WHY THIS MUSIC - i dont like it too, but I had some copyright claim and had to change entire video music using song from youtube library that is long enough to cover entire video.. sucks. the song in the video was the only one I could use since it had to be over 15 minutes long.. so its either this song or no video at all..
It's cool I dont know why everyone's bashing you so hard about it but I didnt really minf
How can I get a dirt bike motorcycle
@@donovanenriquez2438 buy one, motorsport stores, Craigslist, facebook market place, etc. Many ways
Loved the opera. Sincerely.
It's "Ode to Joy" set to music by Beethoven. I thought it fitting since your rebuild clearly brings joy.
I feel like I’m in a medieval church with the music!
yea.. i know.. thanks for watching
Bike was amazing, music was awful. Muted and played my own music lol
@@camhart9245 haahah same
Ikr like da bike is getting destroyed
@@camhart9245 smart, especially when your using headphones
I like how in all bike build video they all go so smooth good job editing out all the cussing and throwing stuff🤣
100 percent 😂
and stripped bolts
What do you guys usally do with new bikes like this? Do you keep them/sell them or anything else?
keep some, ride them, some sell.. depends
How was the frame and swingarm for example painted? U did it urself? And what method did u use?
Foxiee I took these to a local shop who sand blasted them, and then powder coated them black. Thanks for watching!
I just had the best breakfast ever and not because of the coffee and oatmeal lol
I wish all builds had a vid like this!
glad you enjoyed your breakfast, here is another build I did recently ua-cam.com/video/r_UKeg2tqGM/v-deo.html
This one's going to be an epic timelapse, just let me grab a beer and I'm out for 23 minutes :D PS. thx for the detailed description of parts used in this build!
cool bro! how did you like it? ;)
@@dirtniron I loved the beer, thx. haha JK ;) Just finished, had to vapor blast few things (Built my own hydroblasting cabinet few months ago, one of the first here in Poland, and having fun on it :) The video and build was amazing! Love every aspect of it! The details on the bike are stunning! When I saw the engine oil I was like "wait, that latte color isn't good" and then he opened the water pump ;) Would prefer the original plastics on it with some great factory-loook graphics but it came out sharp! To be honest, you should make a 125 project yourself. Can't wait for your YZ250 to YZ250X built videos. Purchased A YZ250X 3 months ago so that's a project for me :) If you like, and have some time you can check my newest video - YZ 250X - blue autumn, nothing spectacular but tried to push it on the "edit side" a bit. All the best and keep the videos coming! Cheers, Jack
SupermotoTrolls sounds like you are staying busy!! Hydroblasting is the way to go, i guess you can make some money there, do guys in poland 🇵🇱 like to restore stuff?
@@dirtniron Sorry for answering so late. Been busy ;) Here in Poland people mostly restore old, Polish bikes from the 70's and 80's like WFM, WSK, JUNAK. But now I see a trend for getting dirt bikes pimped, thanks to Teddy Blazusiak, the sport is getting popular and more people ride offroad, what I find amazing! I love factory look and hope Vapor Blasting will be "the thing" here because it will make bike parts better than factory "look" on a budget. Thingers crossed :) All the best man!
YOU GUYS Should start a show call pimp my bike. Only thing original on this bike is the motor and frame
haha, sounds interesting.. ;)
D Moto’s vlog and the Motor is barely stock
D Moto’s vlog that’s what I thought, $800 bike...$5000 worth of new aftermarket parts. Real special builds are all original.
Yes and put a PS2, fountain and a milkshake machine on it!
@@grahamdowdell4356 Hell yeah, plus where i live in the portland,or area I look at craigslist all the time and there are never any good buys on used dirt bikes to fix up.
I can´t keep the pace. Please, make a whole series on that engine rebuild.
I dont understand how people remember where the bolts go. Im 15 and planning on going to take classes at the community college but i can do smaller things but im scared if i took my whole bike apart at once i would forget everything
take pics and some vids too as you take it apart.. its a learning curve but doesnt take long
Man, if I were in the market for a $40,000 125 I’d be all over this.
wish you did a pre 80's 2stroke build, a 1974 Honda elsinor would be great!
I'm gonna guess you have or had one
What track is this anyone know?
