I have seen this brand on instagram before, I love the no drill mount option. That also would be the selling point for me. Great step by step instruction
I did quite a bit of research before landing on Grass Flap. The no drill mounts also sold me on the unit and the fact that this was made very well. I also loved the foot control option and not having to mess with grabbing a handle to control the chute blocker. I can't wait to test it out this spring. Thanks for watching!
The only thing i wish this had was a way to lock the flap in various locations. There is times i want it open but only to block the grass from going too far.
I have one on a 52” Arian’s Zero turn for 2 years now. No problems. One advantage of this unit is that when in the full UP position, it allows you to get real close on the right side of mower. So I can cut close on left side and right side. Hands on the handles and my foot resting on the Flap pedal. Recommended
It really is, I opted for this one due to the foot control - it's nice to be able to keep my hands on the bars instead of jacking around with a handle to control the flap. Thanks for watching John!
Yes it will bend, there are instructions they provide that show you how to bend the metal. I haven't had any issues without bending it but it is certainly doable. Thanks for watching!
nice! it will be interesting in the spring to see how it looks behind the mower around a pool or patio long run, nice mower! i always have to do a one way mow around them. i need a bigger mower
Do you have debris flying out of the front of the mower and back in your face? I just installed grassflap on my Kubota 421. I am getting covered in Grass and leave debris the entire time flap is down.
Looks like good quality, but I’d prefer the ability to press the foot lever to close it, not to open it. This way if I’m riding by a flower bed or something, I can close it for the brief moment it needs to be. The way it’s made, I’m holding it down during most of the mowing. It seems backwards to me.
You don't have to hold it down, you just simply push it and it opens and another push to close. It's really pretty well designed that way you can keep your hands on the sticks. Thanka for watching!
So when you press the pedal to raise it for normal mowing, it stays up, right? You don’t have to keep your foot pedal depressed to keep it open, do you?
Yea.. but.. $400?? Nope. I used a $26 Tahoe window motor and a double pull double throw self-centering rocker switch. Not only was it inexpensive, it’ll also go halfway to deflect downward if the wind is blowing clippings on me.
That is awesome that you have something that works for you! I understand this thing is pricey, but I made the dive after doing some research and thinking this fit my needs best. Thanks for watching!

What an awesome chute blocker. Greay video with installation instructions too 👏
Thank you! Cheers!

Yes I agree that would be a nice feature!
Use a reostat
This thing is awesome, great video instruction
It really is, thanks for watching!
This thing is awesome! Great video 👍
Such a great invention, I can't wait to mow with I this season and test it out. Thanks for watching!
I have one of these on my Scag and it is amazing. You will love it
That's great! I can't wait to use it this season. Thanks for watching!
That is a pretty slick chute blocker, I need to check this out for my mower for this spring. Thanks for sharing!
Very nice quality and thr foot pedal is awesome. Thanks for watching Gary!

That's awesome! Thanka for watching and commenting!
What a handy accessory!! ❤ thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
Definitely need a half open lock option.
If super windy you end up with too much grass down back / rocks commonly shoot up and could take out window
You can hold the foot pedal to keep it at a certain position in between as needed, but it doesn't lock that way. Thanks for watching!
I have never heard of them before, but this seems really nice. I can't wait to see it in action this season.
I'm very impressed with it, great quality and the foot pedal control works great. Thanks for watching Richard!
That looks nice, great video Justin
Thanks!
That looks like a handy add on. Nice mower.
I can't wait to use it this season. Thanka for watching!
Partial open option would be nice
You can accomplish this if you hold it halfway with your foot, but it wouldn't be feasible to do that the entire time. Thanks for watching!
That’s a cool add on

I have the same mower. Just ordered one. Will the slotted metal bend to take out that gap in the back of the plate ? I see some daylight back there.
Yes it will bend, there are instructions they provide that show you how to bend the metal. I haven't had any issues without bending it but it is certainly doable. Thanks for watching!

I can't wait to give it a shot this spring! Thanks for watching!
good info thanks!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
So your heated bend isn’t flush against your deck. Does that cause dust/grass to shoot up into air while blocker is down?
No I haven't had that issue to date. It was worked well with keeping things under the deck and out of the chute. Thanks for watching!
Do you have debris flying out of the front of the mower and back in your face?
I just installed grassflap on my Kubota 421. I am getting covered in Grass and leave debris the entire time flap is down.
I don't have that issue with mine. Does the debris come out of the rear of the flap where you had to bend it?
No it comes out in front of the mower, probably half of what I’m running over shoots out in front and blows up on me and my face
@@drewstrongitharm9680 Weird. Is it flush to the deck?
I love the fact that you don't have to drill into the mower to mount this. It looks pretty sweet 🔥
Thr no drill mount is what did it for me, it went on well, I can't wait to use it this spring!
I have the same one on my wright mower..it awesome

Green guard HD is better. No drill magnet mount and a powered blocker with toggle switch. Also no bolting my zt7000 bobcat loves it
I'm not familiar with that, I will have to check it out. Thanks for watching!
@TheLawnLover it's made by a small family business Jeremiah. It works great 👍
@@E.L.C. Bought a Green Guard from Jeremiah. I had some issues that I caused and he graciously got me up and running at no charge.

Correct. When it's up, it will stay up until you push the foot pedal again to put it down. Thanka for watching!
