    Not everyone wants to ride 30 km/h but thanks for the great calculator page David. If you are building a board for transportation, then this ratio is great and get's you around in traffic just fine. I have this same ratio on my electric board and it works great for getting me around and doesn't drain my batteries. Thanks for the DIY video.

    Svaka čast! Vrhunski odrađeno.
    Razmišljam o izradi sličnog, al bi htio da mi strujo uskoći samo tu i tamo, većinom na nagibima.
    Po tvom iskustvu jeli 'hvatanje' polova magneta pri odgurivanju bez gasa na kontroleru toliko izraženo da ga je nemoguće koristi bez pomoći elektromotora?

    • @petracargonja8799
      @petracargonja8799  7 років тому

      Arch Stanton moze se koristiti samo za odguravanje, ali se osjeti otpor, ne bi se isplatilo samo za nagibe koristiti

    At 7:59: "More Voltage will give you more distance". I'm not sure about that. I thought that more Voltage will give you more power (speed) and more mAh will give you more distance. To get more mAh, you need to connect more batteries in parallel, to get more Voltage, you need to connect the matteries in series. Is that correct?
    Nice board, by the way. Good diy project.

    Pozdrav napravio sam el skejt samo sto sam pravio jeftinu verziju sa obicnim dc motorom od 150w 24v i dve baterije od po 12v i 2.4Ah ide onako slab je za mene pa me zanima ako bi mogla da mi pomognes koji malo jeftiniji brushless motor da kupim i esc posto se ne razumem bas u to toliko nikada nisam radio sa tim motorima a najvise jeftiniji zbog carine itd... a da ne moram da menjam baterije nego da mogu da povezem na ove...

    I would like to make a four wheel drive electric skateboard. I've bought two motors and two VESC's with a Nano remote control. haven't got the parts yet, but wanted to know if I need a different remote control or what sort of electronics to make a 4 motor electric skateboard?

  • @saturos7672
    @saturos7672 5 років тому +1

    the battery is way to low...
    the motor can handle 37V.. that means you could take a 10s battery or 2x 5s batterys in series to get 37V.
    then your motor would me more powerful and way more efficient.
    also 5000mah is not that much.. so you cannot drive very long with thos LiPos :( but great video :)

    I was looking for buying the same ESC but the brake settings made me wondering. Can you brake in a good way? My old one was too hard or too soft and therefore it was not good for riding on streets with cars. Please tell us about your experience.
    My second question is: The ESC should be water cooled but you cool it with air. Does it get hot or worksit fine even after 30min of riding?

    • @petracargonja8799

    • @petracargonja8799

      I use longboard for ride to the collage, I drive it on the sidewalk because the streets here in Zagreb are to fast for e-board, so I usually go around 20 km/h or less. I always slow down on the crosswalk for safety. I checked the ESC for heat and it was cool after almost riding it for 30 min so I dont have problem with that.

    Super DIY video , planiram napraviti slicno ovako nesto svojoj curi :) Zanima me kako ste programirali ESC? Ono za programiranje low woltage cut to mi je sve jasno ali me pored toga zanima dali se moze na neki nacin oslabiti startnost i ubrzanje.. kako bi se ESC manje grejao.. Procitao sam na vise mesta da su ti jeftini hobbyking ESC'ovi losi i da brzo krepaju :/
    Bas me zanima kako vas taj vas ESC sluzi

    • @petracargonja8799
      @petracargonja8799  7 років тому

      Igor Tomic nama se za sad uopce ne grije i sve super radi, kao sta si vjerovatno vidio stavili smo aluminij oko esc za svaki slucaj, imas za isprogramirati lagano ubrzanje tak da to nebi trebao biti problem

    • @ToMiTj
      @ToMiTj 7 років тому

      E pa da to .. To mi je bitno.. Sobzirom da je snaga tom vasem sistemu oko 2000w mislim da je sasvim razumno smanjiti malo ubrzanje i na taj nacin cuvati kontroler ... a i baterijama produziti zivotni vek :) Koliko imate dometa sad, jel izvucete 5-10km? Vidim da su multistarove LiPo baterije ponovo na akciji , jako dobar izbor ako se ide na kapacitet/domet.. Ali je mana sto su samo 10C pa ih nije bas preporucljivo muciti sa nekim jakim ESC kontrolerom ;/

    • @petracargonja8799
      @petracargonja8799  7 років тому

      Igor Tomic motor od 2kW je previse jer nikad ne dostizem tu snagu, i bez problema se narihta slabije kretanje. Do sad sam do kojih 8km uspijela, modernom voznjom

    • @ToMiTj
      @ToMiTj 7 років тому

      Snaga se najvise koristi pri startu i ubrzanju.. Posle prilikom odrzavanja brzine trosi se mnogo manje energije negde oko 500-1000w zavisno koliko brzo ides.. Dakle ti tvojih 2kw mozes samo da osetis kad ga od nule napanjis onako bas posteno :)

    Koliko je težak board sa svime? Ja sam napravio skoro pa identičan takav, jedino sam stavio 4 batke po 5200mAh :) Imam dosta tih baterija, i dijelova, od različitih letećih modela koje imam. Uzeo sam kad su bile na popustu na HK (Multistar, zelene). Sve skupa board mi je težak skoro 9kg. Sad eksperimentiram pomalo sa svime, od elektronike, do mehanike, kotača, ovjesa, LED diode ću stavit naprijed i natrag itd..Sljedeći korak je napraviti direct drive, bez ovog pojasnog prijenosa. Da se svašta složiti ako se ima volje i vremena. Ja sam gledao recimo ove komercijalne daske, tipa Evolve GT, cijene su astronomske! Mislim da je nasjkuplji model cca 2250€, + shipping, što nema nikakvog smisla. Možda za bogate hipstere ili tech royalty iz Silicijske doline. Uglavnom, lijepo se da ovako nešto u kućnoj radinosti napraviti. Za klince idealan projekt. Zainteresirati ih za inženjerstvo i tehnologiju. Mene je koštalo sve skupa cca 400€. Budem stavio neki video uskoro. Lijepi pozdrav iz Španskog.

    • @petracargonja8799
      @petracargonja8799  7 років тому +1

      mislim da sam izvagala i bilo oko 7,5 kg. I ja sam gledala prije izrade te komercijalne i preskupo je to za sada, možda u budućnosti. led diode bi bas lijepo izgledale i ispod, to ću ja u skoroj budućnosti napraviti. Kada stavis video pa javi da ga pogledam. Pozz

    You should really look into trying out another gearing ratio because I'm sure you'd be able to jack that speed up to 30 km/h.

    Hi guys, can I please ask you for an advice? I have very good trucks, but not useful for skateboard electric project. Do u think thats even possible to make the ends of trucks longer? Like 1,5x times? pict (imageshack.com/i/poz1424xj) about this part longer. Its possible to weld it like that? Its possible to have back trucks longer than front ones or I would have to make longer the front too? really dont want to replace good trucks with bad ones :/
    I am really glad and thankful for any help!!! Thanks

    It was painful to watch your lack of soldering skill. I thought my son to solder a few months ago and it took him 10 minutes of practice to get military level soldering technic. Nice DIY build though.

    hello, i have a question. i'm building a longboard for a school project and i'm thinking about using the same ESC as you are using. the only thing that i am worried about is overheating of the ESC because it should be water cooled. did you have any problems with overheating or does it stay cool.
    i hope to hear from you.
    bye
