I really enjoyed the more in-depth instruction on this one, I feel it’s often missed out on a lot of UA-cam videos and it’s so important no matter how experienced you are to check in sometimes and remind ourselves of form. Loved this and what a great start to the day. Thank you Lottie
Loving this 24-day challenge so far, and I'm encouraged by all the people doing it and commenting about it! I am having trouble with the roll-ups, particularly with pressing my low back to the ground and not having my legs come up as I try to roll up. If you have any pointers on how to improve this, I would love to know! Thank you :)
Love this advent challenge Lottie. Thank you so much for setting such an interesting and fun set of classes. I have been a daily devotee of your classes all through lockdown since March as I have been shielding and unable to attend my gym. You have helped keep body and mind sane. 😁
Love the idea of going to back to basics. Just as we tell our ballet/dance students, it's important to work on form and technique in a slower class to enhance improvement. Thank you Lottie. Romana is shining through you!!!!
You are so right that this one required patience! I found myself feeling frustrated for not being able to do all the moves, but I am glad I stuck with it anyway. Thanks for acknowledging the challenge paying attention to detail is!
Lottie is a true gem. she is the best pilates instructor out there. Thank you so much for sharing these routines with us. I am enjoying the December challenge a lot. xxx
Oh, also, your verbal instruction through the videos is great - i can just listen and focus on my body and not have to keep checking the TV to see what I'm supposed to be doing 👍🏼🙏🏼
I think yesterday’s class you made me realise I hadn’t been holding myself properly doing clams etc, I feel the work today (but not too much) which is nice. Another great class today, I was worried when I saw the length of the video but was completely doable! Ty.
Lottie! SO GLAD we recently found your channel! Just finished Day 9 & loved it & loving you! You seem like such an authentic person & so while I’m staring at you during Pilates I keep wondering “what’s her natal chart look like”? What is her Ascendent. vs what is your Moon and Sun. 😂 About a year ago I fell deep into the astrology rabbit hole and now these are the thoughts when I see someone interesting, with a spark! I’d be honored to look it all up for you (no charge obviously since stemmed from my desire)! 😅. Thank you for your light and classes!
Thank you Lottie! We are so glad that we found you. I'm trying to get moving after tearing and intercostal muscle a few weeks ago and my wife has found your classes help ease tension (she has stopped getting daily migraines). We also laughed a few times during this one and love your chat 👏👏👏
Thank you Day 8 and today (day 9) changed something in my body. I’ve been working on opening my hips but after these videos I finally feel aligned and I’m standing taller.
thoroughly enjoyed this longer class!! started the challenge a bit late but am very much enjoying the variety and the building upon previous sessions! Thanks Lottie
Wow! Amazing class, Lottie. Thank you. The details are so vital and so often missed as we move through a movement. I could feel my spine shifting and aligning in new ways. Will be repeating day 9 often. Love it!
Only started following the challenge from yesterday, I'm sore but loving it and this is what I needed, super helpful as I haven't been moving much at all since working from home! Hope I can keep up with the rest of the challenge.
Great all-round class..... nice how you make us focus on finding the correct positions for some of the excercises we become a bit complacent with and unknowingly develop some bad practices! Well done... x
I am doing the 24 day challenge in January! LOL! I’m a bit late but loving these classes. Before COVID I was an avid in studio, reformer Pilates class fan. I’ve always struggled with the mat classes but these are excellent. A great way to switch from reformer to mat. This class was especially good with the focused attention on the center because I have found that I have a hard time getting the C curve correct. Going slowly and really focusing in on this one thing was very helpful! Thanks Lottie!
Thank you Lottie! I've done all of the days of the challenge so far and im really enjoying It. I love the variety and the time dedicated to going back to basics!
This was my favourite of the 9 days so far (though I have loved every class ❤️) Brilliant sequence and instruction. I am really finding my way back to Pilates from doing these bite size classes. Thank you so much Lottie x
I needed this so much! I've always struggled with this, & it never made sense, because I have pretty decent ab strength! In yoga, the only guidance is "pull in your belly button" (when it's so much more than that!) or "pull into your midline" (which helps, but is still abstract). I feel like, after this, I FINALLY get it & have some of a feel for how to do this now!! Thank you! I'd love more videos on this concept to help reinforce & practice it specifically. I'm on Day 16 today, & I feel like I'm going to have to go back & rewatch this for a refresher! 😬 IDK why this isn't more intuitive to my body!!
I haven’t done it yet but just to say I’m so excited and thank you so much for this 24 days of Pilates I have loved it, even though it’s my first time doing Pilates ever!! This has really got me into jt
