Impressive fitting from Titleist. Loved that fitter went with what was best based on numbers/feel and visuals... Well done gents and awesome job by Titleist fitter! Thank you for sharing.
Good stuff. I ended up T150 6-GW, and T200 4&5 with 505 2 iron. When I hit the T350 during my fitting for the first time my reaction was holy sh**, the ball launched high in the air.
I have watched several other reviews of the four new T irons. One thing that you did not emphasize perhaps enough here is that despite moving to stronger lofts, they are finding that all four models still give excellent height and descent angles, so getting the extra distance has not meant, as it so often does, sacrificing descent angle and stopping power. Skilled hitters are also getting good dispersion with all models, as opposed to what you sometimes see that extra length comes with less control over horizontal and vertical dispersion. So Titleist definitely seems to be on to something good here. And another thing one tester noted is that Titleist has replaced the plastic feeling and sounding cap on the back of the T200 that looked like it would fall off at any moment and made it look cheap with a much nicer and more solid one. Well done Titleist.
Got them fitted yesterday at a vip day at Stirling GC. Got the T150 with kbs tour xs 130g shafts 4-pw and a T200 2iron with a hzrdus 90g xs shaft. The main reason for the T150 instead of the T100 was to bring the ball flight down into a better, more manageable window. But the T200 stood out the most as it is an absolute rocket.
Hi George quick question if you have a minute, I'm 58 years old ,I don't go by someone's HC to determine how good a ball striker they are,, that said ,I can definitely find the middle, I used to game the Callaway TCBs but not I don't have enough ball speed for standard lofts so I picked up the Mizuno pro 225s upgrades with steel fiber shafts , the 225 are a players distance iron 7 irons 30 degrees, anyway the T200 are in same category with pretty much same lofts, what iron in your knowledge would you go with the pro 225 or the new T200,?? I always wanted to game a set of Tietilist, I game the TSR 3 driver, sorry lot of information, if you have a second get back to me please!
I got the exact same in my fitting today. Same shafts too. Only difference is the t200 I got was a 3i with HZRDS xs to fill the gap between the t150 4i and my PING 2i
Was fitted last week for almost the same set, 5 PW T150 with modus 120s, U505 4i with IZ 95s. I was amazed that the peak height was around 102ft with all model of irons
Saw the new T200s today at local sporting goods store and wow what a great looking iron and the grip was fantastic. Currently in the Callaway Apex Pro 21s. Im seriously thinking of looking at the Titleist T200s
Was surprised to not see the 350 for the 3/4 iron. I just got fitted by Titleist down here in Florida and ended up in PW-6 in T150, 5-4 in T350. I swing a couple mph slower than Ian but had to ditch the Nippon 120’s from my previous set and go to DG Tour issue S300 to get launch/spin where I needed them… Nippon was launching/spinning too a bit too high. Coming from Callaway TCB’s, these new T series irons are just at a whole other level of precision and power. ❤
That's wild that you jumped from the 150 to the 350. Also got fitted here in FL 2 weeks ago (they arrive any day 😛) and came away with the T200 in PW-6 and the 4-5 in 350. Went in thinking I would be in the KBS $, but we wound up in the Project X IO...weird finish on them, but that's how it worked out. Enjoy!!!
I got fitted last week for T100 irons with project x 6.0 rifle shaft . Went in thinking t150 with t200 combo set. Currently playing off 7. Surprised how good the t100 felt. And the turf interaction felt so good 👍
I would love to see a side by side comparison of the 350s and 100s and have you show us why the 350s are not "workable" by pros (the supposed reason they don't use them) and what advantage that workability of the 100s imparts. It seems to me that if it is a pro swinging, then the same path and face angle would produce the same spin and similar ball flight (I know CG will impact it some).
Really cool video. I was recently fitted into the t150’s as well, with amt s300 black shafts. Gotta start saving up to swing the $1400 price tag though
usually a fitter has you hit your 6 iron to be fitted , not much more out of the iron set , unless you get a wedge fitting,, thats my experience with fitters, Good luck man,,
