No excessive gimbal movements, no over the top electronic music, and not super color corrected. Exactly the videos I strive to find! Excellent work
I literally watch this video at least once a month for enjoyment, it's ridiculous. This is so good
this has a photography worthy of an oscar... everything was perfect
The Music adds up to the quality here,, I thank you both Leo and Pensees,
so I keep coming back to learn a thing or two from how you directed this.
super awesome..
just started listening to what Pensees has worked on also,, pretty awesome work there,
2:25-2:46 is so good that I come back to this video for enjoyment and motivation often
Beautiful shots!
beautiful! gave me goosebumps
Wow. This is probably the best video i have seen so far made with the Gh4.
Amazing video! Love how you timed each shot
Beautifully shot & edited!
wish you have more memories like this. and don't forget to show us afterwards
jea you are a real color grade talent. my greatest respect, awesome video
Beautiful!
Awesome footage ❤️
This is the best reel video so far on this internet shot on GH4 with 12-35mm f/2.8 that I am going to buy after writing this comment. Well done !
I'm speechless... genial...
Pure magic!
Hi guys! Sorry it's the first time I see all your comments let me answer one by one :)
Incredibly well done video
Still great...
nice.... salam im from indonesia... :)
This was great. Mind telling us what your set up/ lenses were?
Wow. Beautifull image. Please write me what lenses you used to shoot. And what picture profile v log or cinelike d?
amazing shots!
would also really appreciate info on lenses/setup
I've watched many GH4 videos and none have compared to this. I would say he used a Metabones Speed Adaptor with high quality Cinema Lenses. Also most shots were most likely 4:2:2 10 bit through an external recorder. This was not shot handheld with a Lumix Leica 12-35mm! Used VLOG also.
Gorgeous! Which was the equipment and settings used (Lenses, picutre profile *Vlog, cine D or standard) ?

Hello Jesus! The lens is the Panasonic Lumix X Vario 12-35 mm f/2,8, Picture profile was Cine D.
@@senorquill And it's only internal 8 bit. 8 bit is fine if your exposition and white balance is perfect.
did you use ND filter?@ many thanks!!!
Hello! Your video is really great!! Great job!! Do you use a stabilizator with your GH4??
Absolutely beuatiful!
Great work man!
What profile did you use? Cine-D ? Or did you get the V-log mode?
cine-D :)
Some of the best footage I’ve seen from the GH4, currently working to get there with mine. Would love to see any tutorials on creating the richness and quality of these shots on the vario Lens. Awesome work
Expose well, make sure that nothing is above 95% of the zebra and do subtle color correction and you will achieve this results. Good stuff with these cameras is all about good shots, good exposure, good white balance, that's all. Very small work was done on post production : small contrast adjustements, a bit of saturation
@ Thank you for replying to this! Honestly this is really good advice, I just launched my biggest project so far (devoueted films) and these small changes would make a difference in some shots. Need to learn to read he zebra next!
@@brendandevoue2548 it's very easy don't worry ;)
@ do you add sharp in post production?
awesome. I also shoot some breathtaking places in indonesia
Woow nan franchement trop bien, stp tu peux me dire comment ta fait pour avoir cette qualité sur la GH4 :/ j'aime trop ce Look !!
Hi Leo! Nice work! Which lens/es did you use on the GH4 for this video?
Panasonic lumix 12-35 vario
What lens did you use in this awesome video? PlZ
Superbe video Léo,BRAVO!!
J'ai moi aussi un GH4,et c'est une excellente caméra 4K.
Quel objectif est utilisé sur le GH4 ?
12-35 lumix vario ;)
Amazing shots and atmosphere! Which lenses did you use?
Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-35 mm f/2.8 :)
for those wondering: im pretty sure the lens he used was a Tokina 60-120mm f/2.8!
Hey! It's shot with a Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-35 mm f/2.8
@ Damn was I wrong 5 years ago. not even close to the correct focal lengths ;)
hello
i can not update my camera, what did you use here when you record this video ? why my videos never this quality with gh4 ? thank you
Dude, what lens did you use? I'm sure a lot of people would like to know.
He what were your cine d settings? All at -5?
amazing! what lenses did you use?

Hi ! It's all shot handheld with the Panasonic Lumix X Vario 12-35 mm f/2,8 and stabilized in post with FCPX :) No external recorder, no 10 bits, only color grading .
Wow, nice job. You should do a tutorial on your color grading technique.
@ I am using a gh4 in 2021 And would like to get cinematic results, like in your video. Please explain your exposure process also are you using luts? I’f so what lut are you using. Lastly are you de-noising in post? Thx I look fwd to your response.
@@lamartyrell8373 no luts, a bit of saturation and contrast that's all
for exposure, just make sure that nothing is above 95% of the zebra, and most of your image is under 90%
it will be fine ! then your footage will look great on your computer even if on your gh4 it could look dark
@ how did u set your zebras to get this clean image ?
What is this lens?
I’d legitimately pay for a tutorial. I have the same body and lens but my shots always end up grainy, even properly exposed in sunlight. Anyhow, amazing work!
what color profil do you use ?
@ I currently use Cinelike D with default settings with everything at Zero, while using automatic white balance. Additionally, how do you personally utilize zebra? Do you set the minimum to 95% and just make sure before you take your shot that you don’t have any zebras in the frame?
@@user-sm1df7eq1r same problem as you..
Same problem right now bro any tips?
Solid man. Well done
what did you use to edit? Looks Amazing !
FCPX ;)
so sad you are not at all answering any questions about camera settings and lens

It's 8 bit, there is no 10 bit on the GH4 ;)
im super late..but i have a gh4 and NONE of my footage turns out this clean! NONE! its some sort of grainy noise all over the place..EVEN in sun. what lens did you use for this?
12-35 lumix vario ;)
ein video vom feinsten
Hey there, Incredibly beautiful Video!
I am planning to start an own YT-channel with sketch-comedy videos, and I've already bought everything, lighting equipment,a microphone, and even the panasonic gh4. And since all this equipment has aleady surpassed my planned budget, I'm looking for a rather cheap alternative to the lense you're using. Maybe up to 200$. Can you help me there, what lenses I could buy? Because I really fell in love with these beautiful images in your video!
which settings? looks great and which color
Cine-D and custom color grading :)
@ and do u have all 0 in cned ?
I'm completely willing to pay for your next trip as long as you film it also :D
Please, what lenses was used ?
Panasonic Lumix X Vario 12-35 mm f/2,8 ;)
