"Everybody makes good stuff, we are just trying to let you play your best golf" spoken like a person who is actually trying to help you do your best. Even if employed by a specific company. Love the videos. (I know im late to the party)
just went to golf store yesterday because my hybrid (215-220) hasnt been the best. decided to get fit by titleist today..and actually they fitted me for a 7 wood and my goodness. these titleist guys are genius. as we were finishing, for giggles i grabbed their demo t150 5 iron and he laughs "probably need a t150 fitting my man. you launched that at the height of a your stock 7iron (p790)" ...so here i go spending more $
Brandon, Thanks for sharing your fitting experience. I do appreciate your openness to let the fitter "fit" your game/clubs vs having a preconceived notion of what you think you should be hitting as a player. I'm a huge Titleist fan. I also believe many manufacturers are delivering great products today and as golfers we need to be open to solutions for our game specifically. I was recently fitted for T200s with a T350 4 iron to finish the set. Having come from 710 AP2s I was thinking I would fit either the T150 or T200 but never thought about the T350 at all. After playing a few rounds since my fitting I'm loving the confidence in my new irons and deciding on when to get fitted for the woods. Again, thanks for sharing and good luck with the new clubs!
I’m loving the new irons and realizing the new T350 4 iron is a weapon off the tee as well as turf. I picked up a little distance so working through specific numbers to hone in the new clubs. Super excited to go for a wood fitting next year. Also, just very impressed with my Titleist fitting experience. Very happy customer.
My neighbor gave me some really old Adams hybrids, 3 4 and 5. It'll take some really good clubs to replace them in my bag. I was surprised you were able to outdo your billy baroo 2 right off the bat.
It’s so amazing what a good fitting can do when you’re open minded and let your ego away! I never thought a player like you could have 3 hybrids. Can’t wait to see 9 holes videos to see those beasts in action!
I got fitted for the TSR3 hybrid. I found the TSR2 looked really closed at address and I kept hooking the odd one with it. The TSR3 flew a lot lower with lower spin too
I have been playing only around 3 years. I agree I’m not a fan of the long irons. I carry a 3,4,5 hybrid. My 3 hybrid for me is around 200 yds . Nice to see a golfer in your caliber thinking that way. I will be 70 in June. Still working on weight transfer. Great video.
Mind blowing watching this and seeing your thoughts on the 2 hybrid. I get roasted by my buddies bout this all time. I’ve only been playing golf for 3 months now and my ping 2 hybrid (17 degrees) is my favorite off the tee. I don’t bag a 3 wood either.
I went a similar way to you, as I'm also from calgary and found no real need for a 3 wood also. I have a stealth plus 5 wood (lofted down to 17.5 instead of the stock 18.5), and found this thing is massive, usually going about 275-290. I used a Srixon zx mkii 3 hybrid to gap between that and my 4 iron (t100 OG). I love having a bit of help going into a par 5 second shot, or into a long par 3 in a match or tournament where nerves are definitely there, just feels a lot safer than relying on the tiny 4 iron in my set (though it's incredibly forgiving and high launching despite its tiny look at address). Love the content!
@NewNineGolf Max is a great fitter also, he's been to our club in Rocky Mtn. House a few times for the Demo Days. Also helps I'm a sucker for Titleist stuff haha
We are the same. I hit my ping g 430 3 hybrid farther than most of my golf friends hit their drivers. I’m about 270 off the tee with it and it’s always in the fairway. I can’t seem to hit other woods and drivers.
Love these vids. I've just had an iron fitting with a Titleist guy in the UK. Also put me in T100's, I swing pretty similar to you, but looked at different options for the long irons, as like you, I also struggle with the 3 & 4. The U505 4-iron felt like an absolute cheat stick for me. Lovely club, night and day compared to a standard 4. Need to go back and fill in the other gaps once my bank account has recovered.
It's crazy with hybrids. They are for me impossible to hit, they are so closed at setup and I hit everything left. It's nice to see somebody hit them that great.
I am a bit opposite. I enjoy fairway woods. I roll 4,7,9 wood into my 5iron T100S. Didn’t want to put the a 9wood but it is soo good for my 225-230 high carry Can’t get along with the hybrids want to like them just can’t.
Don’t laugh at me but often I play 9 hole game with TSR2 hybrid and T400 pitching wedge and a scotty putter that’s it I find connecting my TSR 2 3 wood connecting on fairway tough not every time I connect well so I always use 2 hybrid.
Usually standard in the industry is to get fitted along side the balls you fill your bag with. That’s why most instructors fit on indoor sims. I’m not using top flights and range balls during a round.
When top end balls aren’t available for a fitting there’s a setting on the launch monitor called “normalize” to help make up for the range balls. It takes the range balls into account and adjusts the numbers based on a high end ball. Although, It’s not 100% same but it’s close.
Great video, Brandon - I also had the 915h 18* and moved into the TSR2 18*. I’ve felt it has been a little more consistent and toe and heel strikes have spun just a little bit less. Off the tee it’s a little more penetrating (a little less spinny I think). So good.
I was thinking the same thing when I was looking at the stats afterwards. Lol. I think I just wasn't able to get the distance out of it tho. I'll prob revisit that depending on how my hybrid behaves. Haha
I’d be curious if instead of starting your fitting with the old hybrid you start with the new club and end with your old truste. 100% your numbers won’t be the same.
It's the opposite, I know, it's confusing and seems counter intuitive. Here's a good article explaining effective loft. www.golfunfiltered.com/blog/adjustable-drivers-effective-loft-2013-12-29
They didn’t have it for the hybrid unfortunately. Only the driving iron. The upgraded TourAD has the same kick characteristics as my current hybrid so it should be an easy transition. Even with all the option the fitting tent has, they don’t carry EVERYTHING. Only place for a fit like that would be the Titleist Performance Institute.

