Very helpful video! I am doing rust repair on my 62, so this panel along with a new roof will help. Sadly some other areas I'll have to fabricate since nobody makes or sells those panels for a 62 yet. A pillar and above the doors inside. Thanks.
At the beginning of the video you said you were gonna work on getting this old guy out of here but then you came right back. Another good video even with the old guy.
Hard work Dave, but thanks to an engineer who built the stamping and you for putting in, makes it sound and look easy. Good time to buy a 5 gallon bucket of Vise-Grips. Tech tip; Each manufacturer of panel adhesive has its own working time, cleaning to surface for prep and temperature range. Ask, call or read up on the product you may purchase. Dave, good explanation! I think “Smoosh” is a technical term. I have looking for a way to include this word in my daily vocabulary. “Honey, can you “Smoosh” some butter between those pancakes?” That works for me! Thanks to Dave and Brothers, I already feel smarter!
@@billknight964 That is one great skill set! As long as she didn’t use her arm pit or knees! I would be sleeping with one eye open though, in a different room!

Thanks for the tip Dean!
I used to ask my wife to crush my beer cans. I think Smoosh is a better word.

another good how to video!
Appreciate the comment!
Small window looks so much better. Wonder if they have a conversion kit for a Split Window Coupe Corvette too.
How about doing this to a 55 to 59? Also the common rusted out piece between the top of windshield and roof?
Do you have any plans for 62 66 front hood patch panel lower Video?
No, but that's a great suggestion! Thanks!
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV I think it will help sell more panels and guys can save some money fixing hoods. Every one wins?
Mine has a small window and gonna keep it. It has factory power steering and AC
Can you do a video on the lower-hood patch panel on 63 to 66 Chevy truck
We'll work on that! Thanks for the suggestion.
What is the glue you use fo the inside ?

Gotta use what's in the toolbox!
which is more desirable small window or big window??
It's all personal preference.
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV ooh okay because I just got a 64 small window i will be buying parts from you guys soon
What would something like that cost for you guys to do?

@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV thank you guys
@@giovannigonzalez2466 Dave does amazing work! Definitely worth the call.
Why do people like to convert from small to big back window? I like the privacy
Hard to find drill bits that hold their edge
How about 55-59?
Unfortunately no Big Window conversion is available at the moment for 55-59. Keep your fingers crossed!
@@BROTHERSTruckPartsTV I will. Thanks
I just don't understand why folks don't like the small window.
inexpensive spot weld cutters are not worth it, I found a quality sharp drill bit was much better or spend the money on a high end cutter.
I have a big window cab for sale
Is it possible to do a big to small window conversation. It's a 58 and I love the small windows
