and I think that was before we knew that force users could survive falling from such heights. So they just made it to where he was too angry to die.

To clarify people about Boba Fett and Jango Fett being a Mandalorian, yes. They both were. Boba eventually even becomes Mandalore. The issue is that Disney retconned this. Now to explain, because there is often a misconception in the lore. Jango Fett was raised by Jaster Mereel, who was referred to as a 'True Mandalorian' and Jaster Mereel was murdered on Korda Six by DEATHWATCH. Which opposed Jaster and his honorbound ideals and code which Jango was raised by. To further clarify;
People bring up this quote from the Clone Wars.
"I recently encountered a man who wore Mandalorian armor. Jango Fett."
"Jango Fett was a common bounty hunter. How he acquired that armor is beyond me."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi and Almec
but Almec was a traitor and was working with Deathwatch who was a faction against the True Mandalorians which was Jango's and Jaster Mereel's faction. The True Mandalorians AND Deathwatch broke the Mandalorians out into a Civil War. Almec was either A; lying, or B; referring information to what he was told to, by Deathwatch. Either way, what Almec is stating is false.
Another quote that people don't realize; We also get this in the clone wars
"A civil war killed most of Satine's people, hence her aversion to violence. When she returned, she took on the difficult task of rebuilding her world alone."
―Obi-Wan Kenobi talking to Anakin Skywalker about Satine's past
This Civil war was the massive schism between Deathwatch and The True Mandalorians.
Now Boba is different, Boba was being raised a Mandalorian, by his father, through a little guide/handbook that his father gave to him when he was young. He followed this handbook in his early years but once he met Aurra Sing, he fell off of this. It wasn't until much later when he was to be considered and adult that Boba had finally became a full fledged Mandalorian. Regardless, Boba Fett eventually becomes Mandalore a little bit prior to the Vong Wars, and is one of the pivotal reasons the Mandalorians beat the Vong so badly is because he played them as a double agent, learned their secrets and weaknesses and struck them effectively.
Edit: To clarify, so everyone can see this. This was BEFORE Disney's retcon of the lore. As of now, this is considered Legends, but prior this was canonically their stories.

Theory: Disney is afraid of Boba Fett. (Think about it, how many times has Disney mentioned, referenced, or even given recognition to Boba Fett? Even in reality, it's rare to see him in Disney's Disneyland.)

There's something about making it that makes it less scary. Like even if you're working on a horror movie you know you have complete control over how it looks.

Eoftar it should even come with a grain of salt despite coming from George seeing how often he flipflopped between views on his own story (I love the man and his creations but he wasn’t always consistent)
@@BanesBasement true. If George kept his original idea of Star Wars to the end we would have Luke Starkiller and the Force in the form of THE kyber crystal that looks like a Sith Holocron. But hey, what I liked about him is that nothing goes to waste, everything is eventually used in some way - Starkiller, kyber crystals, Sith Holocrons, etc.

Technically Jango Is still classed as an 'outlaw' Mandalorian, similar to death watch so that also makes Boba still a Mando by the creed of it all and how they work, guessing Jango would have raised him that way.
No, Jango is never outlawed. The opposing Faction that hunted Jango kept him from ever obtaining power or letting any of the True Mandalorians set foot on Concord Dawn for a while.

I’m so sad that Boba has had so many scrapped storylines, but I’m so happy that the Mandalorian is bringing him back and hopefully we’ll get some badass fett stories

I believe that Boba actually predates the Holiday Special, as a kid I remember there was a contest to send in proofs of purchase of Star Wars toys to Kenner in order to get the Boba Fett action figure BEFORE seeing him on TV in the holiday special.

I was never as happy as I was when I saw boba and the end of episode one and then I flipped my shit when I saw his ship in episode 6 and was giddy with excitement when he got his armor back and when he refurbished it was so dope to see him back in the armor I just wish he had his old undersuit and not that black robe it does look cool tho but I like the old look better

He was in legends and his Brother Spar took on the title of Mandalor the ultimate
Minister almec was also a corrupt politician and the only source in the star wars universe to deny boba and jango being mangos. In some of the last novels in legends, we got the story of boba truly embracing his mando heritage and even becoming the mandalore himself.

Boba Fett is one of my favorite Star Wars characters, I mean, originally he didn't have a lot of depth to his character, but it works really well for his character. I really hope he has got some kind of importance in The Mandalorian season 2.

In books I’ve read he had a terahertz level scanner in his helmet setup. He could scan whole buildings. Plus he could operate functions in his helmet with eye commands.

@@giantskunk8 Way too many fun characters to bring into this season. They'll want to save a few for later seasons.... I'm guessing only Boba, Ahsoka and possibly Rex will make it into this season.
@@jakemakes I honestly think that Sabine is 100x more likely than Rex. I don't think Ezra will be now, but there has been some teasing of the character on twitter. Also, with all the graffiti that we've been seeing, as well as the mystery girl in the trailer, I do think that we will be seeing Sabine, and I really hope so too. I would love to see her brought to life!

@@daevs_ there’s a book that talks about a spice runner getting caught and boba deft being hired to take him down and the reward happens to be equipment - this wrist mounted dart weapon I mentioned and bobs fett took the contract for it. I can’t remember which book it was though.

EA was making a open world Bounty hunter game, but scrapped it for the short and mediocre Fallen Order.
@@SagaciousNihilist Fallen Order was a sad excuse for a game. I get hate for saying that, but it was. The story was short and replay ability is non-existent. They also dropped the ball bringing in yet another random character instead of using one of the dozens of well loved and well known characters. I’m sad that I wasted money on it 🤪
Controvisal Opinion: I'm not really a fan of the people in the episode killing the crait dragon, because in (mostly) legends material it's always depicted at this unkillebl godlike creature which could only be killed by the strongest force users. Change my mind

Bombs inside stomach beats most monsters. But for a fight 1 vs 1 with no tech trickery youd need to be a very powerful force user maybe old Republic era strength
-I do recall Kuill telling Mando that his ancestors could slay Krayt Dragons.- So I think it makes sense that he could beat it. Also, it’s not like they beat it that easily. A ton of people died.
Well the thing is that legends is no longer canon so they don’t have to follow that specific lore. Now it’s obviously strong but killable if you chuck a load of explosives into it’s mouth or fire it off under it’s belly.

Because there are a lot of other great Star Wars games that Lucas Arts created. The only thing Lucas obviously didn't do was a tv show.

Daniel Logan is the perfect age to play Boba again in a film or series set between episodes 3 and 4. Which would be Boba in his prime. I would love to see that become a real thing
It's pretty awesome he's back, I actually screamed when turned around and I saw his face. The clones are the only reason why I got into Star Wars, I can't wait for more.