Paul N it’s Perris Raceway
Which Nihilo grip tape did you take? Because there is none for the kx125
You will have to send them and email and ask for it. They might still be able to make it for you but not for sure.
dream 125 screamer
Ps. If my engine gets blown this is the guy i want to rebuild mine holy he took good care of that engine
love the music. One of the main reasons I downloaded the video!!
you must be the only one who likes it. Thanks Michael!
What kind of camera are you using for time lapse?
Colburnski GoPro Hero4👍
@4:40 can't believe somebody let that plan go through of putting the front axle pinch bolts facing forward on the low part of the fork lug, smh. dragging/pushing through ruts
I love this build/restoration videos but in the same time its pissing me off because i know this bike costs more than a brand new one whitout the sponsor stuff on it ! And i cant afford that on my bike....
yea, you are right. It doesnt make sense for average rider to spend this much on the bike. this is a passion project build for the magazine, but its really cool to see it come alive, right?
@@dirtniron for sure but i want to do this to my bike... I have a 2004 yz 250 "had it for a long time" and ive put som money into it but to do all this is not possible at least not in sweden... =(
@@dirtniron could you share the total money do you spend? thanks
Not only was the music gay enough by itself, you guys played the gay music over the bike running!
so sorry man, next time more manly ;)
😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Awesome. And finally with an kx😍 instead of all those ktm and yz.
Sure im a kawi fan but not that I don't like the ktm and Yamahas but, it's what almost every video is about, so it was so awesome to see this video, and a good explained one with the hole build filmed also. 10/10 from here.
Not sure my own kx125 2004 build is going to turn out as great like this, but i can hope.😁
Cheers from Denmark :)
And someone in the thread is speaking about the cost, well you are not doing something like this to "save" money, but to bring those awesome bikes to life again.
When mine is done, i might as well have boughy a brand new bike of the retailers floor instead of doing this, but you cant get a kx125 anymore can you now😉
good luck with your project man!
Yes yes yees!! Looks amaizing. Cool decals too.
I like your bike builds. So nice! I want to see a real budget build: budget bike with budget parts - maybe some nice plastics to give a fresh look
I will do budget build one day, not sure when tho.. my yz250x will definitely not fall into “budget” category 😉
Hi couple of questions, did you use the kx fuel tank? Or the kxf? And was it the standard rear end . Thanks
this IS epic bro. great job
Dude i tell you, your project has left me SPEECHLESS ! I am working towards restoring my 1999 KX 125 and this vid goes beyond any imagination
I have a 1998, when I bought it it ran and rode, with a few issues but otherwise a good bike. I got it for $850. Currently it needs some parts and it is broken down but I'm heading towards fixing it. I have done tons of work to it previously but still have a long journey ahead of me.
Good luck!!👍
How’d it go I’m working on a 2000 kx125
Thanks for your video
It's a bran new bike. But without the cost of new. I'm sure the updates cost some, what a good job. Not your first time turning wrenches. Thanks again
the report is fascinating but the music is unbearable
its really not easy to pick the music for 30min that is copyright free and pleases majority of people..
But look, I spent $12000.00 and now I have a $12800.00 125 when I could have bought a brand new KTM for $7300.00 AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO.
Yea that’s right.. its not about the money tho, guys who build these project bikes are not looking for profit, its a labor of love, very satisfying work, and we even like the fact that its a lot of work. Once its all done and you see the accomplishment it feels so much better than looking at 2020 bike.
The gopro clips sounded like wet farts
This is insane and just off the hook cool. Well done to the technicians behind superb
Thank you! really glad you enjoyed it
My 2 stroke just got back from the workshop, started first kick but didn’t hold idle and than just didn’t start from there. What could be wrong and how can I fix it?
you need to adjust the carburetor, check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/8ax1tdBJCJ4/v-deo.html
Brasileiro chega chora 😢
Quando ver o preço é a diferença kkkkk
Exactly how I want to get my kx85 done!!!!! Finally found a video like this
cool man!
Why would you jank fit a 08 kx250 radiator shroud on their if you want a newer look why not have gotten the polisport restyle kit?
I prefer the look of the '08 shroud over the newer style. Thanks for checking out the video though!
Great video!! A+++++ What tool did you use for to hold the clutch basket still while you tightened it up? They look like vice grips, I can't find it on ebay, and I think I'm looking up the wrong keywords. Thanks, Cheers!
