    Mac does not have HOME so for the shortcut he stated you need to click Command Option FN and Left Arrow - will center the anchor point.

      Or you can simply change all your shortcuts, in Edit. ;)

    Good job! BTW: There is no need for a plugin to center the anchor point in a line, shape, or text. Simply press CMD + OPT (CTR + ALT) and double-click the Anchor Point icon.

    Caleb, this tutorial is ONLY the basic. What we were looking for is the way you make the SMOTH movements (how you tweek the easy ease speed) . Can you show this part which is more important!?

    I need help! Whenever I change the scale of one of my key frames it will change the scale of the other one too. Both the first and second one will be the same size not zero and 100. It's very aggravating.

      Joe Pelar That's awesome, man! Glad these tutorials are making a difference, and that the motion tool is working good for you!

      Aaaanywho. I remember in one of your videos where you said if the audience had any ideas for videos to let you know. What's the best way of summiting ideas to you? Do you have a voting page so people can vote for what they want next?

    Hey, Caleb or anyone... Do you know how to make the line expand (small to large and maybe skewed?)

  • @FelipeFrancisco8
    @FelipeFrancisco8 8 років тому

    +Caleb Lancaster Your example lines (at the beginning and at the end of the video) have some sort of easing animation, the animation has a slow start, then it goes faster while the line is growing and then it becomes slow again in the end of the animation. How do you do that? Also, great videos, love your tuts!

    • @caleblancaster
      @caleblancaster  8 років тому +1

      Take a look at this part of my kinetic typography tutorial, where I talk about keyframes and easing: ua-cam.com/video/LSKOBNMjaQY/v-deo.htmlm14s
      You'll see me easy ease the keyframes, open the graph editor, (with the speed graph open) and pull in the right point. That made a fast to slow movement. The graph editor is a visual representation of your keyframe movement. So if you want a slow to fast, then back to slow movement, you need to make your a hill on your graph. It should look like this: prntscr.com/dim9y5

    Caleb - as a teacher - if you dont tell the student a 100% of the solution - then that student only has a 99% idea of what ( you tried to ) explain to that student - instead of 221,000 hits you will have 2 MILLION hits - see the difference ?
