@SLYDIT Agree 150%! Wet and Forget is the best. I live in SW Florida and I use it every 6 months on my paver driveway and seawall. I very rarely have to power wash. Costco has 2 pack for $20 when on sale. Keeps everything clean with little or no work!
Do you powerwash and then apply Wet and Forget or do you apply Wet and Forget on the mold? I live SW florida and have some mold on gutters and soffets.
This summer I used ZEP Driveway & Concrete Pressure Washer Concentrate from Home Depot and the stuff worked great. Those black blotches left behind on your sidewalk would easily get eliminated by using this stuff. I would spray the ZEP concentrate using a pump sprayer and those black blotches would start turning green after a few minutes. Follow up with pressure washer ( I got the same one you have) and it came off like butter. I will try using a surfactant next time, probably will make it even more effective. First time seeing that Sun Joe surface cleaner and I will pick one up for sure. Noticed they had a lot of other accessories for the SPX3000, so may get a few other items. Love your videos, always something to learn.
I received my Sun Joe attachment today and there were no instructions on how to attach it. I finally found your video and even though you didn't demonstrate how to attach it I could see how it goes on. Thanks!
Thanks for the plug, Allyn! Looks like the unit just isn’t powerful enough to cut the crud on its own. Good job using some chems to assist. In the end, it looks great and no super expensive equipment was required... SUCCESS!
Last year I went from a Toro 22" Recycler, 0017 to the Honda HRX217VFA, 21", 186 CC. . I like the latter much better, the double cut blade leaves nothing behind, either on mulch or bag. The Toro, no matter what I did, left a narrow trail of cut grass behind, even if I overlapped. I was also concerned about the drive paddle after having the Personal Pace for so long, but I really like the Honda drive control. It also always starts on the first pull, which the Toro never did, even when it was new.
You know, I've been thinking about doing pressure washing again actually. I think I'm looking for something a bit stronger but every machine has it's use. That looks like a nice safe machine for painted surfaces like pool decks.
I was pleased to see you mention DANS VLOG because he has some great information about home maintenance in general. I was not aware those budget pressure washers had the juice to do a decent job, I will have to check into one to clean my equipment (mowers, cars, house, etc).
I just subscribed to your channel, and I don’t know why I wasn’t subscribed already, you inspired me to dominate my neighborhood lawns a few years ago, and I crushed them with your advice, I striped my yard back then and it was lush and full, my neighbors used to constantly compliment and be jealous of my yard, but I I lost the drive, but after watching this video I am once again have the drive and I am back thanks to your energy and enthusiasm, I will post videos soon, of my new. And improved yard!!!! Thank you!!!
Thanks for the video! My wife just bought me this setup along with the 10-in brush for my birthday and I'm excited to try it out. Also, something I stumbled upon on accident. I had a few oil stains on my garage floor. I accidentally spilled some white vinegar on it (for the life of me I can't remember why), but I didn't bother cleaning it up - figuring it would dry up quickly in Las Vegas. When I walked out the next day, the place on the oil stain where I had spilled the vinegar was completely concrete gray again. A cleaning grade vinegar may do a better job on tougher spots, but if you spray that on concrete and walk away, you may be amazed. It might be a better alternative to harsher cleaning products. Might be worth a try - just let me know what you think.
The pavers look amazing, keep them. As for refilling the gaps, save your money and just use mason sand. $3 a bag vs $10-20 of the "locking sand". If you wanna feel good use locking sand every couple bags of the other stuff. Awesome video BTW!
If your washer has the wand with interchangeable tips, look for a turbo nozzle. For those really set in stains that thing is amazing. It's 0 degrees jet of water but has a slight wobble to let you get a little wider coverage. Just be careful as it's really powerful, I accidentally stripped some paint when I got a little carried away power washing one time.
Eagle Natural Seal from Home Depot kicks ass for sealing after pressure washing - easily applied with a hand sprayer. Going on two years on my sidewalk and it still looks like new and water still beads up on it, while the rest got black again. Wish I'd sealed it all the first time - oh well, will get the rest done this fall.
i own a pressure washing business. spend the extra little bit of money and get a gas pressure washer with around 2.5- 3gpm and 3000 psi and it will make your life alot easier
I've only been a home owner for 5 years but the things you can clean with it are endless. Worth every penny. Almost as needed as your hammer and drill. Outside walls, furniture, driveways, car, you name it. And it's sort of relaxing as you mention.
