I liked the formula symple and practical. K engin is smooth and maruti doesnot have switchgair issue like Tata. Also breeza is not like tincan like other marutis.
my initial plan was to book nexon. below each and every nexon review i saw lots of negative comments about brezza. decides to compare both of them .. result .. took delivery of brezza vxi 2 days back.
booked last week.. eagerly waiting for my white angel

I hope all the other car manufacturers eat up the market share of Maruti and put them in losses. Only then Maruti would truly care about consumers safety and needs.

Thank God that brezza is not built under heartech platform finally so comparing with other marutis this one has pretty acceptable build quality....The one which makes this car to choose is the after sales service network and resale value that's it otherwise its competitors are way ahead in terms of power,equipment and safety...

EcoSport has a 6-speed torque converter with a more powerful engine; Venue has a 7-speed DCT with a more powerful engine; have to be a moron to buy the Brezza automatic. But then, a large portion of Indian car buyers will go and buy Maruti blindly.

At leas VW has cutting edge turbo petrols and modern transmission options. Maruti is still flogging it's old engines and transmission from 20 years ago.

Venue ki pichli seat tight hai 3 logon ke liye or nexon ki shape bekar hai indica type design .isliye brezza bikegi.har car mein kuch kami rehti hai.brezza ka engine size bada hai ,isliye thodi mehngi hai kyonki govt taxes jyada hai bade engine par.looks wise brezza far better than other cars in same segment.engine start stop or all power windows jaisi features base model mein di hai.or sabse bada reason to buy brezza is refined and tested engine Jo ki ertiga or ciaz mein use ho Raha hai.so dosto go for brezza seeing all scenario.less Maintenance and cheaper spares is also one reason.NCAB safety crash test mein brezza ko 4 star mile Jo ki ok hai.it means build quality is good and robust.
With the same thought I bought brezza zxi plus manual. It is very good car. I am fully satisfied. Best thing is i got top model in manual at just 10.50 lakh.

The exterior looks in the facelift is now ok but the interiors are outdated
Diesel is much better, and the old version was having a nice grill but not now the grill seems like s-presso. Which is not to good.

How do you compare the rear seat with that of older one..? Any improvement in thigh support or is it same..
People these days are very vocal about connected cars. I have been using one with these features since 2015. The only useful feature is that I can switch on the AC 2 mins earlier. Other than that, it is mostly useless if your car is not chauffeur driven. And I safely assume that the Brezza is not going to be chauffeur driven. Things like speed alert, geo fencing etc become a waste if you are the only one driving the car. At least, it has been like that for me.
I wished to see a DCT gearbox coupled with a turbo petrol engine which would make the Brezza a hoot to drive. Also Maruti should have been more generous & equip it with much more features, an updated cabin, some more safety features & a much needed turbo petrol engine which some of its competitors are offering now. Maruti should have taken due advantage of this missed opportunity to make the Brezza that much more desirable

A hefty price for ancient 4 speed auto, dated interiors and unimpressive feature list. I am not judging but I think there is something seriously wrong with people who will still buy it.
No one's gonna buy it now and they knew it They put out the petrol engine so that the brezza name survives in the market.

i am from mizoram north east india, is maruti product still better for my location other than hyundai, tata etc... in terms of easy availabilty of spare parts and maintenance, even though pricing of brezza is a bit high in sub suv segment

My Honda Jazz has got 7 Speed CVT and i am happy with it. 4 Speed Torque Converter is too old Technology!!
CVT is not superior technology. CVT is used only for better mileage but otherwise it has irritating rubber band effect. Torque converter is still used by most premium brands like BMW AND Merc.
The K engine(probably one of the thr best series), Maruti ASS, soft ride quality, non offensive looks. And to top it off a 4* rating safety. I'll take this over the Nexon(Except if it's the EV)
Vitara Breeza or Tata Harrier which is best having best comfort,less steering weight and high engine power also milage. Or suggest other any cars having this
People only comment about Nexon in youtube in reality Vitara brezza has more sales
Its costly being a petrol car. Earlier diesel version was more value for money. Will be going for Ciaz instead or will be looking for previous gen brezza.
Turbocharged Petrol Engines are not suited for Congested City Traffic due to Turbo Lag. Linear power Delivery matters.
Maruri continues to act cheap. Now they have decided they will not provide cars for Global NCAP.

