I have a question about the card you used to pay in the bus, how can I get it and can it be used in all UK or just in specific areas ?
The one I used is called “get me there card”, it’s for greater Manchester. I basically had to recharge it before hand for the month, you can recharge for a week as well. You can check what’s available in the region you are in

Yes there are cause in the beginning of the video you can see when there was a red sign showing that you can come down from the bus and take the train or a cab etc

No you pay with your card if buying from your phone and you can pay with cash at the counter

Yes that works too but paying for the week or month is cheaper which is what I do

@@gracehenryO if you’re in greater Manchester, you’ll need to apply for a “get me there” card. You can recharge it at the interchange or at convenient stores. If you aren’t in greater Manchester region, you might need to make enquiries of what’s available in your region

I have trouble with knowing which side of the road to be if there are 2 opposite bus stops that google map is leading me to.
Like I mean, having a bus stop on the side you’re on, and the other side of the road when you cross. I almost missed an interview because I was on the wrong side of the road… the bus took me further and then back to where I was coming from because I was meant to cross to get the bus. please help
Hi, you can know by checking the destination of the bus, it shows that on google map and on the bus. Also when you zoom in on the map, it shows a direction arrow on the road, that will tell you the direction cars are going in and you’ll be able to know where to stand to get your bus. Hope this helps

Helpful? Yeah, sure. The only problem I find with Google Maps when checking out bus routes is many are inaccurate. I wouldn’t say totally wrong, but there’s certainly some issues when GM thinks you can get a bus down some very narrow streets!
Unfortunately, Google Maps app in Android doesn't show bus stop numbers with bus stop icons displayed along the roads.
It's a significant drawback.