Thanks! I used a Tusk clutch holding tool from Rockymountainatvmc.com
www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/tusk-clutch-holding-tool-p
Nothing better than opera music and dirtbikes
Long live the two stroke.
Yell at him 4 no gasket on the cases
No center case gasket on a 2003 KX125, used Kawabond liquid gasket👍
Where do you buy those tire stickers?
they are not for sale, for promo only
What an epic build, I'm happy you gave life back to that poor KX. Nice job.
Here in 2021, you'd be lucky to find a 125 for anything under $2500. Dang, I miss the $800 days.
Yea that’s right, I miss it too
but where do you get the dunlop tire stickers ?
Nice video! What was up with that coolant? Ewwww!
yea.. been sitting for a loong time
Man.....I realy diged Beetohoven 9th symphony.!!! Was fucking nice!!
cool man!!
That turned out amazing absoultely beautiful bike. Great job👏
thanks, glad you like it!
Wow 🔥 good job bike looks absolutely sick
What was up with the audio on the test clip
gopro sucks sometimes
When you said Mike Fisher I was hoping it was going to be a 1990 KX 125 😞 he helped develop those bikes and was riding them in 1987 or 1988, must have looked like aliens had just dropped them out the sky to those that witnessed him riding them way back then, still nice looking bikes now 👍🏼
I loved the 1990 250kx awsome bike
👍👍👍😜🏴🦄🎣😁✌️
@@chopperhehehe pulpmx.com/2010/12/05/tell-us-another-story-mike-fisher/ "build was done by Michael Fischer working closely with Jay Clark" is that a mis spelling or different person? 👍🏼
Nice one just had a look all my mates had hondas and yamaha and one husqvarna mine was like a rolls Royce over the bumps absoluly loved that bike stick out as most happy bike lol chears for the info 👍👍👍😜🏴🦄😁✌️
@@RodDuster Was built by myself, Michael Fischer out of Omaha, Nebraska! Long road trip to California to shoot this one. Hope you like the build👍
beautiful built Michael!
Fantastic platform for a rebuild, I had the 02 and 03 version of that machine... wish I could find one today... great job enjoyed the video
Thanks 👍
Impresionante la restauración de la moto! Saludos desde Argentina
what year and model triple clamps did u have to order for this bike?
It is off a 2011 KX250f
Great video and wow that bike is sick looking. Awsome job and keep posting these videos.
thanks, will do my best !
I’m looking for plastic kit for my Honda crf100 I can’t find anything
On honda.com there is plenty and ebay there is lots
try ufo platics usa.com
ufo is good option, or ebay too
Me iss Indonesia 🇮🇩🇮🇩🇮🇩.is good 😁😁
Very nice =D
Epic! Nothing else but Epic.
Wow wow wow is all I can say.. Amazing job done here bro 🤟🤟👍
yea, it came out great!
Just add cool kx 👍
what year of plastics did you use on this one, it doesnt seem like an 03 tho
They are the shrouds off a 2008 KX450f. I produce the bracket kits to make them work on 2003 and newer KX’s. If interested fell free to message me on Instagram @fischer927 or send me an email at mfischer927@gmail.com. Thanks!
I'd love to see a cost breakdown.
Im surprised Jay still even talks to you after the side by side incident lol
Haha, That made us even better friends 😉
Who made the graphics beautiful motorcycle.
Alicia Caldera graphics are by Elusive Graphics👍
Wow, thanks for the websites. I'm going to try to get a KDX125 from 1996 back into working shape, man it's hard to find parts for it. Any other suggestions for engine rebuild parts is appreciated.
Please tell me that wasn’t gasket maker you used in the bottom end
Comes like that from the factory no center case gasket on these bikes👍 thanks for watching!
I would dream to have that knowledge of yours and restore my own dirt bike sometime
best way to learn is by doing, plus youtube helps too
There's no way you only spent 800
Awesome build btw
$800 on the bike in the crates, those first pics in the beginning of the video
Wow! What and awesome build, Great looking bike
That was great
thanks Marcel!
This transformation was very very epic, hard AMD expensive ! You are awesome guy,i saw you love that ! 😎✌
How much can I buy that off u I’m 13😂
This is epic..brother 😍
glad you like it!
Eeeeek! Going to pickup a kx125 in a few hours….fingers crossed it isn’t clapped out. Great video
Just stripped a 1991 yz 125 evo in the garage to rebuild and restore bk to original.gona b epic when finished
cool Matt, good luck!
