Passed the GFACT and GISF. Cheers!
Took the GFACT cert and course, it's a surprisingly good survey course. Crammed full of basics, intermediate, and some advanced topics. Was pleasantly surprised. Jumping into GSEC soon.
Good luck!
Hi, I'm currently preparing for the GFACT certification. Do you have any tips for me?
Make sure to do the labs to familiarise yourself with it and also make sure to tab the workbook and index in case you need to reference something from it quickly
Starting with Security+. Cheers!
Good luck!
Hello I'm in the process of obtaining the following for 3 certifications from SANS ... SEC275 Foundations & GFACT Certification...
The second course you will take is SEC401 Security Essentials & GSEC Certification....
The third and final course you will take is SEC504 Incident Handling & GCIH Certification ... I have zero IT experience and just wanted to know upon completion of these certifications what type of job can I get?
Hi, those are some really great certifications that will teach you a lot. They will set you up really well for SOC Analyst / Incident Response related jobs.
I'm hoping to start a government programme which includes GFACT and GSEC. Will i be employable after completing these two certifications? What types of roles?
Hi, these are very reputable courses which will definitely prove your capability in Cyber Security to employers. This will also open up a variety of roles such as a Cyber Security Analyst or Engineer.
What happens if I fail the exam? Do I need to pay and retake the course?
You will only need to pay to retake the exam, not the course
What certifications are you considering?
I failed GFACT
@@malitman ah damn! Are you going to try again?
