Was looking at the air line tools in a catalog, first time ive seen someone that has them. Now that i know they work good imma get my dealer to order them
Aye appreciate that, and man, they are awesome bro. I honestly didn't think I would like them as much. Although I'm affiliated with them now, I still might head over to tech choice tools because they have crazy deals over there right now. The only thing I wish koken had was locking flex head ratchets. The detents are good but its nothing like having the option to lock it. That is my only gripe about the koken ratchets.
I've held off long enough on getting the Lisle electrical connector pliers. Amazon has had some good discounts on those lately. And I've got a couple of Koken ratchets and absolutely love them, especially the Z-series. But I've got one of their 24 tooth ratchets, and I swear it's just as smooth.
I used to always pull connectors with hose pliers but working on European cars I found out the hard way they break easily. I'd buy those in a second if I were working on something with more resilient connectors though
I don't really use them alot to have used different brands. I use sunex for the little work I would need them for. But everyone says that Vessel no doubt has the best
How big do those air line tools go? I need something like that for 3/4 hose so I stop tearing my hands up w a flat blade. I need something simple I will carry
I wanna say it goes up to that. But don't quote me on it. I don't have the tool in front of me for right now to know for sure. I never had to use the big ones yet
@ tis the season. You know it’s a pita when those things get cold. I heat a lot of them up w my torch. I am an authorized service tech for jacuzzi so it’s a little different than cars. I play w the cars at home. Appreciate the response and I made sure to subscribe. I refreshed my Milwaukee ratchets. Got the insider and the 3/8 high speed and they have been excellent. I’m waiting for the 1/4 but I have been super happy upgrading from my old brushed stuff. I really haven’t bought a Milwaukee tool recently I was disappointed with and I think I have around 20 now that I sold the old ones
@@EzTechJoe I found an open box one for $180 w metric sockets. Had to jump on it and sold my 2 old brushed ones. Then I got the 3/8 high speed free w 4ah batteries I picked up for it. Hard to find a deal on the 1/4. They canceled my order for one for $80 so I’m looking again. Hard to find under $130 for a decent one
You've had good luck with those 1st two versions of the Lisle disconnect pliers? I just didn't have good luck with them and ended up reaching for my Merry pliers basically every time. The newest versions look very similar to the Merry versions and like they'll work really well, but i haven't tried them yet. I just didnt like the 1st two versions. They were basically useless to me and were very limted in their application.
No I don't although when I first started using them it took some getting used to. It's easy to break them if your not careful of how you use them with force. I think I did my first time around and I learned from there
Could you have got yourself a better and cheaper 1/2 impact gun instead of a snap on? A lot of those snap ons are way over priced and under perform, compared to the Milwaukee and Dewalt. Actually, all the the power tools you showed, Dewalt makes a better power tool and the battery is much better too. The snap ons batteries are crap out. I bought a 1/2 snap on a few years ago, battery crapped out and it lacked power. Got the Dewalt DCF 961 and haven’t looked back.
Something being "better and cheaper" is subjective. Snap-on has given me zero problems. And I actually run dewalt power tools. And have had each tool that I've shown here in dewalt, and what you said is not true at all. Snap-on is 10 times better. Expensive? Yes. But there is no way you're telling me that dewalt cordless ratchet is better than Snap-on. I know for a fact having Both that is not true. But that is my opinion, and also my money.. and the DCF961 is great, but also, it's overkill.. at that point, just grab a 3/4 impact, but everyone has a different taste in tools. And for now, this is minne
My friend gets his snap on batteries rebuilt by a local business. He was paying $35 but it's been a while so I'd assume $50-60 in today's money. I'm perfectly fine using Milwaukee and DeWalt though
Thank you Joe for all your videos.
Hey thank you for watching man! 🙌🏾
Awesome video!!! Thank you
Appreciate it!
Thanks brother for all you do!!! Always good to see those who are in the same field. Also you maybe in my area I’m in the Chicago land area.

Wish you and yours Many Blessings!!
Thanks! You as well!
Those are some cool tools. I see a few things that I want to get.
THANK YOU ,,,,,,,,,,!!!!

Aw yeah man It makes things easier. And it doesn't cost to much of a grip, so it's low risk to give it a shot.
That jump starter is insane. Shoutout the diesel techs.
Great Video. I need them Koken sockets. Maybe I'll score a set in 2025.

Now that I pretty much have my collection built up I try to alternate between upgrade/need and cool /time saver
Same here

Tone also makes a nut holding Japanese socket set. Less expensive than the Koken
If you could only get one of those lisle electrical disconnect pliers, which one would you get?
Probably the straight disconnect pliers. I find myself needing that the most. I guess it depends most on the kind of equipment you work on
Any recommendations for screwdrivers?
I don't really use them alot to have used different brands. I use sunex for the little work I would need them for. But everyone says that Vessel no doubt has the best
Trying to expand my toolbox and trying to see which screwdrivers and wrenches to get for a budget

@bulshavix6 thanks man and I've been thinking about getting the insider myself. I might eventually

Omg, never used any ratchets but the bug 4 brands
Are them Lisle made in USA?
China I believe
Is that jump starter lithium powered or lead acid?
It's lithium

Yeah. I had to get used to using them though. Once I got th3 hang of it without breaking the connections It was great
don't you brake a lot of of clips with them pliers

My guy Joe got what he wanted and he wanted Snap On. Just let people buy what they want without arguing with them about what they shouldve bought.....
The real problem is Dewalt and Milwaukee don't have a green option lol
