    Lovely to see you do this, as it lets me see what Will (Welsh Willy) did to my 77K! 🤪 Very Happy with my tuned 77K, although it still remains a beast to lug about 😎🤪 at least the cocking and firing cycle are that whole lot smoother! 👍🏻👍🏻

    Iv just recieved a new lubricant its super slick .iv taked two inches off a standard spring and its more powerfull than with the full sized internals ..the grease isnt available yet but its clear has a high teflon content is super slick unlike the old sluggish moly lubes , the lock times are far quicker , no dieseling , no internal rubbing burring no need for buttoning pistons .. this new lube is grease lightening ..

    before trying to remove the trigger block REMOVE the trigger unit, this rifle has been apart a good half dozen at least times for the block to be this easy ...on a new rifle take the trigger unit pins out first .your new rifle WONT unscrew this easy .. itl save you BREAKING your trigger blade .. and me refitting a new one , SO Tuners and tinkerers please show yourselves doing this simple procedure in future videos , you would be helping ,, people DO copy

    Some parts of the 97 piston do not make any contact with the air cylinder // the piston seal centres the piston the rest - behind the seal when the rifles cocked dont make contact with anything its got nothing but air around it ,, the guide and cocking rod .centralise it .so i found it fruitless to add plastic bits to the rear of the piston other than adding friction and vibration . Putting buttons on the inner air cylinder only help to smoothe the cocking cycle NOT the firing cycle , the main bits are plastic guide and top hat . (97) a steel piston sleeve , and good lubes ..

    So you bash the rifle with a rusty claw hammer, have a negligent discharge because it was cocked as you stripped it and at the end it chronos at 10.7?? WTF...

    Thanks for your answer. I have seen other put wood or spanner inside to undo the block end but had to take trigger off. How did you do it. How did you manage to unscrew it still with the trigger attached. As what I have seen it takes a bit of force.. Thank you in advance..

      You can only do it with a crap spring ,, then you have to take the trigger unit off. Looking at the stock id say this chaps a target shooter so he wont be fitting a monster springs

      Dont ask for a 16j spring theres no such thing .. it all depends how you lube the gun ..some of these twits on the videos arent doing it right .. get a titan xs spring .dont ask for a 16j spring these are out n out firearm springs .its up to you to cut the odd coil off !

    hi is it possible to to leave the trigger alone on any hw97, ? if so how did u unscrew the end block off without damage to trigger, it would be a lot better if the trigger can stay intact just like the tx200

    • @shootingatdawn
      @shootingatdawn  6 років тому

      +stecartmel yes just unscrew the back block and leave the trigger in place.

      Only works with a low power spring , and if the gun has been apart a few times , from new take the trigger unit out . Because the rear block will need a good crack to loosen it pal , and again after to line up the scope rails . This guy has stripped that gun a dozen times .. i can tell a wonky mile off

    Hi, i watched your video to learn more about my hw97, because i wanted to give it a little lubing on the "sear catching the trigger" area, without disassembling the hole thing. I did so, and a little problem of the sear not engaging easely was solved. But when putting the action into the stock and tightening the 4 screws, a small gap of about 2mm appeared between the back of the action and the back of the woodden stock. 1: how to close the gap? I am positive that every thing is back in it's place when assembling. 2: does it affect my rifle's performance or life time? Thanks for your informative videos.

    Its good practice to take the trigger mech out of the rifle , to show the good viewers how to do it ,, just twisting the whole block off , tricks the viewers to believe theres will unscrew and bugger up the trigger units .. bad form ! I can see youv buggered about with this rifle that much doing stuff to it it practically takes itself apart .. you have done bits at a time instead of all at once , hmmmm not inspiring ..

    • @shootingatdawn
      @shootingatdawn  8 років тому +2

      +Hennypenny8888 - I don't think you can buy them any more pal. Which is just as well to be honest as I have had to remove this kit as it is now broken. There is so little clearance between the piston ring at the back of the piston to the end of the comp tube that it has been smashing into the comp tube. This has made the pin holding the piston sleeve onto the piston head elongate the hole it is sat in. The whole unit is FU. I would not recommend buying one based on this. It shot well at the start though.
