Demo was fire, getting this game for sure. Most likely on ps5 even though I have a switch. I think it’ll look better on ps5
Before you hate on something you have not touched I suggest yall play the free demo on PS5 if you have one. Graphics look great, runs at 60fps. Gameplay itself is amazing, they really know what they doing with traversal and combat.

I tried the demo and it's actually really fun. Considering i don't like most Ubisoft games for a decade (except Watch Dogs 2, Rayman Legends / Origins, Valiant Hears, Child of Light, and AC Syndicate), i might buy this game.

Prince of Persia started as a 2D game. There is nothing wrong with this game being 2D. Especially if it's a metroïdvania.

Side scrolling are definitely not a thing of the past. The genre is still very popular nowadays. Just look at games like *Cuphead, Shovel Knight, Axiom Verge, TMNT Shredder Revenge, Hollow Knight, Ori, River City Girls, Super Mario Wonder, Metroid Dredd, River City Girls, The Messenger, Shantae, or Bloodstained* which all of them are side scroller and well received.
Why would it be a thing of the past? That's pure nonsense. That's like saying "surely with Superhero movies dramas are a thing of the past?"

Actually, no they were not. Persians are Asian.
Sargon the protagonist isn't the Prince. He's part of *The Immortals* (irl it's historically existed, you can wiki / google it), which is a heavy / elite infantry who has soldiers from Persians but also from *Medes* and *Elamites* . Back then, there were plenty of Black slaves who got shipped to Persia. Since i'm only played the demo, i'm assuming Sargon is a slave before someone picked him up and train him for The Immortals.