I have 150 in p-6. 200 in 5&4. I found the 200’s to be a bit light. I did px 5.5 (115 g) in the 150s and px 6 (120g) in 200s. They blend perfectly. With the same shaft there was a noticeable demarcation from one to the other. The 200s felt like graphite almost.
Ian you sure hit a tone of shot....well done. Now, given that "turf integration" was brought up so much during the fit...how will fitter address such matter given indoor fitting on mats. I would argue that much of such conversation is diluted when hitting mats thus the ball data would be off....thoughts?
Hit an older version of the T200 yesterday felt like a 🏓, nice sweet spot, hit another another club further and sales rep preferred me to choose the other club, if I was gonna buy.
Hard to argue with Titleist marketing. They’re the best with brand management and it helps when your irons are as beautiful as these. I’m going to hang onto my current set for a few more years and stop upgrading so frequently.
The best thing about them is you can game their irons for a long time and feel confident. I just got fit for the t150s after using the original ap2s for the past 15 years lol.
Great video as always. Why does everyone make a big deal about Titleists 2 year product cycle? Isn’t that what most people do barring Taylormade and Callaway? I know PING does, and doesn’t Mizuno? People act like it’s the greatest thing on earth if they wait two years.
Not looking to replace my i210s but if I was the T150s would be high on my list, although would love to try the T200s for a 5i and maybe a 6i - only problem is that would not be possible with my local fitters as they only have one test club for each set. I think Titleist will need to send out 5i, 7i & 9i in each set to fitters if they are serious about pushing blended sets
I know I’ve mentioned something similar in another video but I think it’s very well worth mentioning in this fitting. When your using a titleist fitting head and fitting shaft it is essentially a soft stepped version of whatever your testing unless you’ve tipped the shaft about 1/2 inch which they don’t do. So keep that in mind. A standard 7 iron x100 (or any other shaft) in a standard fitting head will play as a softstepped x100. That’s the results you will get that’s the flight and that’s the stiffness and feel.
@@shaneconfrey437 because the insertion length of the fitting hosel is much less than a standard iron head. 1/2 inch plus etc. The extra .5 inch that’s inserted into an actual hosel can’t “bend” or flex bc it’s glued into a hosel. Just think of it in extremes if the hosel on the head was 25 inches long and the shaft was inserted all the way down to the grip leaving you with nearly zero shaft exposed the shaft wouldn’t bend/flex at all the bc the metal hosel doesn’t flex.
Ah I see, I always presumed this would have been compensated for somehow in the fitting kit shafts but obviously not, thanks for the reply much appreciated 👍
Can you get that U505 bent a bit upright? Those hollow-bodied Titleists are notoriously tough to bump lofts and lies. I have a U500 2 iron now and I wish I could knock it 2 degrees up in lie angle.
Agreed. Want better turf interaction? Learn how to hit the ball correctly. Has nothing to do with the club. All these people are in bed together so they'll drive the 'new club make you better narrative' until the well runs completely bone dry. Practice=better. It will never be the club in your hand.
The grass has been growing for 20 years, we need improvements. Lol, yeah, apparently golf clubs couldn't get through ground in the past, and funny enough, the ball is already hit at that point !
Got fit last year for 100S. Interested to go hit the 150 to see if it can help my toe miss a touch better and maybe be a touch softer. Love that they look closer to the 620s.
I believe that's what there saying about the 150s a little more forgiveness across the face! but as you know gotta go try then out yourself,, no doubt everyone has a different feel ! Good luck
For me at 62, mid-handicapper, with a driver swing speed of about 90-92 mph the T350 in the long and mid irons and maybe the T200 in the short irons could be a good fit. Anxious to try these out and see how they do for me. Very good looking irons. But can they knock out my PXG O312p and xp Gen3 irons from my bag? Only time can tell. 😊
Looks like your getting dialled in with those irons, must be a very satisfying feeling. Thanks for the great video. very enjoyable. Now go kill it Ian & take some money from Mikey. ( just kidding Mike)

