I am Gen X. I grew up hearing and seeing this asshole harass, bully, manipulate, dehumanize, mock, and verbally abuse countless people, especially women.
There’s a lot of shit I dislike and find troublesome about the state of the world and people today, but I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge just how thankful I am that I am alive during a time when this type of misogynist behavior and cruelty towards people is no longer tolerated. Hulk has made highly sexual comments about Brooke in other interviews, and did so on an episode or two of HKB as well iirc. He's as bad, they're both awful parents.

Fun fact...When I was stationed in Clearwater Beach in the Coast Guard in 2007, that stooge Nick, showed up on our bases dock and said he needed to use the piss. When I told him were not a public bathroom and hes trespassing on govt property, he said "Well Im Hulk Hogans son, what do you think about that?" So we had the cops come get him...which they just took him home, and we had the jet ski towed. Such a little tool.

I met Brooke at the San Francisco airport the year her spin off show came out…. She was totally nice and easy to approach, (and I know that I looked dumb), her friend took the picture with my phone for me, and she was super down to earth.. I will always remember and appreciate how sweet she was to me….

When my mom and I finally got our bags, and jumped on the elevator, another girl and her mom got on the elevator with us, and I could tell by the look on her face that she saw her, too.. so I said to her “that WAS Brooke Hogan, right?!?!!” And she just nodded and smiled like she was in shock, so that’s when I jumped OFF the elevator, and made a mad dash back to baggage claim, and sure enough, she was still there…. It wasn’t until somebody else said something that I felt confident enough to even approach her…. I grew up in LA and have met a few celebrities, and I know how much some of them hate to be recognized in public.. plus, I didn’t want to be wrong and look like an even BIGGER dumbass… anyway, that was my Brooke Hogan experience…. I met Christopher Lloyd when I was 11, Dick Van Dyke when I was 5, and Leo DiCaprio at an arcade called ‘The Castle’ in The Valley, but that was when he had just been on ‘Growing Pains’, and wasn’t known for much else… My brother dated Tallulah Willis, but I never got to meet her…. They got a little Corgi together, but her Nanny wouldn’t let her keep him at her place, so Lucas kept her when they broke up…. And that was the end of my 15 minutes of other people’s fame… 😂🤣😂🤣

The thing is, her parents used to be extremely protective of her, and barely let her date for a long time…. Once the show ‘HKB’ took off, both of them seemed to have lost their minds….

Brooke opened for Aaron Carter in 03 or 04 (who I pity. Aaron's father, who we didn't know was married, was flirting with my mom who was trying to laugh it off. It was awkward), at my local baseball mini stadium. Brooke's dad made a surprise appearance and announced her. She was very sweet to all the fans. That was in 2003 or 2004 (before the reality show).

It’s like taking a peak behind the curtain at a lifestyle and career that has its roots in the old carnival Freak Shows and such. It’s not respected like mainstream Hollywood, and it’s really high camp soap operas with sweaty people throwing themselves all over the place. The stories of the performers, the toll pro wrestling takes on their mind, body, and soul- all of it is riveting stuff.
Brooke truly will hold a place in my heart forever. ❤

Thats the way it is in showbiz. Hulk treated himself the same way, he had to look a CERTAIN way to make it in pro wrestling, they were also being all scrutinized by the entire world...lots of pressure, thats what you do, you become hard on yourself to have to look THE best, he wasnt expecting anything that he didnt also from himself.

Thanks for the video. It makes me feel great about myself because I found the Hogans disgusting when this show was new. How anybody can be surprised by the way they turned out is beyond me. 9 out of 10 times, celebrity reveals who people really are. All of the people who thought that the Hogans were cool or good people should have to wear t shirts so the rest of us can know to avoid them.

I just stopped in at Hogan's Beach Shop in Orlando this past weekend. To me, Hogan is one of those people you have to seperate the real person from his character in wrestling.
To bad the real person is a horrible piece of shit.
For the many mistakes and unfortunate events that Hogan has made, his biggest accomplishment has been his ever loving, supportive, positive daughter Brooke Hogan. God bless her and I hope he stays in the right, correct path.
I watched both shows. Hogan knows Best as well as Brooke knows Best. I can honestly say that Brooke is a very lovely, respectful, and respectable woman. Sometimes I thought that she was trying to be a little miss goody two shoes. When in reality, that's who she was/is. She was very responsible. Extremely kind and polite. Also, for her to move to Tennessee and become a server makes me love her even more. I have worked in my fair share of restaurants. Some chain restaurants that everyone knows as well as some privately owned higher class establishments. You can make great money. But you come across so many ignorant, nasty people. So I applaud her for just doing what she needed to do for herself. She seems to be doing well now. As long as she is happy. I am happy for her. She never threw her family under the bus. She is this family's saving grace.

Bleh. The amount of duplicates or lookalikes in this family is highly uncomfortable. The kids awe a mess the parents are clearly a mess and it still continues. That crash was so insanely heartbreaking.