I use a JetMac Gas powered 3000psi unit excellent and leaves paths and drives looking beautiful . I always say using a pre cleaner makes the surface cleaner. The black spots are always a issue and you can purchase a Black Spot pre-cleaner but it's expensive
You need a turbo lance/roata nuzzle. It will give a small machine a big boost. Sunjoe is sealey in e.u. in case anyone was wondering where they knew the machine from.
Digital Marketing? Automotive Vertical? Awesome! That's what I do as well. I used to work for a small biz AutoRevo and moved elsewhere keeping a focus on full service seo/ppc/social. Great videos, they motivate me to dominate. Cheers!
Thanks ! LCN was hesitating buying surface cleaner for my sunjo. But after watching your video gonna buy now looks like it will do the job On my drive way, Appreciate it !!
Up here in the pacific northwest we have to use Moss Away on everything! I would recommend trying it on your paver then pressure washing once it's dried up. Great video though.
Honestly, you've got more patience then I've got. For a few hundred bucks you can get a decent gas washer and have plenty of power to knock even the hard stuff out in decent time. That sunjoe driveway attachment would probably be really nice on a 2800-3100 psi, 2.8 or gpm washer. Your washer is most likely a 1.2 gpm system. Basically as my dad puts it, you can pi$$ more water than this thing puts out. Either way, it's probably great for washing cars and lawn furniture.
I love this so much! Crud all over you tips, bleach, sidewalk and bricks, etc. I’m going to clean our fieldstone patio for the first time so this is so so helpful!
I would highly recommend the upgraded pressure washer with the reel. I've had the cheaper version for about two years now and you'll fight and cuss at the hose every single time lol. The surface cleaner works great for the price. You have to kick it down every so often which I saw you doing also. You just have go a little slower.
Don’t worry big Al ! My wife thinks I’m nuts too. She said this weekend about maybe going to Orlando next year for our annual holiday , I straight away looked to see how far it was from you . When I said “do you fancy driving for a day to meet the LCN” she replied “WTF” and rolled her eyes. She’s just doesn’t understand bruh 😒
I really like when the videos are 20-30 mins . Great job on the sidewalks/driveway. I think with a gas pressure washer it could’ve been done faster and a deeper clean.
You might want to consider applying a coat of whatever protective stuff you can get your hands on. I believe the pressure washing is pretty hard on the surface, making more "black stuff" stick to it further down the line. At least that's been my approach when pressure washing around the house. :)
Looks good! I had a small electric one... ended up upgrading to a gas one. My bro inlaw works with concrete and other coverings, but he coated his driveway with a coating that seals it from nastiest and even helps with snow and ice removal. Instead of an expensive redo of the driveway you could do that?
Allan, get the 20L Liquid Chlorine from your local pool store and dilute it as its 15 to 30% at least in Australia and it's super cheap, don't bother with marketed small amounts. It's like buying "lawn motor" 10W40 or 10W40 from your auto shop its the same thing. Just check the chemical life if you wish to store it. PS: Keep it away from anything you like.
I have that surface cleaner, and although it is faster than using one of the nozzles, I had to make multiple passes over each area, using a crosshatch pattern and sometimes a third pass at an angle. I give it a 1.
Those small electric power washer are great. But for the tough jobs you need a good gas powered one. For the driveway. I would go with stamped concrete. They can do great things with concrete and make it look like stone or brick or whatever you want. You can get the paver look without the maintenance.
Hey I've been watching your channel for a while.. I know you are living in South Florida, I highly suggest calling softwash systems they are located there in Florida.. It's totally worth the money they clean last for a very very long time and it looks amazing👍
Help me out here. I have the Sun Joe SPX 3200 which is 2030PSI like yours and I’m using the SJ SC and I can not push the SC forward or else the back of the disc flips up giving my shin a shower. I see that you’re using the same SC from SJ and you’re not having problems moving it forward and back. Or at least that’s what it seems. I can only move the SC back towards me or side to side for it to stay on the ground and I’m not putting any pressure on the wand. Can you please tell me what you’re doing that’s so different than what I’m doing? Thanks in advance! Update: I returned the SJ Surface Cleaner and I bought a similar Surface Cleaner from Greenworks and it works a hell of a lot better than the SJ Surface Cleaner. The Greenworks was heavy enough and the plastic was thicker and it was easy to push forwards and drag backwards and I have not gotten a shower like the SJ Surface Cleaner. It’s the same size- 11” disc from GW is the way to go. It only works for Pressure Washers that is up to 2000psi so it worked extremely well with my SJ Pressure Washer 3200. I would recommend people stay away from any SJ accessories and buy from a different manufacture.