My handicap has dropped three strokes this summer (and I shot a 76, which is three strokes better than my previous PR and pretty good for a 14 handicap!) and the only difference is the new clubs in my bag. I'm older, and don't practice because of some cervical disc issues, so the only variable is my clubs, which are better suited for me. So, while a miracle won't happen when fit, I think it CAN make a difference.
Mikey striping it in the back drop ….. great looking clubs as you come to expect from Titleist.
TXG getting fit so cool! Mikey discussing his sick ball speed in the background is awesome! 😅
Titliest has their fitting processes down. Excellent video, Ian. definitely curious about the T150’s.
Love the in the weeds fitting footage with Ian and JJ. Good stuff
Ian holds his tongue very well.
Cheeky mate
What did I miss? 👀😅
Can't wait to get myself a set of these! Very informative as usual TXG
Great TXG review.

Was waiting for Ian to tell him shafts don’t spin when he said what’s nice with the modus….
Titleist and JJ are the best. No big sales pitch, just undeniable performance.
No sales pitch except for you posting this same comment on every new T series fitting.
dawg the whole video is the sales pitch lol
Marty Jerty #1
Because it's true about the Titleist reps. They set Ian up well enough to put the irons in the bag and that's a pitch enough@@ThalanX
Yep, no overboard BS with an overboard character!
I learnt heaps here. Well done Titliest.
Hell of a fitting Ian 👏👏👏
possibly best fitting vid on the UA-cam
Pretty hard to switch from my TC 201’s. That turf interaction has always been great! 😊
And they look great, even better!!

200/350 combo for this 5-handicap. Can’t wait.
I’m a 7-handicap. Was thinking the same. Which clubs were you thinking of going with the 350s?
Was fitted last week for almost the same set, 5 PW T150 with modus 120s, U505 4i with IZ 95s.

Went in thinking t150 with t200 combo set.
Currently playing off 7. Surprised how good the t100 felt. And the turf interaction felt so good 👍
Hello Jamie, whats your review after almost a year? I play 770s and maybe looking to switch to t100
Callaway and Titleist both focusing on turf interaction this year
Trying to catch up to srixon

1 point for the irons team. Took a hybrid out of someone’s bag 😛
So the PXG irons dropped as rapidly as the TXG logo...? 😂
I got the 505 with the la golf shaft in the 2 and 3 irons. My 3 wood and 3 hybrid are long gone
Key takeaway from this video: I should build a raport with PGA tour clubfitters over multiple fittings so they can learn my tendencies.
Thought GC quad was the gold standard for fitting? And you go get fit with trackman????
Great video as always. Why does everyone make a big deal about Titleists 2 year product cycle? Isn’t that what most people do barring Taylormade and Callaway? I know PING does, and doesn’t Mizuno?

The 200 and 150 are different families. Go with a AMT shaft and that’ll help the long irons to launch and the short irons to not balloon.
Im such a titleist fan boy. They dominate my bad for the most part. Never been big on their irons for some reason though
Giving up on the PXG CB’s already???
Is this TXG channel or club champion channel
I know I’ve mentioned something similar in another video but I think it’s very well worth mentioning in this fitting.

Is measuring for shaft length and lie angle still done? Did I miss it? I'm curious because I hear that might be outdated.
Wow you launch the ball high. Much shaft lean at impact or are you a bit of a picker?
Can you get that U505 bent a bit upright? Those hollow-bodied Titleists are notoriously tough to bump lofts and lies. I have a U500 2 iron now and I wish I could knock it 2 degrees up in lie angle.

Where does one go to get a fitting where the club is cleaned after every swing 🤔
Is there a pre-worn leading edge this time???
So what’s the yardage gap from PW to your 50? A bit curious why straight to 150 and not much time spent on the T100?