The engine of Maruti Virtarra Brezza is more refined and powerful, 1500CC compared to other 1200CC in the same segment 300CC extra plus best power to weight ratio. If driven and maintained properly, it will last longer if you're intending to keep it with you for long. Resale value will be better because the naturally aspirated engine will last longer. Jo gadi budhapa me bhi chal sake ga wohi gari lena chahiye

I'm reading many negative comments about this car.Inn loggon ko kuchh bhi pata nahi hai.Vitara Brezza is best product in this segment after XUV 300(Diesel).It is best in terms of ride & handling package(Suspensions are neither too soft nor too stiff & handling is also great).It has all important features like Auto dimming IRVM,Automatic wipers,Auto folding ORVM,Automatic headlamps,Rear reading lamps,Light in boot,Good touchscreen,Good speakers,Automatic climate control,Front & rear armrest,etc.It has good cabin space.Interior quality levels are decent.It also has good build quality.Orr baat rahi petrol engine ki toh uss maamale me Suzuki & Honda ka koi muqabala nahi.Tata is doing good job,But isaka matalab yeh nahi ki ek acchhe product ko logg badanaam karenge.It is better than Nexon.

Rear a/c vents and 12v charging port is missing
Today I test drove the 5 speed manual and was really impressed with the naturally aspirated petrol engine along with this smooth slotting gearbox. The driving position and seat comfort also is very good. But two things really puts me down as a prospective buyer is the interior quality and lack of connected car tech.
What are crash test rating
The front seats are designed for midgets. They are too small and unsupportive. Maruti really needs to address the overall cabin space.

Here you go. Comment section filled with Nexon lovers bragging about how good nexon is. Nexon is decent car but the main problem is 3 cylinder petrol engine which is not refined, not known for reliability. And also it is loud.

Pls do a comparison between tata nexon 2020 and brezza 2020.
People complaining why Suzuki doesn't offer the build quality that a brand like Tata offers. It's simple: Mileage. Suzuki makes the lightest cars in every segment, something they achieve not due to cutting edge engineering but through clear compromise on build quality. That reduction in weight is one of major factors for achieving high mileage (obviously engine tuning helps as well). Tata and Mahindra on the other hand make the heaviest cars in the segment, not surprising why both have cars rated 5 star by the NCAP.
If Suzuki focuses on build quality, they would lose their edge in the mileage department. And they know very well, most of the buyers in the Indian market don't care for build quality. Unless buyers change their focus or Government brings in mandatory regulations with regards to crash ratings, Suzuki would never improve. The latter option honestly is more difficult as Suzuki being the biggest brand in India would also be the biggest loser and would lobby against any crash related regulations.
The mild Hybrid should be stronger on larger Maruti cars. A Petrol car needs that help at the start to push the car ahead and help with engine destressing, and also achieving greater mileage.
Maruti need to rethink on pricing when so many good SUVs are coming up around 5 lakhs
Things to be considered while buying vitara brezza in 2020
Mileage: not so good because of 1.5l petrol engine.
Performance: If performance matters go with Ecosport diesel.
Looks: average.
Built quality: decent.
What the mileage of 1500 cc breeza ?
105 BHP is again less for a minis SUV ...it shud have been atleast abt 130 ps power..&with a sunroof..that wud have clinched the deal..

An opportunity for competition to catch up with their market share in this segment. Brezza sold more because of its diesel unit. Either Maruti will be forced to get its BS6 V of Diesel or it would have to get a powerful turbo to power this segment.
I know this man since i was kid.