The more water and higher pressure the faster you can go. Most small electrics running 110 only put out about 1.2- 1.4 gallons a minute. It works but slow as you found out. You could sand bag the spinner to hold it down. If your seeing streaks your working to fast. My wife makes me strip before I come in. I wear long pants and long sleeves so the dirt stays in the garage.
I use copper sulfate to kill the moss in the paver cracks. It works well, but I also live in a dryer climate. If I can get it killed and removed, the patio will dry out and it will stay away for the rest of the summer. It may not be legal or a good idea in Florida, with fish, and sea animals not too far downstream. I, too, hate pavers.
The "tiger stripes" at 15:34 are caused by 2 factors in this case. 1) you are holding the wand at too much of an angle. This causes the near side to hit at a greater pressure than the far side. Try to hold it more up right close to the body. Also do not feather the ends of the stroke. Instead of a pivot movement from the handle use a full arm motion to move the whole wand in about 2 foot wide passes about 8" (max), closer the better, from the concrete. The trade off is the further away the wider each pass is but the less cleaning power you get. 2) the pressure of this unit might be too low. When I did pressure washing professionally we would use a minimum of 3000 psi to wash concrete. 4000 psi is recommended. With 3000 psi we would do a presoak of bleach solution using the black chemical tip to start then hit it with the green tip.
Could you put cement trenches on either side to channel the water down the side of driveway so it never goes on top. Also stone dust or even quickcrete between the pavers might seal and be more permanent than sand. The pavers look nice.
I have a patio made out of the same bricks your driveway is made out of. How do you keep grass and weeds from growing in between the bricks? I just moved in and have never owned brick before. Thanks. Your videos are amazing!
Any particular reason you didnt go with a gas pressure washer? Up here in Wisconsin it seems most people go with gas. Trying to decide, I also want to use it on my car.
Allen, you will most likely have swirls and Zorro marks due to the low RPM/GPM electric pressure cleaner. A decent unit would be a 4,000RPM/ 4GPM or higher belt driven machine with a real surface cleaner to match the units specs ( don’t use the lance for flat work especially with a red tip 0* )Along with making sure you allowed at least 15min. dwell time for your pre and post chemical spray which should only be sprayed if the surrounding plant life has been soaked with straight water and also the desired cleaning surface before and after the pressure cleaning. Sandals are a BIG NO in this line of work btw even with an electric pressure cleaner. A respirator, eye protection, long sleeve and pants, boots and chemical safe gloves.
haha after you said there sounds like somethings wrong with that mower, he got off and got down on the ground and started looking under the deck. legit laughed becuase you called that haha 1:05
For the drive. Go to Alliance gator you tube channel. I've used the gator dust and had good results on flagstone patio. Currently at 5 years and easy to clean and no crack weeds. They also have a sealer but I have no experience with it. Good luck!
I am going to ask a dumb question, since the sidewalk is part of the common area then shouldn't the hoa maintain it? His driveway is his responsibility only.
You are so funny! I laughed so much , especially when I saw you leave the initials on the sidewalk . Sending you greetings from South Florida, Mary (By the way, i, too, have to clean the pavers and sidewalk with a similar machine so I know the work that goes into that job!)
GPM is better than PSI. Volume is going to move the debris faster. I learned that freom a sandblaster guy, when he was trying to clean a heavy area he would turn up the abrasive.JMHOThe flat surface cleaner is a godsend! Love mine and its a cheapo!
Dude, nice rinsing of the leg smeg! Haaa!!! Appreciate your Vids. I’m in NE FL and am having a tough time with Dollarweed. I’ve hit it several times with Celsius/surfactant. I can’t get rid of it... I’m conservative on watering... any other suggestions
Thank you for telling us the ingredients I need chemicals that helps a lot, in my opinion that's all that really matters is the ingredients I hate it when they just say or show the front of the bottle real quick like that matters to me.
3200 PSI Gas powered power washer would make the concrete and pavers look like new without ANY chemicals. Put the electric one out at the curb for trash pickup and get a Simpson 3200 with the Honda engine.....
Look up a product called "wet and forget" it's made in new Zealand but sold on the states also. No pressure washing required.
that's what she said
@SLYDIT
Agree 150%! Wet and Forget is the best. I live in SW Florida and I use it every 6 months on my paver driveway and seawall. I very rarely have to power wash. Costco has 2 pack for $20 when on sale. Keeps everything clean with little or no work!
Agreed! Wet and Forget is the way to go!!!