Thank you! And yes, Max is a great fitter and an even better person.
Titleist Max needs his own channel! He comes across as a superb fitter.
He's really good. Very thorough, knows his stuff and is a great guy.
Tsr 2 are just the best club i have ever played with. Love my Tsr 2 driver and my Tsr 2 wood 4. So straight, and great sound and feel.
Alright, Brandon. Watched too many videos now without subscribing. It was unintentional, but I'm here now.
Haha appreciate you 🙏🏻

wow, this is best structured fitting video I have seen. Ball flights, data, settings, whole picture. New subscriber here!
The 915H is amazing. I have the 2h with a 39" Project X LZ 120 6.0 shaft and set the hosel to C1. Best fairway finder ive ever created.
You're not alone in the hybrid. I have a 18.5 hybrid and then driver, I sling the hybrid like 280. 3 wood I have no confidence over. Great vid.
Dude same! That’s awesome

@cams3425 Awesome to hear!
Absolutely brilliant video 👍
Thank You 🙏🏻
I love the honesty of the fitter!
Max is awesome.
Team hybrid checking in
We here 🔥

Adams hybrids are unreal! I was surprised by the new tech also
Dude I love your videos. No BS. Would love to see more on course stuff!
Thanks man! Will have some more Course content forsure.
I went from my T150 five-iron straight to a 21 (set to 22) and an 18 (set to 17) TSR2 hybrid. Great, easy, forgiving clubs.
It’s so amazing what a good fitting can do when you’re open minded and let your ego away! I never thought a player like you could have 3 hybrids. Can’t wait to see 9 holes videos to see those beasts in action!
Me too! Jacked to leave the 3/4 behind.
It's wonderful out driving dudes with an 18/17° hybrid at like 255/275, too, but I would never get rid of my 3/5 wood 😮
I got fitted for the TSR3 hybrid. I found the TSR2 looked really closed at address and I kept hooking the odd one with it. The TSR3 flew a lot lower with lower spin too
That’s awesome the TSR3 worked for you!

Just got a TSr 2 4 Hybrid 21° set at 22°. Its a beast !

Play your game! That’s what makes this game great! Many ways to get the ball in the hole
2 Hybrid Gang 👊🏻🤑

New club fitter here loving these. Learning a ton. Keep ‘em coming!
Just joined the channel! Few videos in with you two bros and learned a lot. Par down boys!
Glad you hear. Appreciate it. 🍻
That practice facility looks so good. 🤩
It really is the best!
@NewNineGolf Max is a great fitter also, he's been to our club in Rocky Mtn. House a few times for the Demo Days. Also helps I'm a sucker for Titleist stuff haha
@strut55 That’s awesome. What did he fit you for?
@@NewNineGolf it was last season, I tried some options for a utility/driving iron.
That is a gorgeous golf range and course! It's golf heaven ⛳️
Love it there!

