not long ago you'd only get black mirrors, door handles and body cladding on the base model - now people pay extra to have it back!

I’d like the brown two tone dash and it should have a black roof but I’d give the people mover a miss 😂

    Nissan X-trail SV+ or Nissan X-trail N-trek provides more fuel consumption (2024)

Most adventure is to the mall or soccerfield lol

Seems like such a waste. With a name like X-trail and N-trek it should do something cool and outdoorsy but it seems like its just a black edition xtrail.

It would be really useful for consumers if Drive could do a comparison test between FWD vs "AWD" cars and "off-road driving modes" in crossovers. In my opinion, these are merely pure marketing, contributing nothing to making such cars safer on-road or off-road, while relieving consumers of loads of cash in return for very little real ability that their non-AWD models can’t already match.

And the Toyota RAV4 hello.. it's been competing with it for 20 years

Tbh this version is much better than rav4. Earlier it was a competition but now it dropped. This new car feels luxury with budget meanwhile rav4 interior has no quality at all

@user-zx7mf8kh7p I think the styling is better too but seems like bias reporting.. they must have a bigger PR budget at Toyota

N Treck? 2.5L engine? Are you sure you read the specs?
    1. Sorry, I am not a Nissan nut bag, but it says what the model is at the back of the car.
    2. 2.5 litre engine. It is a 1.5 L. And you forgot to mention that the petrol engine does not drive the wheels. The electric motors do that, and the 1.5L petrol is only there to drive the electric motors.
Drive has really gone downhill since I left Australia.

You might have this car mixed up with the X-Trail e-Power models. The N-Trek isn't available with Nissan's hybrid system, so sticks with the 2.5-litre engine as found in the rest of the non-hybrid range. You can find more info on the e-Power, and the rest of the range at www.drive.com.au/showrooms/nissan/x-trail/

I find it very frustrating when people make sarcastic comments about a review when they clearly haven't watched and listened to the review in full, where everything was highlighted about the model range and engine choices.
Thanks Jessica, another great review, I find your presentation skills excellent and easy to listen to.
      Regards John