They sell it @ Costco on the West Coast, USA -- Specifically in San Francisco here. It's awesome.

Also try zep window cleaner!
Notice from HOA: Sidewalks are too bright now.
I was thinking the EXACT SAME thing
🤣🤣🤣 right

I’ve had my Versa Mow for about 10 12 years and I gotta say it’s been a champ! Good luck with her!
The Honda HRX217 what I use. Works great, had a HRX216 for many years and upgraded to the HRX217. Big upgrade.
I pressure wash alot, but for some reason, I CANT STOP WATCHING YOU PRESSURE WASH LOL. Like it's new to me.
Only you can make a 30 minute pressure washer video enjoyable.
Adventure Outdoors ii
I was thinking the same thing, I was cracking up with some parts of it , I'm saving it so I can watch it again after a few martini's !
Thanks for the video! My wife just bought me this setup along with the 10-in brush for my birthday and I'm excited to try it out. Also, something I stumbled upon on accident. You have a very warped sense of humor. And I love it! Another stellar video LCN!

two things a homeowner needs is a pressure washer and air compressor.
I use a JetMac Gas powered 3000psi unit excellent and leaves paths and drives looking beautiful . I always say using a pre cleaner makes the surface cleaner. The black spots are always a issue and you can purchase a Black Spot pre-cleaner but it's expensive
As someone who does a lot of pressure washing this pained me so much. I couldn't help but cringe but did give me a good laugh 😂

I did not find it boring, I love watching pressure washing for some reason.
Dude, your landscape is awesome!
Thanks ! LCN was hesitating buying surface cleaner for my sunjo. But after watching your video gonna buy now looks like it will do the job
On my drive way, Appreciate it !!
i have a under pressured also takes a lot of time.
sealing the paves every 2-3 yrs helps alot
We have a Sunjoe and really like it. I was surprised how well it cleans.
I liked this one. It reminds me of my “4 hour” projects that end up taking two days
Up here in the pacific northwest we have to use Moss Away on everything! I would recommend trying it on your paver then pressure washing once it's dried up. Great video though.

She probably rolled her eyes because you asked, "Do you fancy XYZ..."
Throwing down an LCN shutout and your business conference.........BOSS! Love it!
You should get a Turbo Nossel if there is one for your model? Makes the water spin in circular motion and is more heavy duty and quicker
Just ordered the turbo nozzle for the sun joe. You might like it more than the surface attachment.
I really like when the videos are 20-30 mins . Great job on the sidewalks/driveway. I think with a gas pressure washer it could’ve been done faster and a deeper clean.

I have that surface cleaner, and although it is faster than using one of the nozzles, I had to make multiple passes over each area, using a crosshatch pattern and sometimes a third pass at an angle. I give it a 1.
They made you edit the beginning!!! Just the tip for a minute. Original was epic.
Those small electric power washer are great. But for the tough jobs you need a good gas powered one. For the driveway. I would go with stamped concrete. They can do great things with concrete and make it look like stone or brick or whatever you want. You can get the paver look without the maintenance.
saliston Agreed!
Hey I've been watching your channel for a while..
I know you are living in South Florida, I highly suggest calling softwash systems they are located there in Florida..
It's totally worth the money they clean last for a very very long time and it looks amazing👍
You’re gonna love the micro twin blade cut and lifetime warranty on the Honda deck!
Help me out here. I have the Sun Joe SPX 3200 which is 2030PSI like yours and I’m using the SJ SC and I can not push the SC forward or else the back of the disc flips up giving my shin a shower. The surface attachment looks too light ,do you think if a small weight was added to the top it might clean better ?
I enjoyed! And hey, some green coming up between the pavers can look classy old school.
The cranes are pretty neat. If you get a flock of those in your yard do they crap all over the place like geese up north?
I use copper sulfate to kill the moss in the paver cracks. It works well, but I also live in a dryer climate. If I can get it killed and removed, the patio will dry out and it will stay away for the rest of the summer. It may not be legal or a good idea in Florida, with fish, and sea animals not too far downstream. I, too, hate pavers.
Only bad part of this video, no cigar and beer after all that work.😁 Great video
He’s the man when she’s not around.
ha ha
The "tiger stripes" at 15:34 are caused by 2 factors in this case. 1) you are holding the wand at too much of an angle. This causes the near side to hit at a greater pressure than the far side. Try to hold it more up right close to the body. Also do not feather the ends of the stroke. Instead of a pivot movement from the handle use a full arm motion to move the whole wand in about 2 foot wide passes about 8" (max), closer the better, from the concrete. The trade off is the further away the wider each pass is but the less cleaning power you get. 2) the pressure of this unit might be too low. With 3000 psi we would do a presoak of bleach solution using the black chemical tip to start then hit it with the green tip.
