I tested my new A7iii's video capabilities for the last 2 weeks in Bali, Indonesia and the surrounding islands and captured some footage. No crazy editing this time around but I hope you enjoy!

Thank you for not over saturating this short with a ton of transitions, and instead letting the cinematography speak for its self! Its refreshing to come across a video like this where there are minimal transitions. Your use of the few at the beginning helped set up a solid intro, and then you just let you adventure and cinematography speak for itself! Yeah only the nice spots you get to see @socialmedia. But the burning trash piles next to the street and the poor people, nobody gets to see. Bali is the best example of how to make a country look so luxury but in reality it is only the Instagram/youtube image.

Subbed. That footage, and music choice was a sensational combo. I've recently transitioned to Sony and was really regretting it as I didn't feel i could get the colours to look as good....but this proved me wrong.
Everyone, the lenses used were Rokinon AF native sony e mounts, 14mm and 35mm...stop asking.
But I do have a question of my own, regarding grading, were you applying particular luts, or filmconvert or doing it manually?
I applied my own lut and manually tweaked each clip
jakobmihailo did you create the lut yourself? This is beautiful man
Just make sure to properly set white balance, epsosure, and such. Maybe mess around with picture profiles and find one that you like. Sony colors seem fine to me. Especially the sony a7iii
regarding picture profile.... i take it this wasn't done using slog2? (ive heard people saying it goes to sh*t when trying to grade due to the 8bit)

the lenses that werde used are pretty basic and the drone is two years old. Amazing what he was able to do with it
It never depends on the gear...
Camera is $2k, lenses are $5-600, used crane is $2-400, used Mavic pro can be had for $500 if you look hard enough. Get to it man.

He created a solid and tracked the null to the maverick. He then tracked the letters inside the shape and changed tweaked the position a bit. That's It.

@@wilhelmrozwell1158 cause Bali and Java both have very unique locations in nature which kinda need a climax in music to show te magnificence of those places. The places were shown, so that's super amazing and well shot with some great perspectives, but the music isn't really cohering with the visuals because of the lack of climax or buildup. Still a great video nonetheless

How do you get the footage to look that sharp? I have had my Sony A7111 for a year or so and I can't get my quality look like this is there a particular rendering way to accomplish something like this?
Jose Pedraza First, make sure you have a great lens as that’s what really will give you the good definition. Second make sure your exporting everything correctly within your editing software as it can pixelate the video quite a bit if you don’t. Hope that helps.
