Compress Replacement. Plus Putting Nu-Calgon Pan Spray To The Test!

In this video I replace a compressor in an Air Temp Condensing Unit. Just when I’m finishing up, I find the condensate pan leaking! So I put Nu-Calgons Pan Spray to the test!

I’ve had good luck using JB Weld for fixing cracks and holes. The NuCalgon products seem to be quite pricey. Like somebody else already noted, the spray that you are using looks like repackaged Flex-Seal.

Is there a 9 in rise from the evap from the furnace if not it is going to crack

No crankcase heater? Did you determine why it failed?

Most straight AC units don’t have CCH unless they’re in an application where the AC is used in low ambient temperatures. I’ll have to look back an see what took it out.

On all air temp units it should be charged on the line set length