Depending on the Hybrid you can adjust the hosel setting to make it more open. That might help.
I am a bit opposite. I enjoy fairway woods. I roll 4,7,9 wood into my 5iron T100S. Didn’t want to put the a 9wood but it is soo good for my 225-230 high carry
Can’t get along with the hybrids want to like them just can’t.
Totally! To each their own. I love they have options for everyone.
Kinda surprising he didnt have you try out a 7wood. For me its that perfect 220-235 club! Love the TSR2 7 wood in a Ventus Red TR.
I hit a couple off camera and told Max I prefer the looks of the hybrid so we stuck with those.
I placed my 3wood shaft into my 5 wood and saw other worldy results. Can put an 80% swing on it and will go easy 250.
Gotta love that! Great change.
You made a big mistake by not trying the TSR1 hybrid. It's the best of the bunch. James Robinson loved it.😸
Don’t laugh at me but often I play 9 hole game with TSR2 hybrid and T400 pitching wedge and a scotty putter that’s it
I find connecting my TSR 2 3 wood connecting on fairway tough not every time I connect well so I always use 2 hybrid.
Very nice! Thanks enjoyed
Thank you!
Your dispersion with the two irons, especially the U505, was extremely tight. For anyone who plays on tight courses, this could be the club of choice.
My best club is also my titliest 2 hybird. Love the new set up. Shoe the Scotty head covers next video lol😅
Haha will do!
Usually standard in the industry is to get fitted along side the balls you fill your bag with. That’s why most instructors fit on indoor sims. I’m not using top flights and range balls during a round.

Hope I can get good enough to get a fitting one day
I say you can still go for a fitting. Properly fitted clubs will help and you can always adjust them as you get better. ⛳🏌️♂️
Great video, Brandon - I also had the 915h 18* and moved into the TSR2 18*. I’ve felt it has been a little more consistent and toe and heel strikes have spun just a little bit less. Off the tee it’s a little more penetrating (a little less spinny I think). So good.

Let’s go!
Call me crazy but the dispersion on that U505 was simply insane.
I was thinking the same thing when I was looking at the stats afterwards. Lol. I think I just wasn't able to get the distance out of it tho. I'll prob revisit that depending on how my hybrid behaves. Haha
Coming to this video a year late looking for a TSR2 review as I’m looking to potentially replace my favourite club…my 915h is completely awesome
Gonna try teeing off with my hybrid tomorrow. I dunno why I've never tried that before. I love big drives. But fairways hit gets better scores.
It feels good to hit fairways. My go to is my UW(21) from callaway. Low spin off tee, decent decent angle on par 5
Wow, if I’m reading Trackman correctly, you have quite an out to in swing. Very controlled fade, usually, it seems. I have a similar path.
It’s not perfect by any means but it works most of the time lol
Brandon, tell us how you went on the course with your new kit!
Loving it. I'm actually hitting this 5 hybrid (4 iron replacement) too far. Haha. Need to make some adjustments.
Basis the u505 group, I would have picked that EEEEEVERY DAY over the hybrid
I’d be curious if instead of starting your fitting with the old hybrid you start with the new club and end with your old truste. 100% your numbers won’t be the same.
Did you try the t350 4 iron? Seems like he skipped a club going to the u505 utility. I have the t200s 5-pw with a t350 4 iron
I think I hit a couple like garbage so we skipped it
I really wish Max could fit me.
He can, if you're in AB, Canada. You can book on the website with him.
The fitter had his work cut out for him. Awesome fitting.
This hurts my feels more than it should 😂
@@NewNineGolf you just know what you like
why go hybrid over u505?Don't u get more control with shots with utility iron over hybrid?
Looking at them, I’m just more comfortable with the hybrid.
@@NewNineGolf Distance wise which was better?
@jeffyeah4256 Hybrid
5 wood cut down would do wonders. Personal opinion. Modern 3 woods for me aren’t very useful except for off the tee. Personal opinion
Loft down closes the face usually, and lofting up opens it doesn't it?
It's the opposite, I know, it's confusing and seems counter intuitive. Here's a good article explaining effective loft.
www.golfunfiltered.com/blog/adjustable-drivers-effective-loft-2013-12-29
How do we connect with Max?
You can actually go on the Titleist website. Schedule a fitting and see Max's Schedule on there. I believe he's only in Calgary though.
Sure didn’t see that coming! Hope it leads to some low scores
Yes he hits his 2 hybrid farther than my driver... 🤬
Brandon, great videos, however suggest you shake off your biases and grow
Elaborate on the bias
Your downswing seems a little steep so 3 wood would be challenging to hit whereas you can hit a hybrid like an iron
Where are all these titleist fittings?
You can find the one nearest you on the titleist website.
My 3 woods gos 250 and my driver goes 260 lol wtf
wouldn't be better if u free the arms stuck in your body ;( please
lol so you got fitted into a shaft that hasn’t even been on the hybrid ? Weird bro.