Finally working through the days I didn’t do and enjoyed this, great to be able to pick a routine and choose what feels right for the day and my body- thanks
THANK U SO MUCH FOR TODAY. ITS MY NINTH DAY AS YESTERDAY I DID DAY 11 AS MY BACK WASNT DOING WELL. I ABSOLUTELY LOVED TODAY. YOU ARE AMAZING AND YOUR WORKOUTS ARE PERFECT FOR PEOPLE WITH CKD. LOW IMPACT BUT TRULY ON FIRE. LOVE THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME SO MUCH CONFIDENCE IN THAT I CAN GET BACK TO WHO I WAS BEFORE CKD FOUND ME. THANK U SO VERY MUCH. P.S. I ALSO LOVE THE LONGER WORKOUTS
Great class as always Lottie! I love going back and taking time to focus more and OMG I did those standing leg openers with my class the other week and some other ones added on and they are a killer. Have a great day! Xx Emma xx
I’ve been needing a deeper connection class, so thank you for this one. I struggle with roll ups to a frustrating level. Is there a regression or a specific exercise that I can do to work on whatever it is that’s weak in my body? I also really struggle with the C curve, and feeling my center (I suspect the two weak performances are related). I will definitely return to this class when the challenge is over. Practice makes perfect? Practice makes better, or perfect takes time. At any rate, practice. Thank you, Lottie! ❤️
Dear Lottie, I am a little late to the game, as I am at day 9 right now. But I am loving your daily pilates Input. I feel like you explain everything very well and at a good pace. But this one today, this workout was especially great! It felt like a breeze and was over so soon. But concentrating really well on the isolated parts of the body was a wonderful experience. So thank you very much and happy Christmas. Lots of Love over from Austria! :)
Was dreading the thought of more core work but actually rather enjoyed this. One thing I do struggle with is knowing how my spine should be at different times: when it should be neutral with a gap between the low back and the mat, and when the low back should be pressed into the floor. I've heard so much conflicting advice from different teachers over the years. Any tips?
Morning Lottie day nine and I am still with you battling for space with a Christmas tree these days LOL x have a great day I am loving the variety of the classes
Sometimes it's great to practice the basics and concentrate on good form and connecting to the body instead of doing crazy complicated exercises. Really enjoyed that. And I'm glad you didn't slip on your cream covered mat... 😉
This one was different in a really useful way. Personally I find there's a point half-way through the roll downs and curl ups where I just stall, either falling down or unable to curl up anymore. I assume I just need more centre work? Any guidance?
This was amazing as usual! But I did struggle with the left elbow during the side oyster, I hope I'm not the only one out there always having some extra struggle with side positions ;)
ANother good one. I can't sit up from lying due to lower back pain but very good core workout. Lottie the classes aftr day 11 all say "private video". Do you need to change the settings or something?
Hey thanks so much for your videos, really enjoying them :) just had a quick question. When I’m lying on my back and doing the rolling up, my legs come up everytime. Should I allow this to happen or is there an alternative move I should be doing?
loved this one! one thing i am terrible at though is the roll ups/downs, to go up i cant do it with my core alone and my legs come up/i have to use my arms lol, and then with rolling down i can get so far and then i have a little fast bit in the middle. since starting your classes it has gotten better but i'm not quite there yet haha x
Ah that's wonderful you've noticed some improvement, it does take time and can also be a lot of factors not just the core that make the roll ups challenging for many. You are doing so well x
Ah you definitely have one, it's just about connecting to it and getting it to help you out; the roll ups are hard and it's common for the legs to want to come off the floor, try bending your knees or even adding a little weight to your feet by getting someone to lightly hold them for assistance or put your feet against a wall to keep some resistance there, keep working from your centre and finding the deep c curve. It will come. L
I wished this one was in-person - not sure I’m keeping the alignment properly without someone to observe and check. I had trouble with my wrists on the plank/roll ups with the 3 hand steps. Maybe need to engage my core more to prevent excess weight on the hands? I also have a history of injury in my right hand/wrist and sometimes just doing plank activities aggravates it, so I often do those with my hands in fists. Any suggestions?
Hi Tracy, ah I know I wish I could teach you all in person, that would be the dream. So yes that's quite a common flair up, doing the planks on your elbows/fists is a good modification. If the walk ups from plank are too much then just practice the roll downs and come to your knees to walk out. If you have prolonged pain, it's always good to check in with a physiotherapist for some specific plans/exercises to help. Lots of love, Lottie x
I really enjoyed the more in-depth instruction on this one, I feel it’s often missed out on a lot of UA-cam videos and it’s so important no matter how experienced you are to check in sometimes and remind ourselves of form. Loved this and what a great start to the day. Thank you Lottie
Thanks so much for doing this longer routine! Love when they’re over 20 minutes.

