great video...i am wanting to try the T200's ...am a 7 handicap...58 years old...graphite shaft...next year maybe..cheers from Vulcan Alberta....be safe everyone
I was fitted by Max for TSR 2 driver his spring and based on the results and all the previews of the T generation 3 irons I went to Max for an iron fitting. We worked thru the different T heads and shafts combinations and based on the Trackman data I ordered a T200/T150 combo set.
You are exactly in the same spot I am. I play ZX7 and MP-20s so I'm not able to train as much and the forgiveness of my current irons are keeping me in the gutter so I am seriously thinking about some game improvement irons. T150 and T200
Absolutely agree 💯. The 150’s are thicker and hit higher. I understand they wanted to reach more people with the 150’s and that is a pure business decision which obviously makes sense. I get plenty of distance and forgiveness with my S’s and esthetically I like a thinner top line
I did a free fitting and they fitted me into the t150s and they were awesome but $1600 isn’t in the budget yet so I’ll keep playing my older Facebook marketplace mizuno jpx800 pros lol. Awesome video as always
Great video, I ordered some t150s with the stiff Tensei Red shafts(club speed in low-mid 80s). Feel great and I have been loving them! I just need to hit the gym haha. I dropped the 4i and go to a 7w after that; best decision I ever made for my game.
@@NewNineGolf You're ball speed is nuts with that 2hybrid, I don't know how many clubs you have in the bag, but I would be curious to see how a 5w or 7w fits between your 5i and your 2 hybrid. Who knows fittings aren't my expertise haha. Looking forward to the next session of the fit.
I'm right there with you. What is your swing speed and how far are you hitting your 7 iron with the T100. Thinking of moving over from Taylormade and Srixon. Thanks.
Or something that probably bothers a club fitter or at least a new fitter is a inconsistent swing Or player especially when playing w different heads. Very interesting
I have the same hybrid and I absolutely crush it as well, so much confidence in the club. And the same issue with 3/4 irons. Just not consistent. Considering switching to a higher lofted hybrid to bridge that gap between 5 iron and 18 degree hybrid
Loved watching this - Was you actually consistently offlile left by 10-20 yards, or was the tracker not set up right? Your shots all looked bang on line but a lot of the grouping looked as if you was hitting diagonally across the field.
Thank you! I noticed that too after that fact. I think the camera was set up slightly and not directly behind so maybe just an optical illusion with the tracers. My flight was slightly left in real life.
Nice video! Titleist also offers Nippon Modus 125 and DG 120 X100 (lighter than the normal DG X100) shafts. You haven't tried these? These were the most suitable for me in the fitting.
Think most fittings are based on too-limited sample size. Need to replicate the findings over multiple sessions to have much confidence in the results, especially as fatigue can skew results.
Blade type iron, blade length, topline on the blade, shape of the blade. Sounds like he's using it as more of a descriptive. term of that part of the iron. Pretty sure he didn't confuse a T100 with a 681. Not that big of a deal really. Lol.
Did you not have the motors one 20 1/2 inch long which is a major problem that I see when I go to fittings I play 1 inch at least long and no one and I mean no one has a 1 inch long most of them don’t even have a quarter inch long if you guys are hearing this Titleist maybe even have them 2 inches long and graphite and if they want to choke down you guys now have less inventory in fitting, but still offer a wide variety in longer shafts
Interesting how you Never tried DG TOUR X7 or PX 7.0 ? Any reason why ? Seemed to me like your Spin was still a bit high ? Just wondering 🤔 Good video 🤙
I kinda just let Max do his thing. I can definitely ask him as we're doing a long iron fitting video next week. My guess is they're heavier options and I didn't get along with the PX 6.5. Thanks for watching Bill. 🍻
Didn’t like the approach to the 4i. Went to hybrid idea because he didn’t have the right club available. The t200 utility with a 100g x graphite or even a steel shaft would likely work quite well. But because they didn’t have that option - copped out to a hybrid suggestion. Should at least try some more 3i and 4i options to fit in before defaulting to hybrids.