Honda is the best bro! I had mine for 23 years and still going!
Watching this in 2021. That little “Sh**” had me rolling!
Also a cheap Ryobi pressure washer with the Honda engine, idle down and soap dispenser👌
Could you put cement trenches on either side to channel the water down the side of driveway so it never goes on top. Also stone dust or even quickcrete between the pavers might seal and be more permanent than sand. The pavers look nice.
My SA sod was only laid about 3 months ago. Is it too soon to be putting down a fall pre-emergent?
I’m concerned it will do more harm than good.
I have a patio made out of the same bricks your driveway is made out of. How do you keep grass and weeds from growing in between the bricks? I just moved in and have never owned brick before. Thanks. Your videos are amazing!
iBuriedCharlie, by now you may have seen videos where LCN uses propane torch to burn weeds
Looks gorgeous! Love that word “Smegma”. Part of my vocabulary now!!
If you looked up "smegma" in the dictionary, you'd probably change your mind.....or NOT. 😂
The funny thing is you think this looks bad my lawn doesn’t look terrible but I would be blessed to have a lawn that green and good looking
Next time you’re in NYC, come up to Westchester and take a look at my lawn please. As much beer and whatever food you like as you please in return!
I have this attachment. I wrapped a heavy chain (about 5lbs.) on top of it. Kept it from skipping around. Go slow!
Any particular reason you didnt go with a gas pressure washer? Up here in Wisconsin it seems most people go with gas. Trying to decide, I also want to use it on my car.
Going to try your recommendation. I got exactly what you shared. I have a 1 gallon sprayer. How much of the HDX should I use with water?
My surface cleaner does great pushing away from me but when I pull back it’s not flat. I think it’s not heavy enough
I enjoyed it I recently bought a Briggs & Stratton one
I think it's funny when you do your Chicago Mike Ditka accent. Funny stuff. I heard it a little and had to stop and comment:o)
I think you need go get an old 2 stroke lawn boy duraforce mower and see how she does on the st ahg!
For the drive. Go to Alliance gator you tube channel. I've used the gator dust and had good results on flagstone patio. Currently at 5 years and easy to clean and no crack weeds. They also have a sealer but I have no experience with it. Good luck!
BLINDSIDE is hard on Zoysia too! (Burns but survives) Naples, FL
I have the same setup and find the surface cleaner and handle a little short, my arms are short I guess. Did you use an extension?
I loved the LCN part
I know you like push mowers but you should check out Spartin Mowers. They are the nicest zero turns I have ever seen.
I use that Honda mower commercially and I love it.
I am going to ask a dumb question, since the sidewalk is part of the common area then shouldn't the hoa maintain it? His driveway is his responsibility only.
good vid. thx breh. i put my scott's halts down like a month ago here in austin. too early?
"Ur gunna get run over bro. Bro chill who you Callin fo" haha
lmaoooo..my best part is when she tell u leave ur shoes out when u coming .."how it coming"...classic.
Really cool, I need get one of those for myself! Great job!
You are so funny! I laughed so much , especially when I saw you leave the initials on the sidewalk . Sending you greetings from South Florida, Mary (By the way, i, too, have to clean the pavers and sidewalk with a similar machine so I know the work that goes into that job!)
I loved the LCN logo that was cool, you did a good job
Whatever happened with you project lawn this year? Haven't seen or heard anything since beginning of summer. Any updates?
LOL at the ASMR at 3:38
You got dominated by your neighbors sidewalk. Haha! EZ clean surface cleaner works great even for electric powered pressure washer.
Wife thinks I'm watching porn but im really watching the LCN!
Dallas ClubLife. Did you see LCN with the Honda? LCN is porn. Boom chica wow wow
GPM is better than PSI. Volume is going to move the debris faster. I learned that freom a sandblaster guy, when he was trying to clean a heavy area he would turn up the abrasive.JMHOThe flat surface cleaner is a godsend! Love mine and its a cheapo!
BOSSMODE! Great job
Loved the “LCN”.
3200 PSI Gas powered power washer would make the concrete and pavers look like new without ANY chemicals. Put the electric one out at the curb for trash pickup and get a Simpson 3200 with the Honda engine.....
Your a Ku dude bro!! I dig the info your kicking out thanks!!!
Have you tried "Wet and Forget" for driveways and sidewalks?