Hello, I have a question. I have a 2001 kx 250 and would like to install newer dampers. Which tripleclap do I need and which suspension can you recommend to me. need urgent help thanks
Could anyone picture this bike metallic purple with gun metal or white trim? Or any other metallic color with gun metal or white trim? we usually always see stock colors. Would be nice to see a change!! Love this bike, and very well done friend!! Thank you for sharing!!!
If you don’t mind me asking, how much did this build end up costing when all said and done?
Ryan Seney yeah these builds are awesome but I bet stupidly expensive
@@sebastianmoreno1568 Exactly. You buy an $800 bike, and spend $5-$6k in parts. Then its worth $3k. Fun if you have the money to burn.
Jeff Brennan I know right. There’s no resell value but it you have the money I bet it’s a boat load of fun. Thing looks sick
@@MXJEFF94 I believe it's more than that. A-kit itself costs $6k.
Billions and billions and billions and billions
What happens to the bikes after you have finished them great job by the way 👍
ride them or sell them.. depends
You must know a fair bit of engine knowledge to pull apart engine casings and pull the gearbox to bits and then re build it all back together I’ve been a motor vehicle mechanic for 40 years but would be scratching my head at pulling a two stroke gearbox apart fair play to you my friend 👍
Magnifique from France😉😉
Nice build👍🏼
Man that bike would look horrible without the graphics it's actually pretty impressive how graphics puts the whole bike together
Random question but does anyone know where I can find a stand like that?
you mean the one from works connection? you can get it on their website
The one in the video is a Pit Posse lift stand. Works awesome!
www.pitposse.com/pit-posse-scissor-lift.html
Nice work👌👌🤟
TIP... Mute the video and put your own music on!! Great build, poop music haha
hard to find free music that will please all of you guys ;)
You can also speed up the video if its to slow
ok, one has to admit that, even if this work is a bit useless as far as the starting bike is already a very good one, the final bike is, after your work, perfect. but what you guys do with the old parts?
mine still laying around in the boxes.. some I gave away.. sometimes you can sell them..
I just got a 1995 kx125 but cant find a full top and bottom rebuild kit for a 1995. Does anyone know if any other rebuild kits newer than 1995 would fit it?
Very good job
thanks Joe, glad you like it!
I have motocross and I am 11 years old
When I was 5 years old ,my dad buy for me an motocross because I love this hobby
And I am from Greece
Great video! How long did it take to build it?
Tyler Young thank you! Started late December and finished at the end of June. So I’d say roughly around 6 months.
Your videos have me wanting to buy a bike. So if your not sponsored you definitely should be!
Thanks Scott, i have few companies helping with the builds.
I feel like you took my recommendation to try riding 125s!
haha, I think I will stick to 4 strokes for the track.. feel like I am too old to learn how to ride 125 on the track
An Abused Top End.... I bet the person who rode this bike never gave 2 thoughts of warming up the bike before a ride, not to forget ever topping up the coolant levels.
This came out beautiful!!!! Was curious when you do total rebuilds like this do you ever sell them? Love ur channel. Rainy day today so ill be binge watching you all day!! Awesome work!!!🤘
hey Chris, yes I do sell the bikes sometimes.. depends
@@dirtniron are you able to profit on your rebuilds that you sell?
Two much stickers! Didnt like it! Gets a 👎 for me... sadly to destroy a such pretty bike with so many stickers! 😕😞
That was a sick watch !!
What is the point in making a video like this that you watch in fast forward. He said " your going to love it". I didnt get anything out of it. Did every body love watching this?
Does he know its still just a Kawasaki?!?! 🤣. Just kidding! Sick build!! Sounds strong too.
;)
I dont get the Kawasaki black plastic. Green fender? I could see Kawasaki green plastic in its entirety with any accent colors one would choose . Green plastic, not black.wtf
Can you donate me a bike I'm always watching you're videos i loce motocross but i cant afford bike😶😥😣
Awesome looking bike been looking for them Dunlop tyre stickers every where no joy yet 👍
Snap can't find them either 😞
🏴
yea, they are not for sale thats what I heard, only for sponsored riders and promotions
where did u get the dunlop tyre sticker?
from dunlop, they are not for sale, for promo only..