ME too......!!!
Love this slow and focused routine, it's like meditation. There is no room to think of anything else!
I love that! That is absolutely it! Thank you Ingrid x
Love this advent challenge Lottie. Thank you so much for setting such an interesting and fun set of classes. I have been a daily devotee of your classes all through lockdown since March as I have been shielding and unable to attend my gym. You have helped keep body and mind sane. 😁

This series is GENIUS! So much variety of exercises, different pace and focus every day. It's a real delight. Thank you so much!!!
This is the one challenge I’ve been interested in keeping up with. I love all your classes. Thank you so much for doing this for us.
You are my favorite pilates instructor! Thank you for this gem
Oh, also, your verbal instruction through the videos is great - i can just listen and focus on my body and not have to keep checking the TV to see what I'm supposed to be doing 👍🏼🙏🏼
"we practiced this!" . I laughed out loud! truly felt like we were in the same room practicing together. thanks lottie!
I think yesterday’s class you made me realise I hadn’t been holding myself properly doing clams etc, I feel the work today (but not too much) which is nice. Another great class today, I was worried when I saw the length of the video but was completely doable! Ty.

Thank you Day 8 and today (day 9) changed something in my body. I’ve been working on opening my hips but after these videos I finally feel aligned and I’m standing taller.
I really am enjoying the variety you offer in your classes! Thanks, Lottie 🌺
loved this one soo much! i just finished it and i feel soo good after this! thankyou so much! hope i continue doing this all the way until day 24:)
Ah amazing Sasha, thank you! Hope you love all the routines coming up to x
thoroughly enjoyed this longer class!! started the challenge a bit late but am very much enjoying the variety and the building upon previous sessions! Thanks Lottie
This day 9 challenge was different yet much needed to get in tune with our center. Thank you! Looking forward for tomorrow, day 10.
Wow! Amazing class, Lottie. Thank you. The details are so vital and so often missed as we move through a movement. I could feel my spine shifting and aligning in new ways. Will be repeating day 9 often. Love it!
So happy you enjoyed the detail in this routine! xx

I found your channel only 6 months after you posted it! I've following the movements daily and it's been very therapeutic.
Loved the attention to detail and really becoming aware of the core using breath support, thank you!
I love this series!! Now I'm practising every day ! Thank you so much.
I needed this so much! I've always struggled with this, & it never made sense, because I have pretty decent ab strength!

