There are some minor points you missed: like split saves on the train (splitting your journey into sub-journeys for a large discount); and the fact that you can attach your railcard to your Oyster card for 33% off off-peak travel. Delay repay is another good one for UK trains: claiming monetary compensation for delayed/cancelled trains. Never heard of employers paying commuting costs though: that would help my 10K annual commuting costs haha