He gave you 4 irons with s300 white labels a completely different shaft than all the others which he did mention. Different stiffness different weight different profile etc etc and expected you to have a certain ball speed and launch that fell in line with the other irons which had a modus 120x in them. etc… unbelievable. He may as well have just handed you a srixon 4 iron with a ladies flex in it. It’s about that similar to the 7 irons you hit.
@@NewNineGolfyea those shafts are so far apart I wouldn’t go off any of those results in the long irons. Get the 4 iron with a 120x in it and then see what you get. Ball speed should come up spin come down etc
Ah the fitting psychological effect, idk why it bothers me but just tell me the difference in what we are looking for, or is club fitting a science not meant to b understood by all. Lmk plz
245 carry 265 total, on the 2 hybrid from the Mahaffey Stadler days, old school is underrated, THis is, if not my favorite club in the bag, it is my favorite club in the bag. Best, favorite, oh go ahead, barf out a big eyezaheartz emjoj with rosy cheeks why dont you. Titleist 915H hybrid, 17 degree, NICE...Very Nice... Nippon 120 x plus 1/4. Nice Very Nice.... DO it now, see if lie angle affects rate of closure and carry distance. Do it now. Yes GOOODDDD! You rock Fish Sandwich Guy, You Rock!!!!
Again, Titleist not having the proper fitting equipment which I’m seeing here is a length problem so my suggestion is this have your links and half inch increments and have them 2 inches long up to 2 inches long at least in the graphite why we get older we get stiffer we need longer shafts
Is there anywhere to go to get truly fitted with length of shaft proper shaft proper head this is a Titleist fitting session. They don’t have the right shit to do the fitting.
Besides the stiff 4 iron there was nothing random with the head/shaft combinations he gave me. All shafts were x options with different profiles until we found one that worked.
not the best fitting. he pulled you from a shaft that had the longest yardage and low spin and steep descent angle and put you in something new just because the distance dispersion was 2 yards less. The most important thing with shaft fitting is feel and you work from that. this guy was all numbers and not to mention way too quiet for a fitting that should feel more engaging and friendly.
There’s only so much we can show from an hr+ fitting. I have to disagree with just about everything you said. From a feel standpoint I ended up in the shaft that felt the best, with ideal data. Max is beyond friendly and I have nothing but respect for his fitting process. I’ve now done 4 fittings with him And have nothing but great things to say. Apologies that didn’t show well enough to you from this video.
Sure you can have anything you want as long as in the standard length just anything anything you want just just anything just as long as the standard lol
bro you have the miuras blade irons forged by god's hands. you can't possibly expect to find a replacement, especially with tittiless. no bueno senor, ey? because even their staff said, there's very "little" improvement from models they made 7 years ago.
Here’s my problem with this fitting you took way too long to determine you needed a longer shaft to move the strike point to the middle. My question to you why the F did it take so long it was already worn out by the time you told them.
Sorry. Ya you're right. I can't even remember why I put that in the title. I think the intent was for me to hit all of them but Max stopped at the t200.
I really like this fitter. He talks nice and slow and gives feedback in layman's terms.

Lol very funny I also got fitted with the Nippon Modus 120gram x flex recently with the Titleist T150 and T100 irons.😅
Just got fit for the very first time this year. Went with Taylormade p770. Will never go back to off the rack clubs

same exact thing here. I switched from zx7 to T150 and I couldn’t be happier! Much more forgiving, and they feel great!
most impressive divot pattern for sure
Thank you 🙏🏻
Surely nothing feels as good as the Miuras though?

why too difficult of a club to hit for 23. Hell, for even single digit
T100 irons are the reason you're not better than a 23.

i play the T100-s i got fitted about 4 months ago they're sick.. i went to buy a t200 4i and the price raised 24 bucks.. kinda sad on Titleist's part

Looking to get a full bag fitting done, where does Max mainly do his fittings out of?
Should he get a t100 pw or a vokey pw?
Went with the T100 PW. I used a bikes for years but wanted to see how the season went with a T100 pw and I quote liked it!

At higher altitudes you typically want a touched higher spin as the air is less dense and the lift force is less.
This guy knows his stuff. ☝️
This Max guy is cool. Is he the Trottie of Titleist?
