    The examples of the equipment were solid, but BRO, WRAP IT UP! You start explaining something and just settle into this long winded diatribe as though you are explaining the concept of a wheel or lever to a caveman. I literally nodded off and dropped my phone on my chest which startled me awake. Cut the length of video by 2/3 and actually thing about what you want to say before hand instead of just turning on the camera and blathering on till your truck runs out of water for the equipment!

      Or perhaps it’s you that doesn’t understand that a quarter of a million people have watched this video in less than a year. And since my dislike to like ratio is 3.7% I’m satisfying the audience as a whole, not one random guy’s preference
      Maybe you don’t understand that I’ve been teaching this stuff to literally a couple thousand folks in the last couple years at my class.
      What I know and you don’t (since you’ve had a UA-cam channel for 2 days, no videos, and no subscribers) Is that people all over the world with varying levels of knowledge are going to watch this video. And so, instead of answering a ton of questions in the comments section for the next 5 years, I try to be very very thorough and cover every possible thing I can.
      Since my business is going to do over 5 million this year, and my UA-cam channel pays me over 1,000 a month, I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing.
      Thanks for the feedback tho 😎

    I learned this the hard way. I used a surface cleaner to do a whole driveway and then went back and washed the dirt off. Well it took longer because the dirt had settle back. Now I do it in sections and its a lot easier. This is a great tip for anyone do this out there.

    Coty, I dont think you guys fully comprehend how many lives you've affected. I'm 44, and married with three young daughters. In 2013 I nearly broke my back while deadlifting, and for the last 10 years Ive been a stay at home dad. I literally prayed for God to show me a way to provide for my girls, and a few days later I started running across softwashing and pressure washing videos. As of now, I've already purchased most of the equipment to plumb out my trailer, bought and LLC and insurance, and I'm about to sell my Challenger to stay afloat while we get moving. I never in a million years would've imagined myself being capable of running my own business with a busted back. Thank you, Coty! You guys on here showing men how to create wealth is an absolute ministry from God..... You're saving households from homelessness..... Thank you, brother! My girls are my life, bro. Thank you!

    How do you keep chemicals that run down the driveway from going into the street, hence possibly going down the drain down the street? Also what's a good way to find the low spots on a surface that looks flat? And lastly, can you just wet the grass outside of a sidewalk or driveway prior to using the pre-treatment and it'd be covered in the aspect of being safe if a little overspray got onto the grass? Great video! I'm starting out and am watching as many videos as I can and yours is pretty thorough. On hot sunny days I'll pre-wet before I pre-treat, so the pre-treat chems don't just soak in and dry-up.

    • @jfalters
      @jfalters 4 роки тому

      I've been pressure washing on/off, but without any formal training (usually just helping people out). What's the advantages of pre-treating vs. no treatment? Does it help the surface cleaner to clean faster, does it remove stains that a surface cleaner might not get on its own??

    • @bnagnew34
      @bnagnew34 4 роки тому +3

      @@jfalters The advantage of pretreating is that it kills the organic growth before removing it with the pressure washing. Without at least doing pre-treatment or post-treatment, the organic growth (the black stuff) is just being washed away and the residual that's left behind will grow back and make the pressure washing job not last as long. If I do my driveway without any SH, I have black streaking within a few months and by the next year it looks like the whole driveway has never been cleaned. With SH I typically won't get any streaking, but the whole driveway slightly darkens as it causes the organic growth to start its life cycle from the beginning, if that makes sense. I do my concrete once a year, since using SH it doesn't look bad after a year, but is still noticeably dirty when I start cleaning it. Short answer is treatment gives better, more even and longer lasting results.

    Great tutorial! Thank you for the explanation on the tips. No one talks about that. About the "violence" when clogged or worn. Pace of your walk was definitely evident. Again thank you.

    This is a great video. This video is a teaching video. I found this video very helpful and in depth look on how to do this job. A lot of people don't give this much info so you then have to look for more video on this subject. You pack it all in one video. Great job!

    Pensacola, Florida here. I pressure wash my patios, porches and driveways about once a year. Sometimes with pre-treat and sometimes not. Still learned a lot watching the video as to why my rig acts the way it does. Time to get a new spray rig due to probably worn out tips!

    Just bought a Simpson 4000psi 4gpm pressure washer yesterday off market place cheap. Ordering a 4000psi 4gpm hotsy belt drive tomorrow. Just bought that same surface cleaner. Loved watching your video. 💪

    Good video, thanks for uploading. Stopping the water running off the property onto the highway must be a nightmare on some jobs. We don’t have the same problem in the UK because the water from the road doesn’t always run to a into a drainage system.

    I never even thought of runoff. I hardly hear anyone talking about that or having a machine to take up water that’s flowing off the driveway. Good tip