Thank Lottie - nice to have a bit of a longer one today x
Loved this long and steady session! Thanks so much for all the new routines!!!
Great class. I loved the emphasis on focus and connection.
Finally working through the days I didn’t do and enjoyed this, great to be able to pick a routine and choose what feels right for the day and my body- thanks
Ah amazing Jen, thank you. That's what they are 100% there for, to let you choose one that feels right for you that day x
really good pilates classes! I also appreciate that you keep reminding us of the posture we should adopt, details of it and so on... :)
I'm doing the 24 day challenge and loving it!! Helped me so much getting back into a routine. Thank you so much❤
I loved this class and the attention to detail. Thank you for this class and the entire series.
Absolutely loved this one! I'm super excited for tomorrow xx

Thank you so much for this routine! the instructions were really helpful and I loved that it was a longer session x
Thank you so much Lottie! Looking forward for tomorrow :)
Love your long routines! Thanks
Your roll-ups though. I promise I will get there and be able to do them without any momentum. Some day. Practice. Practice. Practice. Love you!
THANK U SO MUCH FOR TODAY. ITS MY NINTH DAY AS YESTERDAY I DID DAY 11 AS MY BACK WASNT DOING WELL. I ABSOLUTELY

another great class Lottie! loved the attention to the detail! can't wait untill my 3 friends are practicing this one!
So glad you enjoyed this one Claudine and benefitted from the attention to detail, it's what makes Pilates so magic. See you on the mat again soon x
You're appreciated, Lottie! 🌸
Great class as always Lottie! I love going back and taking time to focus more and OMG I did those standing leg openers with my class the other week and some other ones added on and they are a killer. Have a great day! Xx Emma xx
Great class; wonderful instructor
Another great class, Lottie! Really appreciated the instructions in this routine :)
thank you Lottie each day I love pilates more! still struggling with center/abs squeeze but I'll get there :)
lots of love

Did this yesterday, really good workout! Thanks! 💖
This was fantastic! I learned so much.
Glad I did this one!
Lovely class, thank you Lottie!
Fantastic workout 👍👍.... looking fw to tomorrow 😄
Really nice this one. Considering how long this one took, it’s really not worth looking at the length of this video and just get into the flow of it.
Thank you so much! Really enjoyed today!🤗
Challenging! It was a very interesting class today 💪

That's so wonderful to hear, I am so glad you enjoy my style of teaching. Lots of love to you in Austria. Lottie x
I like practising with you, also because of your accent which is so soft, great for my ears.
This was a wonderful workout! Thank you!
I REALLY enjoyed this one. Thank you for all you share with us! PS been meaning to tell you how much I like your "new" branding/aesthetic 👌🏼
Oh thank you Tiana, so glad you enjoyed this routine x
I love this class so much! Thank you!❤
Glad you enjoy it! One of my faves too! x

Ah that's wonderful you have your Christmas tree by you with your Pilates sessions Debbie, lots of festive love and happy day 9! x
Amazing! Thanks Lottie. X
I'm on Day 9! Thank you, Lottie! ❤
Ah amazing!

Favorite episode ever! *points finger* "We practiced this!" XD
I enjoyed the precise work today. And I have a question. How do you breath in the side plank clam shells and pulses?
Hi - you looked like Neo with your precision in the alternating table top maneuver. :)
Thank you for sharing us!
My pleasure! x
Thanks Lottie.
Day 1- day 9 done 💖
ANother good one. I can't sit up from lying due to lower back pain but very good core workout. Lottie the classes aftr day 11 all say "private video". Do you need to change the settings or something?

Love love love your routines Lottie 🥰 also where are your cute little tops u are wearing in this video and Day 8 from? X
Ah they are from Free People, I love them in all colours hehe. I think I linked them in the description box x
Lottie Murphy Thank you ☺️ yes I think I’ll need all colours too x
Ok Day 9 Done
Lottie!! Thank u so much ♡
What if I dont have a suport system??
How am I doing the roll ups without floating the legs? How can I work on that??
Ah you definitely have one, it's just about connecting to it and getting it to help you out; the roll ups are hard and it's common for the legs to want to come off the floor, try bending your knees or even adding a little weight to your feet by getting someone to lightly hold them for assistance or put your feet against a wall to keep some resistance there, keep working from your centre and finding the deep c curve.
