That should automatically make you think “well holy crap what does that say about our society…” not “well it’s her fault for killing herself”. It takes SO MUCH for a sexually abused woman to come forward to press criminal charges against an abuser, and if that person is a powerful or famous figure then the public torment that woman receives is brutal. That’s the reality. So often women just stay silent and let it eat away at them because even if that’s nearly unbearable, it’s still more bearable than the humiliation and hate and disbelief they receive if they try to press charges ON TOP of the trauma they are already feeling from the assault/s

I’m going to quote Pliny the Elder here: “Fortune favors the bold.” This doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be careful or reckless, but I think if you spend too much time worrying about the “what ifs” you’ll never get to have great experiences. Always make sure your safe and be aware of your surroundings. If you feel it’s necessary, take some self defense classes. However, I think you’ll find that most people you meet in life are potential friends and not the monsters we hear about on Buzzfeed Unsolved. I know it’s scary out there sometimes, but I think you have the courage to face it.

Do you really think this is a solution? Are we getting angels to manage it too, how about some unicorns. There will always be sleaze men or women who just because they can they will. The problem starts with parents too poor who see their kids as their way out, they put their little kids in the hands of managers and agencies. The kids are abused, they hardly see their parents so they are abused by these managers and then they become too rich and powerful themselves with no real instruction or manners and they become abusers too. On the other hand there will always be bad people, among 7 of a group one is a bad seed, it is impossible to get only good ones. Are we getting rid of them too and prevent them from singing? As a woman and human being, it’s important to me when sexual abuse conducts and crimes get uncovered and discussed. But as a lawyer, I see very wrongly to misrepresent facts. This video has a lot of incorrect or omitted facts, for example Kim Sang Kyo, the guy “that started it all” not only was indicted in 3 cases of sexual harassment, his account of being “defending a woman who was being abused” was false and the policemen that arrested him that night were found not responsible of police brutality.
Also, Seungri’s case is subjudice so presumption of innocence applies and should be respected. He has never been accused of any kind of sexual abuse, harassment or “molka”. The only charge related is described as sharing a picture of naked women’s backs that was a promotion for a club, not taken by him and even less without consent.
To make him the center image of your video, even as you talk about convicted sexual offenders like JJY and CJH, not only is a misrepresentation, could be considered defamation.
Lastly but not least, to present audio of “a friend” stating his personal opinion without any type of hard evidence but only feelings and speculation is not only bad shape as journalism, in reality doesn’t mean anything.

We aren't believing media, we are believing the court documents and witness statements.

But all 3 women/prostitutes all said that it was Yoo In Suk (Seungri business partner) that called for them and payed.
Yoo In Suk himself have been saying that Seungri was not involved since day one.
One women said that she was called at Seungri’s house and think that it is possible that Seungri didn’t know that she was a prostitute.

It is different. It's very unfortunate that many people can't differentiate it due to all media reporting it as the same. During an interview, even the lawyer who bring BS case out to light was frustrated with the media. Now that everything came to light that nothing really big actually happened, that lawyer suddenly wasn't in the picture anymore. I don't see him going on interviews talking about the case again after BS was investigated and cleared(only found drug abused by the employee but they didn't supply drugs to people). This video was made based from information given out back in 2019 but left out a big part of details where some of the investigations already ended. Even recently MBC posted a correction about an article they wrote back in Feb 2019 stating Burning Sun CEO delivered 20mil won to police and 300k won to the clubs team members. They say that the information is not confirmed. I hope Buzzfeed think clearly about their source back in 2019 and check k if any corrections had been done before posting this because many English news were made based on Korean news that were translated and Korean news are edited all the time.

I cannot believe how many young fangirls are actually defending these monsters in comments, even giving different links to prove how this accused are innocents. Maybe one of the reason, this crime been happening a lot in that country is because how blinded you are by dazzle of k-pop artists. They were normal people before getting fame, normal people with nasty desires and now they are getting advantage since they are celebrities. Don't defend them, you guys are brainwashed and it's terrifying.

Why would people prefer to believe assumptions when talking about Seungri?
Do you believe in seungri facts or just believe in what the media made you believe?
Most of the facts presented by the Korean media were based on assumptions and confused the name of seung Hyun, royal owner of Burning sun, with that of seungri, dj and small shareholder....
Reading that name everyone assumed it was Seungri, the singer, not the real owner.
And most of what the press pulled out, it was enough to upset you

@@yukijames1321 He was in a group chat made for a restaurant business. And a video was sent there. From what the court document says, it was of a consensual intercourse but filmed without consent. Seungri then told them to not do those kind of thing.
After that from your moral you can decide.
He didn’t consent to receiving that and there’s just so much you can do.
Also in 2016, JJY’s girlfriend reported him for filming her during intercourses (only the victim can report, it seems). And JJY lied that he filmed it with her consent and the girlfriend dropped the charges and got shamed. It is really sad.
