Great video. I have the advanced chute on all my mowers. I will say this about it, I recently retired a mower with 2200 hours on it and took the advanced chute off and put it on the replacement mower. It now has a total of 2700 hours on it with no issues.
2:30 my JD z920m has mulch on demand with a lever and you can flip it while mowing. If your handles are adjusted so you can drive with one hand it’s not much of a problem. On deeres stand on mowers tiger mulch on demand has the electric motor to actuate it. Some have mentioned failed motors over time but I have no experience with that type of unit. When you compare the flats can you compare how strong they are and what would happen if you hit and object with it? I’ve bumped into boulders and hit hidden stumps with my flap while it open and closed and it hasn’t shown any damage on my mulch in demand system. It’s a John Deere only item but it’s build really heavy duty. The chute flap is 1/4” steel and the arms that attach to it are 1/2”-5/8” thick and have some serious welds. I can send pictures if you want.
Don’t buy advance chute if you have a walk behind. The handle sits forward too far to reach. When I contacted Advance chute to explain they told me to stop the machine and walk to reach …
The advance chute is hot garbage. It also sticks out from the deck when open and the handle sticks out from the deck when closed. the qwikchute has been my favorite since it’s flush with the deck AND opens half way if needed which is adjustable. I really want to try the grass flap though.
My only caveat is that I've heard that the quickchute for the ventrac finish deck directly connects to the 12 volt kit so you can control it with your sdla lever which would be quite nice.
I have the quick shoot. Using a zero turn is not a problem because you can use 1 hand to control both handles if you're experienced. Just my observation.
Looking at the grass flap, but was a bit concerned with the fact that it appears that the flap is 100% open and wouldn’t direct any rocks/debris out and downward like a factory discharge shield would do. Is there a way to open the flap partway (without having to hold down the pedal the entire time)? Maybe I’m overthinking on safety but I’d hate for a rock or something to fly out and hit someone/something.

Wow, Brad 309k subscribers. I remember when you pulled a 36" big dog on a harbor freight trailer behind your family's minivan. I'm so happy your venture is working out. Good job my friend.
My user experience with the Advanced Chute System with the product on my Kubota Z422 60" mower is 100% negative. Poor design overall results on 100% blowback on the rider when the gate is partially open (and even worse when fully closed). Add to that the cam brace that holds the chute partially open will flip out of the way the first bump you hit causing the door to fully close defeating the purpose. Save any comments about that I don';t have the tension on the cam bolt set correctly: set it too tight and it won't engage/release smoothly and too loose and you look at it wrong and it will disengage If your goal is to be completely covered in dust/debris when mowing when you're done the ACS is a great choice but otherwise it's a waste of $300.
Seems like this is for guys who don’t know how to mow their ithout blowing grass all over everything. 20 years of mowing and never used anything like this. Just learn how to mow properly and give a shit

I was thinking about the green guard chute blocker but I think I will look into the grass flap. Thanks for sharing

Can you explain why you prefer that over the others

The best is green guard from Jeremiah. I love his product and message. Of course you didn't even mention it
Nobody suggested it in the comments lol
